Ordered 2 milkshakes (blueberry & peach) .. only could taste vanilla, no flavor. Had a banana split, which was good and a hot fudge peanut butter brownie sundae, which was just ok

My grandsons loved it. Prices are a little high, but you really do get plenty of ice cream 🍨🍦 I got a medium chocolate cone the boys got a medium cotton candy shake and a med sundae the total was $14.00. Not bad at all.

Ordered the “strawberry” ice cream for our son and he said it tasted bad. Tasted it myself and it was definitely off. I asked the girl if it was strawberry and she said “yes” and showed me the old bottle of syrup she used to flavor the vanilla ice cream. I told her that it tasted off, like plastic bubblegum or something, and asked if he could just have vanilla. She refused to replace the original because she said she “didn’t make it wrong”. Lol. I told her she should get rid of the syrup because it definitely wasn’t good—should’ve looked at the expiration date on it. Won’t ever be back.

I don’t leave reviews but what we experienced was a little concerning. We stopped here to get some ice cream on our way home and as we were reading the menu a young man came out and started spraying Raid bug killer right by the delivery window. The most concerning part of this was there was a woman with her child and their food right there AND their food was on the counter as this young man sprayed. It was windy with the chemicals going everywhere.It was also clear this young man was likely on the spectrum. Other employees sat inside and didn’t give assistance or direction to better help this young man do his job without endangering himself or others with very toxic chemicals.We don't know how the ice cream is as we left as the young man began to spray upwind of where we were.If the owner reads this your employees need to do better and extend some courtesy to one another and their customers.

Dropped in for the first time while passing through. We had a sundae and a Freeze (aka Blizzard). Both were excellent. The staff is friendly, too. Great place to stop!

The Freeze is an old favorite!!! The BEST Footlongs and Ice Cream, not to mention their burgers AND the Mini-Tacos around! A great summer spot, but we go from Spring until Fall for our special treats! They also have ice cream sundaes for your pup! Love this place!!!

It's pricey but it's a seasonal ice cream place so no more then you might expect. Soft serve is pretty generous but sundaes are a little on the small side in "MY" opinion for the price. Decedent selection of food. I think they should find a BBQ cook to partner with. That would be awesome.

Nice little icecream place with outside dining via picnic tables. It has an outdoor play area for kids to play, and serves food like burgers, hotdogs, potato pancakes, fries, etc. The food is food truck quality, but the ice cream is top notch!

Many different flavors. Play area for children . Food is good and ice cream is excellent. The doggy cup was really small though, only had half scoop vanilla and a milk bone

We went there yesterday and after standing in line 15 minutes we placed our order and the girls says since your bill didn’t come to $10we need to add 50 cents on is that ok? I said for what we’re paying cash she said hold on I don’t know then comes back and says it will be 25 cents more we were still confused I said well the just made the twist a large if it’s such and issue but she couldn’t nor wouldn’t explain why.we only ordered a sundae and a large twist and it came to $10.25 seems a bit pricey I think there’s something shaded with the staff going on...

How sad that such an iconic piece of local culture has fallen. The worst service ever and when the fried pickles were raw dough in center and when brought to their attention the girl said well what do you want me to do!!! Well what were going to do is not return!

On a fast for Blood Work. A foot long Chilli Cheese Dog (Nacho cheese) 🍟 and a large Root beer Float for my granddaughter, Great Granddaughter and Great Grandson on a beautiful Spring day. The simple pleasures of life shared by 3 generations. The Freezer will always be there for us ♥️

Its annoying that I feel like I'm being followed if I forget to rate this store because you know i was there. It's none of your business what my experience was like . If it was bad it never gets fixed anyway so leave me alone and stop stalking my phone through gps. I am very busy and dont have much time to answer my experiences. Nobody cares anyway

It would be a 5 stars but the random signs with menu items everywhere and no consistent descriptions or concise menu is annoying. You have to search the windows for a lost of ice cream flavors. Some signs have a new items lost and no description. So what's a bug ugly or a pretzel melt?

Expensive soft serve. It's fine, but I'm never satisfied because it costs too much and isn't particularly good. The best part about this place is the small play area for the kids out back.

Lots of scenic seating in the back. I had a large Smores freeze with chocolate ice creme (ice creme mixed with chocolate chips, Graham cracker dust and mini marshmallows. I also added rainbow sprinkles). It was tasty. Marshmallow texture is a little odd due to them being compressed and cold. Husband had a lemon lime slushie. Very tart. Both together were $6 and some change. So pricing not too outrageous.

This is a great place to take the kids quick for ice cream and the food is great as well. They also have a playground in the back for the kids and a public restroom..

My wife and I are new to the Tunkhannock area and I love ice cream. We went to THE FREEZ for the first time together 2 weeks ago and I was hooked! I can't wait to try all of their ice cream.

No child size cone... Asked for a baby cone and got the same size as my daughter... And the put it in a dish, after I asked for a cone. she asked me about dish for my daughter's ice cream which I ordered before mine.

The best thing in the world is taking an evening drive with the wife and a few of the grandkids down to "THE FREEZ". They are young enough to climb around on the playground Monster Truck with the wife watching while I get the Ice Cream. My favorite is the Hot Fudge Sunday with Chocolate ice cream. The wife loves the Peanut Butter Sunday, they have a ton of flavors to choose from.They also have several picnic tables where the little ones can sit and eat their ice cream.Last year 2 of the grand kids asked if we could go to The Freez when they came over for Thanksgiving and they were surprised and sad that it was closed.Whether you have little ones or you just like a great Sunday for a great price you should stop down and enjoy them this summer.
