This giant is located in thorndale Plaza on Lincoln Highway. This plaza has several like kohls, chinese take out, pizza shops, etc. There is plenty of parking and easy to get in and get out of the area. The shop has all that you would expect in a grocery store, have got vegetables section that I shop a lot, then usual groceries , canned foods etc, they do have take out section of cooked food not great variety but okay. They do have a sea food section and meat section, too. They have a fruits section and have a great collection of fruits here. Recently shopped for veggies and beverages and always stocked up nice and easy. The bakery section is neat and contains a nice collection. The checkout was easy to get out. Check out this location for your grocery needs, and you will be happy!!!

The go to grocery shop in the area. It's prices are more reasonable then Acme, Wegmans, and way better than Whole Foods. They usually have more generic options of foods so you also get a better deal. The store could definitely be clean, more organized, and better stocked. There were things they were out of stock on we were looking for but in their defense it was one of the busiest times of the year. I also love that there's a Starbucks in the store

Horrible experience at self check out. Self check machine is too sensitive had a small order the machine kept saying help on the way. Well the help that was on the way was very rude women says you can’t put the empty shopping basket on in the bagging area. I don’t shop at giant much at all because of bad experience cashing out . I told the rude employee the self check out machines at Acme don’t do that. She said in very rude way where not acme. I said wow. The employees at self check stare you down like you’re a criminal. I don’t have that experience at any other supermarket. I will be calling management about this . But I’m sure they don’t care. Very horrible experience!!!!

Giant has always been great. Their sales have even gotten better. Most of the staff are pleasant and helpful. Clean, well stocked.

I used to buy beer there every day...now I never buy beer there...the main person working the beer garden is a mean bully ...they mistreat customers daily...they don't like their job and make customers pay by being disrespectful...i have tried to talk to management not just about how I've been treated but about how I have witnessed other customers treated and they say the week handle the situation...well it goes on...it's funny because most of giant workers and management are amazing and have become people I greet when I'm shopping...this person not at all...so when you buy your beer be aware

This store got rid of all their handheld scanners at the self checkout section. The handhelds are the only way doordashers can scan their cards in to the system. So now you’re forced to go thru a cashier lane-which often takes longer than we can afford to wait-as opposed to self checkout. No one is going to take giant orders during peak hours knowing the line is going to be insane. All of this can be remediated by leaving the self checkout lanes with handheld scanners open at all times. Thanks!

I only ever shop here out of absolute necessity (which is almost never). The parking lot is huge but the aisles inside the store, not so much. Getting around the store is difficult especially when it's busy which it has been every time I've been there. Checkout has always been lacking and the self-checkout line is usually packed.

This store is stocked well however it is often congested making it hard to walk through and grab things. This is not a quick grab and out location.

This store is amazing. Although I do have one problem. One time I was there it was freezing cold. The last time I was there was hot as heck so they need to get their dang temperature under control. But their produce is a really good. They're meat. Selection is top notch from the butcher. They're fresh. Seafood is amazing. All around. They have top notch selection a little bit more expensive than Cambria county giant eagles but definitely worth it. They are not related to the Giant eagle that I found out.

Usually happy at the Thorndale Giant. We have shopped here for 10 years. This week I purchased a cherry pie for $8.49. It was terrible. No cherries and tasted like jam with corn starch. If it wasn’t Thanksgiving week I would have returned it. Surprised by Giants bakery usually better. Don’t mind paying a lot for a good pie but it was in the trash.MTrainor

Had to post a new review because I am so thoroughly disgusted right now that this is the last time, I will ever try to shop this store.I have a sick 9-month-old at home, so I ordered online hoping a simple pickup would help. First available pickup was 7-8 pm, ok no problem. I got the email confirming, got the email it was being "picked", but was told don't go to the store until I get the email that it's completed. Still had not received anything email or text wise by 8 PM and I had to start work. Got a call at 830 wondering where I was. What do you mean where am I, I never got the email saying you people were done with my order. Oh well the system is messing up, ok no problem but there's no way I can make it there before 9 when you close, can I come tomorrow? Yeah, no problem, the earliest would be 8 AM. Sounds good see you tomorrow.Fiancé goes to pick up the order, oh well we don't hold orders this close to the holidays. What do you mean you don't hold orders; I paid for it and was told I could pick it up. Yeah well, we don't do that, so you'll have to reorder.So, thank you people of Giant, for the incapability of doing your job and sticking to what you say, because by the time my fiancé got home, I needed to sleep before work again tonight and didn't have time to go out and re shop, or make an order and it be done in time to be picked up. Literally the most basic of jobs, failed.

The good sales are only the sale price if you are smart enough to clip the proper coupons on the app, which is usually hard to open in the store.Update, I only shop here for sales and those things I can't get at less expensive stores. Staff here are very very nice! Prices are still ridiculous.

I rarely come here despite living nearby because of how dirty, overpriced, and out of stock everything usually is but I needed one item and decided to stop in. Boy was that a mistake, it was incredibly congested with the check-out line going all the way to the bakery. With my one item, I decided to check out in an area that was completely empty with nothing going on, the alcohol section on a Sunday morning. There was a cashier named Myka there who was by himself with no customers, I went over to check out. The cashier refused my service unless I was purchasing alcohol despite the incredible congestion and overcrowded front end. I found this incredibly inconvenient especially since he explained that he has responsibilities to take care of. The #1 responsibility at a grocery store is to serve the customer. This may make sense if a customer had a cart full of groceries and the front end was empty, but under the circumstances they should accommodate to help alleviate and move business along. The lack of customer service at this store is astounding and I will continue to avoid this location.

This store has gone downhill so fast. It’s downright disgusting and we’re done! The floors are constantly sticky and nasty even with that robot running around. The self check outs are always dirty and there are no wipes, and the crud that has built up between them is intense. Lately several of them are down every visit, not to mention they are the most aggressive “please place your item in the bagging area” machines around. Produce clearly doesn’t stay cold as it goes bad really fast. The back for the store stinks like fish, the ice cream is always half melted and the deli counter takes half your day. I’ve been shopping at Giants literally my whole life, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Downingtown. This one is by far the worst and still looks like they’re trying to find the bottom. Drive to Wegmans, folks, it’s worth a few extra minutes and it’s cheaper anyway.

April fools joke was to remove all the isle descriptions from the signs at the end of each row. My time is worth more than 25 grocery clerks combined. I will walk 25 miles one way through 3 feet of snow before I ever spend one penny in this store again.

Overall I can get in and out fairly quickly. They've rearranged some aisles, as they seem to do often. They feel a bit smaller and a little odd in where things have been placed.

Great deli and prepared food department. This location is super clean and seems to be better run than others. I just wish they had a gas station to use my gas perks. The closest location with a gas station is 20 + minutes away. It does not make cents to drive that far to save a couple bucks on a fill up.

Absolutely ridiculous prices. The shelves are always missing what you need. Can’t buy anything here without feeling like you’re being ripped off. So glad there is an Aldi close by.

Tori in the deli hot food was so helpful! I was somewhat clueless as to the process but he so graciously helped me figure out what I needed. The app was confusing once you claim the rewards the info disappeared but I was able to explain it and he helped me. They are quite busy and it's hard work but I appreciated his kind attitude! I don't see any fruit for toddlers like other locations in produce and the robot is invasive, cashier last time was a bit cranky and not wanting to work I.e. bag and not pleasant but the service in the deli w/Tori will be why I come back here. Hopefully management takes notice of all points mentioned. 5 stars for Tori. But one star off for the other reasons and also a different day the shoppers for Grocery delivery were in the way and some were rude but for all the negative there is positive with produce gentleman and deli lunch meat gentleman and lady being kind. Maybe it's a department discrepancy? Tight space though.

Service desk personnel are dreadful. More interested in talking to each other and socializing than being helpful. Rest of the store is fine. Still shop there, just hope you don't need service desk help.
