My wife and I stopped by on our way to see the eclipse in NY. Camped at Red Rocks BBQ overnight through Harvest Hosts. This was our first time camping at a business and we were not sure what to expect. Our concerns quickly vanished as soon as we were greeted at the door. We were instructed where to park for the night and once we settled in, we were back inside enjoying some of the best BBQ I have eaten in a long time. You can tell how much care went into making every part of our meal.My wife had the special, an onion smash burger, and I had the brisket platter. Both were delicious and the sides were all equally good (the baked beans were fantastic).After eating we spent a couple hours meeting several locals as well as a couple fellow travelers. They brew their own beer and it is quite tasty.We live a few hours away, and will be back, but if this was closer to me, I would be visiting quite often.

I have been a fan of Red Rock BBQ and their food since they opened. They have also catered a few events for my family and local organizations that I am involved in, all of which have been fabulous. Most recently Red Rock and their amazing staff went above and beyond to host and cater a funeral lunch for my family. They made sure the event was private so that my family could be together without any interruptions and they served a delicious meal. Every aspect was handled with love and understanding.

Loved the ribs.My husband and I were driving by on our way to a Niagara and stumbled upon this gem.We ordered their ribs with potato salad and Mac and cheese and their wings.The moment we took a bite of the ribs, we went back and got a second plate and finished both. Meat comes off the bone with a plastic fork. I wanted to ask them what the secret of their dry rub was and if they could bottle it.Live band and atmosphere was also really great and the people there are so warm and friendly. Loved it.

Wonderful hospitality and great bbq. The wings were our favorite. All of the sauces were amazing. Mixing the Carolina white and siracha mayo sauce together was the best.

There’s isn’t enough stars for service let’s start with that I walked in and ordered a fairly big order for one guy guy come out the back says I’m sorry it’s going to be a little longer so I waited while I waited they gave me free chicken witch was amazing and free drinks for the wait I got my food and another customer told me I had to try a sauce the fact I already paid for my meal I didn’t order it. I said I will try it next time they gave you the sauce for free and instead of a 1/4 rib meal they gave me a half rib meal I’m now sitting at the table unable to move bc I could not help but the eat all of it…..I work on a oil rig I will be sending anyone and everyone there to eat I might even make the 3 hour drive from home 100% humble 100% great vibes loved every second didn’t really wanna leave

From the moment you walk in the atmosphere and service are top notch! The brisket is the best I've had since my time in Texas and the prices are great. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping at Red Rock BBQ. We found this place while driving along 81.The environment is friendly with a small town feel. The staff make you feel welcomed and tell you about their restaurant. Ordering is a breeze as you walk up to a small counter for food. Beer and Wine is available; however, we learned this is operated by another owner on the other side of the dining room.We both had the beef brisket sandwich platter. The meat was cooked to perfection. The platter came with two sides and cornbread. While the sides were good, I would recommend that the cornbread be heated (personal preference). In addition, there are several types of bbq sauce to choose from.The portions were generous and the prices were much lower than expected.Overall, I would recommend this place. Be sure and check their hours as they are not open for lunch everyday.

We go here quite often and Red Rock BBQ has some of the best food around. They have a great menu and offer specials often for after 3pm. I have yet to get beyond ordering the half rack of ribs, mac and cheese, baked beans and cornbread. Old habits are hard to break! Service is prompt and friendly. Folks there are always willing to strike up a conversation. Nice indoor area and outside is a patio and picnic tables set in the back yard. Great place and would highly recommend a visit...you won't be disappointed!

Would absolutely recommend this place. Best BBQ we've had in NE Pennsylvania.We ordered 2 each of the pork and beef sandwich meals. The meat was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and moist. No sauce needed. If you want sauce you have 4 choices though.The corn bread has good flavor (the only thing that would make it better is some butter and honey on top).The sides pretty good too. We tried the mac n cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, and German potato salad. The best was the baked beans. I can't pin point what was added or done to the beans but they were good.To top it off... the customer service was AWESOME! Finding good service, with a smile, seems to be far and few between.They must not do too bad here, they were busy on a Wednesday evening. Sold out of ribs, wings, and their tomato cucumber side dish. We will come back to try these some time.----Edit for a second tripWe went back hoping they'd have ribs, and they did. The ribs were probably the best ribs I've had at a BBQ restaurant. Highly recommend them and we will be back for more.Why 4 stars and not 5? Their sides are lacking. None of them really hit the spot as the "best" to us. Otherwise, this place is a solid 4.5 stars for me. The meat, the part that counts most, is awesome as is their customer service.

We enjoyed the pulled pork and slow roasted brisket meals. We had several different sides including the Mac& cheese, potato salad, coleslaw, backed bean's. Everything was very good, we will be back and hopefully they will have ribs to try next time we visit.

Stopped there on way back home on I81 afte wife saw it pop up on map quest and was so glad we did. We had their fried chicken platter and ordered smoked kilbassa as well.. The chicken was perfectly cooked and tasty and the baked beans were the best I ever had. Now just finished eating some cold left over chicken from the meal as Im writing this and it tastes just as good cold. I see a road trip in our future just to eat there again

My 1st visit to Red Rock BBQ, decided to takeout vs eating there. Tried my my go to standards of ribs and brisket. Both meats had excellent smoke flavor and the brisket held its moisture until I got home. I highly reccomend the smoked chicken wings which had a nice crispy skin yet tender wing meat.Definitely will revisit to sample more, especially the local beer selection which includes a Texas style jalapeno beer.

Stopped by this place on a whim on our way to the Wilkes Barre area and had a fantastic experience. My father ordered a flight and we all had meals. We tried the brisket, pulled pork, and fried chicken and everything was flavorful and moist. Tried the traditional and Carolina vinegar sauce and both were good and well rounded. Flight was very well rounded with diverse options, especially for such a small brewery his favorites were the IPA and the dark lager. Corn bread and sides were really good, especially the baked beans.

Amazing Barbeque, Ice Cream and quick service with a smile!!! A barbeque lover’s dreamThis place is the real deal when it comes to Barbeque, driving an hour and fourty five minutes to and from work each day, I’m always looking for great places to eat along the way. There are many barbeque places along my way and there are some very good ones, and some awful ones. This place beats them all.As the owner cut into a new piece of brisket I could see it had an amazing smoke ring and it was just as tasty as it was pretty. They heap a huge portion on a bun and serve it with your choice of 4 very different choices. I love spicy, so I opted for the Sriracha mayo and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint in both flavor and heat. Next time I need to try their Alabama white sauce.Not only is the barbeque exceptional, but the sides are also delicious. I went for the smoked mac & cheese, and their cheesy grits. I love grits and it’s nice to see a barbeque place up north serving it instead of the normal plain old sides.The owner and his employees were friendly and the service was very quick. They were also very helpful with suggesting what I might want to order since it was my first time visiting. My food was waiting for me on my table by the time I got out of my quick restroom stop.Save room for some ice cream, heck, even if you didn’t save room, you can always take a milkshake home!!!UNCLE GERRY'S TIP: Instead of slaving over a hot grill, Why not enjoy your next cookout. Let Red Rock do the cooking for you.

This was SPECTACULAR! I’m from Georgia, so I’m very picky about my BBQ, and this was absolutely amazing. We were driving from PA back to NY, and we stopped here for dinner. I had macaroni and cheese and smoked wings with their homemade BBQ sauce. My husband got potato salad and their daily special- a maple burger. The service was unbelievably quick! We didn’t realize that there was bacon in the potato salad, but everything else was so delicious. Our toddler ate his weight in cornbread, and they brought out more on the house for him! We ended up taking sauce home with us so we could continue to enjoy.

I can’t thank Red Rock enough for saving our wedding day!!!Less than a month before our wedding, our caterer ghosted us. Mary Beth and the team were SO quick to get us booked, details ironed out and stress levels lowered. Amazing communication and so personable. When September 2 came they were amazing! The women who catered & bartended for us were so nice, the food was delicious. It was everything we hoped it would be. Our only regret was not booking them in the first place! If you’re looking for delicious bbq with impeccable service, look no further!

Twenty plus hikers from Triple Cities Hiking Club descended on Red Rock B-B-Q, starved after a long hot hike. We ordered and were all served very fast and efficiently. I heard many positive comments on the food and the service. Many expressed plans to return. Their menu is extensive, ice cream unmatched! Worth the trip!
