Candles smell great. Haven’t been here in 20 years but used to come here a lot when I was a kid. Reading through the reviews and saw people complaining that inventory is outdated. They aren’t wrong but to me it was actually pretty cool to see some of the same things I saw as a kid. It was like going back in time.

Every time we travel to this area we come here, I love how they sell items from ppl in the area, I love the candles and wax melts , they also have some shea butters that smell awesome.I wish I could remember the lady's name, every time we come she's so nice and really sweet.

Loved this place, they have so many different candles and they smell great. My whole house was filled with a nice scent just from one candle. The owner was very nice and helpful. All candles are made on premises. They also do have an online store.

Love this store so many great fines. Me and my husband are from out of town and every time we are in the area this is a must for us to stop at. They make custom candles with pictures and everything! Me and my husband got one made for us for our wedding anniversary and it came out beautiful! Great owners great prices all around love!

My wife and I stopped in while we were on a weekend trip, loved the old mom and pop general store type feel you get walking in, the staff member that was there was so friendly and helpful gave us the nice back story of the candles. We love the scents they make especially the baby powder scent its so nice not over powering and the price of the candles is perfect. They even offer shipping or you can call ahead and pick up an order. Its a very big store so i understand people saying it is empty but there are ALOT of scents, candles, ornaments and lots of other knick knacks. Can't wait to make another trip out there once these run out

Great candle store! Only complaint, their sign on 209 southbound needs updating... Ended up on 80! (Straight ahead on 209, no turns) Make sure you take the turn for BUSINESS 209 if you are coming from that way, (Great place to go for a visit from Pocono Palace)

I live outside of Annapolis Maryland but we come up to the Poconos at least once a year. So I've been coming here for over 15 years just for their candles. In my opinion they are better than Yankee!!! I just left here and had a Great conversation with the owner and look forward to seeing him next time.

First, I used to order their jar candles all the time & have even visited the shop but this was 10 years ago. I have no idea how their jar candles smell anymore but I ordered their wax cubes bc I have wax warmers throughout my home & was excited bc of my experience with the jar candles. I'm so disappointed, I ordered 11 different packs & 4 if them have no smell other than old wax, the others are better but the smell doesn't last very long. I do not recommend their wax cubes! 🤢

We have a few of you Double Scented candles. One in particular is the Coffee scented. We have been burning it off and on for the last 2 months. Love the fragrance, but when it got down to the last 2 inches we were seeing that my wife and I were getting irritated eyes not knowing it was the candles fragrance the last few days. Feeling better now after not using candle. Hoping other candles do not have this affect on our eyes.

The best scented candles and incense you'll find anywhere! You name the scent and they have it. You can make your own candles here too! They have the coolest merchandise. I can see this as the place to go around the holidays. If you haven't checked it out, do so and you'll see what I'm talking about...

I love pocono candle. You find things you wouldn't expect to find there. Its not just candles, but there are a lot of homemade candles with beautiful scents. My favorite are the floating flower candles. You can float them in a wine glass or a bowl as a center piece on a table. We used them for the 16 candles at my daughter's sweet 16 and they were beautiful.

Just ordered last week amid COVID-19 and the candles are better than the premium brands. Super helpful during these times and super speedy delivery. Pricing is better than scrambling at the grocery store. Stay Safe! Go Warriors!

New owners have taken over since we were last here and then the pandemic hit. This was one of the best candle shops in the Poconos, and after talking with the new owners I think it's on its way back to being that again. Stop in and give them a chance they need your support.

I saw on a review that the place had been turned into a clothes store so I stopped by to check it out. It's still a candle shop. They have less stock it seems but they r still open and it appears like u can still get most of what u want.

This has been my favorite store for perhaps 10 yrs. always get a full box. Never tried any place else. I would make a couple of trips to poconos just for this cute place. So sad they closed- I loved standing for hours smelling their wonderful scents. Really going to miss them:(

Normally we only buy soy candles, but decided to give these regular ones a try. They smelled great in the store when not burning, the double scent makes them as strong as normal candles. We bought several different ones in different sizes. We've burned about 4 of them, NO SMELL!!! Nothing, nothing at all! We let them burn for hours, still nothing! Standing right next to them and no smell even then!! I'm pissed we bought so many for them to suck! Plus, they aren't cheap! What we paid for them was the same price we pay for the soy candles we get at a better mountain town in California and those candles aren't double scented but even the smallest votive fills a large room with wonderful smells!! I'll never buy these candles again, I'm gonna cut my losses and toss them out! Seriously, don't buy these crappy things! Order online from The Spruce Moose in Idyllwild, CA, you honestly won't be disappointed!

Not often have I gone to a candle shop to waste time on a rainy day. But this one is great. It is very touristy/souvenir-esque but has a lot of homemade and unique scents for you to try. You can also make your own candles for a few bucks.
