I used to love this pharmacy but it has gone way down hill. Do yourself a favor and transfer all your prescriptions out ASAP. I've been filling my daughter's prescriptions for months here and all the sudden they refuse to fill her prescriptions. Literally refuse. My daughter is medically fragile and had to go without her medication due to their incompetence. I transferred her prescription to Weis and all the sudden I have no problems. If you at all rely on your medication change ASAP!!

Super rude! As soon as I walked in the lady with the glasses said I have one minute to shop. At least you can say hello. She was standing by the check out with her coat on while I scanned my item. It made me uncomfortable. Now I see why they have such a low rating.

This pharmacy is crazy they tried to charge me $190 for a vaccine that’s covered in my plan.They then told my insurance they didn’t have that vaccine there, so what were they charging me for.After so many years going there I’m changing pharmacies.Be careful and double check with your insurance if they deny you.Its not your insurance plan it’s them .

Absolutely rude and dangerous pharmacist. I called in a prescription, and she refused to fill "because this cannot be prescribed this way" she insisted. I confirmed that it can be prescribed as ordered per FDA label. These are very dangerous people, I will file a complaint with the State board of Pharmacy. Repeat negative experience with this particular establishment.

Me and my Fiance were trying to pick up her meds but they told us to wait for 20. Min which we ended up waiting for.. however not to long after that they denied her meds saying her insurance wasn't working or whatever, so we ended up going to this other side in which they said they would provide more insight and help as to what the issue might be.. - although they didn't give us a plausible response as the lady look as if she dreaded her life choices and decisions like a piece of sizzled bacon that just doesn't want to be their- .. unhelpful and uncooperative and a waste of time..- they could've just flat out told us from the get go about our insurance problem instead of having to make us wait 20-30 minutes.. they seem to have this on going issue in terms of dealing with medications in this pharmacy.. they seem petty I can't explain it but they just do in some ways and convey that nasty vibe towards other'sAnd I Don't like having my time wasted .. no wonder this place is such a low rating I hope they tear it down or something(not to mention on the outside it looks like a zombie apocalypse straight out of a movie with it's vacant lot)

The woman who works at the pharmacy filled the wrong prescription that I have labeled in my file I’m allergic to, proceeded to argue with me about the situation. She stated the script did not say that when I was looking at the script as she was talking to me which showed the prescription I needed. Told me it’s the drs issue not hers, mind you I’ve had the regular prescription filled for a year prior. She answered the phone annoyed someone was calling, which was immediately off putting. This is an allergy someone has and she didn’t want to be bothered. I had it switched to another pharmacy and no issues getting the correct medication filled. I’m blown away with all the reviews she’s still employed. I called corporate to file a complaint, no one should be treated that way with a medication that is necessary daily or in general. She should not be working directly with people, I had another issue with her months ago stating my son didn’t have insurance when he did. He was on state insurance and easy to find in the system, once again had to bring it another pharmacy with no issues on their end. She could not be bothered to do the bare minimum for her position. Do not use this pharmacy.

CVS on 9th Street has Terrible Customer Service by the “Pharmacist “ I’m so exhausted with their uncooperative customer service they can’t answer why my prescription is pulled Then say there Never was a script and after MD resends script say it’s Not here and refuses to call Dr office saying it’s not an issue at CVS🤦🏻♀️

Sone of the women who work here are super rude and lazy. Won't give me my prescriptions just because my Dr who is Russian doesn't give perfect English directions on how the medicine should be taken so I'm always getting my medicine super late. The pharmacist Melissa is she is the pharmacist is always rude and has a nasty attitude no matter how nice we are or time of day it is. She really needs to be fired. I have held back on getting my prescriptions to ensure I don't get her either on the phone or in store service.

Useless. Went to pick up photos in morning when I was told they would be ready. I was told they wouldn't be ready till afternoon when other employee gets there as "she's the one who does prints". It's a photo machine and you work there you should know how to work it !! Also no apology. Piss poor service.

What else could you want from a pharmacy? Good prescription services, convenient shopping for all the necessities, I especially enjoy shopping here for the holidays because they usually feature special treats that make good gifts for both adults and children. My trip to CVS was amazing! I had several online coupons which allowed me to save more than half of my order. Additionally , the team member at the register was very efficient, kind and I was quickly checked out!

Wow. Never in my life have I met more DISRESPECTFUL staff! I live up the mountain in Bushkill but my daughters (who’s 8 months) pediatrician was totally booked today and I went to urgent care for a BAD rash she had. They prescribed cream. I go to the pharmacy and first they say it needs prior authorization or it’s like $300. Ok np problem, I call urgent care back and they put the script in a way it will be covered. I get back and the same lady that had helped me helps me again, she explains they have a tony of customers and it’s going to be a long wait. Ok, no problem. The wait isn’t my issue the ATTITUDE of the staff was my ISSUE! Nasty. Like they were SOOOO inconvenienced when I asked if I could just pay out of pocket instead of waiting and use a good RX coupon well she got all annoyed and said I’ll still have to wait until the pharmacists puts it in the que. unreal!! I live almost an hour away. VERY RUDE STAFF! I will NEVER be coming here again! Unreal.

This pharmacy takes forever to fill scrips. They do not start to fill, until you are standing in front of them. They also do not pick up their phone, even after an hour of being on hold. Then, they have the rudest staff. They act like they do not care whether someone has their medications. Something needs to be done about this Pharmacy. Have been coming here for over 20 years, and have seen customer service go way down. Use to have great staff, now not at all. Now they have their drive through completely closed. Do they even care about the disabled, elderly, etc. Apparently not. Shameful

No wonder this place have 2 star rating, got a text saying my prescription is ready for pickup. Got there and pharmacy is closed and they told me to come back in 30 minutes. If that’s the case then don’t text me to come pick up my prescription. Wasting time and money.

Pharmacy is inefficient, inconsiderate, and disorganized. My sister had surgery early in the morning, prescriptions were sent there immediately and upon trying to pick them up they said it would be 2 hours from then. We were understanding of this. But when I returned over 2 hours later they said they didn’t have prescriptions for her and “they had just come through the system” which clearly was a lie since we had stopped there already that morning. They said it would be another hour to have them filled. There was no flexibility on their end from their screw up. Pharmacist refused to come talk to me about the issue. Would not recommend and after seeing all these other reviews will not ever return.

I dropped off my son’s prescriptions (3) at 4:00 - 4:20pm. I was told it would be ready in about 30 mins or so, so my son and I waited. My son was in the car suffering from a severe asthma attack and needed the prescriptions ASAP. I checked on the status around 5:30pm and was told that there was still a wait of about 30-40 mins. I made the pharmacist aware of his condition and urged them to try and get his medications filled sooner - but was told no. I ended up taking him home and treating him with what I had there which didn’t help. I never received a call or text stating the prescriptions were ready so I went back to the pharmacy around 7:30pm and they close at 9. I inquired again but only 2/3 were ready. The third one the pharmacist forgot to mix and when she went go get the components she realized she didn’t have enough - and this was the main medication he needed to control his wheezing. He was only given enough for maybe 2 of 5 days plus I had to pay out of pocket for the partial amount. I asked when I can come back and the rest and was told I can try another location. So now I have to hunt down a location that can dispense the rest of the medication without a problem. Completely dissatisfied with this location.

Most incompetent pharmacy I’ve ever been to! Stopped at the pharmacy at 12:30 to pick up my daughters prescription that was sent in at 11:30 and was told she wasn’t even in their system. I parked in their parking lot to call the doctor but as I was doing that they called me and said oh we found her give us 30 mins and it will be ready so I said that’s fine. I went home and sent my husband to pick up the prescription when he got out of work at 5:30 and they told him it wouldn’t be ready for 30 minutes when it had already been 5 hours from the time they originally told me 30 minutes. At 6:30 the prescription was finally ready but the tech and pharmacist had a conversation about how it had spilled and the other person said no it was just lost. Then when they finally had it for us they were annoyed they had to enter the insurance information. Seriously never go to this pharmacy I have an issue with them every single time I’ve gone there including them loudly discussing my personal medical information in front of a line of people. If my actual pharmacy wasn’t so far away I would never go to this CVS again. From now on I’ll just go to Walgreens down the street and pay full price for the medication.

Have had multiple problems with this store. Staff is rude andcondescending. Manager has no control over staff. They treat you like they are doing you a favor to just do their job at minimal levelrequired. Have left this location and moved to another. It's like night and day. Other location staff is cheerful, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. I don't know what the problem at Ninth St is, but it reflects badly on CVS, corporate needs to know!!!!

Customer service was lacking at this location.I asked a cashier about Halloween products being on sale. She told me I don’t know I wasn’t told anything. The aisles were cluttered by seasonal. A lot of product was unattended waiting to be stocked in the aisle. A simple request to use the restroom was denied. I was told I’m sorry it’s a mess anyway. Thanks for nothing CVS. I Was not at all satisfied

This pharmacy department is not helpful at all. If you don't use their drive-thru, prepared to wait for a while inside. My prescription was sent to this CVS to be fulfill. I never gotten a response when the prescription was supposed to be ready for over a week. I decided to go in person to CVS. The worker at the counter said “Your prescription was on hold because of my insurance didn't cover it." I called my insurance Medco and they said it is cover. I went back to CVS and gave my insurance information again. They said It could only be fulfill in NYC, since I work for the City of New York. I called my insurance company again, my insurance company said CVS is not correct in stating that I can only filled it in NYC. They said "CVS is a network pharmacy and therefore I am able to get it fulfill in Stroudsburg." The insurance gave me an 800 help line for the CVS to call to resolve my problem. I went back to CVS and told them what my insurance said. CVS personal said, NO, I AM NOT GOING TO CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY. They said "have my insurance company to call them instead." This CVS doesn't pick the phone calls that quick. They hope you get tired of waiting and hang up. Worse place to get your prescription filled. From now on, I will use the insurance direct mail order service.

Absolutely horrible. They tell you your script will be ready, it’s not or out of stock, and they don’t bother to call. This can be so dangerous for individuals with LIFE SUSTAINING MEDICATION. Melissa is slower than could be and refers customers to giant pharmacy and whoever was working pick ups at 3 pm with the black hair and tattoos from the tannersville store has a major attitude problem and actually called out to the other techs to say “hey guys I need to leave soon” and then “I’m never coming back here”. They do not make any move to answer the phone and at one point had 6 people on hold. These people so unprofessional it’s crazy. Lady from the pickup counter came back off to drop off to help us after referring us there and letting us stand for 15 minutes. They have lines as long as the aisles consistently and continually turn people away after having them wait forever in line. At least the cashier in the front of the store Arianna was super pleasant.

My 2 year old son has a really bad cough to the point of wheezing... went to the doctors at 10am - prescription was sent over around 11am - it is now 5:30pm and it's still not ready. I called to speak with the pharmacist to get an update around 3:30pm and waited on hold for almost an hour. It made me calling the front store to ask to speak with a manager before the pharmacist actually answered. She was rude and told me she couldn't promise it'd be ready before 7pm (the time the close). It's like these people have zero sense of ergency. Time for us to find a different pharmacy to use after this.

Basically what the other reviewers have said the pharmacist and technicians were very rude and inconsiderate with my problems. An example, when dealing with one of my issues the pharmacist said “ I don’t have time to deal with this” and just hung up. Mind you I wasn’t yelling or getting angry. All I said was I’m not to sure how to fix this or what to do.Best bet for all individuals using the pharmacy stay away and use the other places just down the road from it. It will save you from a lot of stress and head aches

Poorly managed pharmacy. Was discharged from hospital previous afternoon. When I didn’t hear prescriptions were ready I went inside to find out they hadn’t even begun to process the request that was sent over 24 hours prior. Was told it would be several hours before it was ready and it was just 1 common prescription. Unacceptable. I have to use CVS because of insurance, but I won’t be using this one again. Moving all of my prescriptions to another one.

Pharmacy staff is absolutely terrible. I have never ever seen any technician treat every client they see as badly as the staff in Stroudsburg. It was literally every person that came to the pharmacy counter. They’re entire job is helping people and answering questions yet they get angry, annoyed, and have an attitude when you ask anything. If you go in there with a smile you’ll certainly have your day ruined by the horrendous pharmacy staff. Not even sure why they’re still hired. Oh, and forget about calling them on the phone, you’ll be put on hold for 30 minutes just to get yelled at. I wish I could give 0 stars.

My aunt is the one leaving this review although I witnessed it all- would be zero stars if at all possible! Today i tried to call in my meds and pharmacist answered, i was consistently interrupted to the point i couldnt get a single word out and she began getting irritated at my trying to. Then she became rude and started yelling over the phone and even became volger. At that point she said she didnt have the time to talk at all and hung up on me. I called back and she picked up again and i politley tried once more. She wasnt having it. I warned her id be calling corporate and she said go ahead and hung up on me. Sad to say my meds are there and im uncomfortable dealing with the pharmacist “KIERA” All at the same time. Stay away from this branch. Pharmacy staff does some very shady things there such as stealing a pill or two from peoples prescriptions. Nice to see others have left reviews on KIERA

They hide their identity because they know they are rude and disrespectful.If I could give zero stars I would!!! I went to this pharmacy and greeted the pharmacy technician who just stared at me and did not respond. I proceeded to ask about COVID testing and she constantly shrug her shoulders and told me to go online because she doesn't know anything. I told her that I had gone online but had specific questions because my COVID test is for a specific use. She abruptly said I can't help you and walked away.I asked for her name and she said she's not giving me any information. The pharmacist who gave her name as Kiera, who is supposedly her supervisor, was even more rude when I asked for the first woman's name. Then a third woman got into the matter saying that they are not allowed to give out names of workers. Still, the shift manager who gave his name as D'Angelo said that he would not name the women, and that information is available on the schedule if management needs to take action.Kiera and her peers who worked on 12/12/20 around 4:30 pm should not be handling people's prescriptions, in my opinion. They are rude and abrasive. The first worker yelled at me as I left the pharmacy that I should "go and complain at 1-800-cvs."

I can’t believe I have to put a review because of how rude the pharmacist lady was to me on the phone.Received a text that my insurance wasn’t covered so they were calling the doctor for a replacement. I called the pharmacy to ask them to please hold off on that I wanted to call my insurance to see if I could get it covered. I asked them if they saw the prescription that needed prior authorization and she said she only sees the medicine but she can’t see what it needs. She continued to say the same thing even after I said that I received a text with that information was there a way to look it up. So she doesn’t know if the one she has is the replacement or the original and she doesn’t know if it needs anything for me to get it.I’m actually really upset!
