This Target is one of two locations in State College. The store is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and willing to help. The Starbucks is located right at the front entrance. And there are multiple self-check-out lanes, which is convenient. Plus, there is a really nice Magnolia section.

I keep reading the reviews from 2 months ago where the store looks pristine, but it's horrible looking now. Did everyone who works in clothing quit? There's clothes all over the floor to the point that it's hard to walk down the isles and the store is just gross. C'mon Target, clean it up!

Typical Target experience. I've never understood the appeal of Target, and this location is just more of the same. If you are one of those people that love Target I'm sure you will love this location as well.

On 10/19/2022 I was check out by an older women, I believe her name was Mary, and she was such a joy to interact with. She made the rest of my day brighter in these crazy times. Pic related, it's the backpack I bought.

Lucas was outstanding at the front desk as we were dealing with some issues with our Target app. He is filled with patience, compassion and empathy and assured us that we got all of our back to school discounts.

It is ridiculous that there were no cash registers run by a human open, only self-checkout was available. It is unacceptable to expect all customers to be able to properly handle the checkout procedure without the aid of an employee. Additionally, the asset protection employee was standing right by the self-checkout staring intensely as if I had done something wrong. I don't appreciate being implicated and treated as a shop-lifter when I did nothing wrong. This did not provide the customer experience that Target is aiming for and will make me reconsider future trips to this store.

Had to return a cell phone they forgot to scan it before it was shipped to me so it wouldn't take the serial number and you have to have that number in the system to work. they were very helpful and nice about it so I returned the phone and bought another one.

Target has nearly everything you might need. It is an overwhelming experience, though. And it always seems that something ends up in your cart that you really don't need but are enticed to get.

Unorganized. Came in Saturday to pick up a headset but the only person with the key was in the back trying to get a TV they couldn’t get. Then she walked away without helping anyone. Piss poor

The only regular checkout closed just when I got in line. The self checkout line was long. There should have been more registers open since it was the Friday before Easter.The ladies room was an awful mess. Toilet paper all over the stall floors. I was afraid to step anywhere. One toilet was clogged. Only one soap dispenser had any soap.I was looking for a pair of black dress pants to wear to a funeral, and there was hardly any women's clothing. I got a pair next door at Kohl's.

The store is always clean, the employees are welcoming and helpful, and the site to store pickup process always goes smoothly. Honestly, there's no reason to shop on Amazon anymore when Amazon Prime takes a week and Target takes 2 hours for items available in-store and 3 days for shipping to your house.

If you are looking for fresh produce then shop somewhere else. The store is great and the staff is friendly from my experience as a gig worker. They do have food but I don't know why they are offering produce to customers ordering on apps when they don't carry it.

Great selection of products that are constantly changing throughout each season. Their In-Store Starbucks ALWAYS make outstanding Starbucks Beverages. Usually VERY fast, too. Target is always busy, but hey, that means it's an AWESOME store! It's great to see that they're cleaning the Carts, Baskets, and Self-Checkouts after each use.

My friend and I stopped in. We are from out of town. How embarrassing is your store clothes all over the floors in every department. The clothing racks were a wreck. A lot of empty shelves. It was a hot mess. The bathrooms were filthy. I understand that stores are short staffed but that is ridiculous. I will not be back to that store again

I love shopping at Target, especially this location! The store is clean and pleasant, items are well organized and easy to find, and the employees are mostly very kind and helpful. Target has had a major comeback over the years and it is a great store at this point. Cheap prices and quality products, especially from their own brands!

Target always has very good prices and selection. The store is always very well organized and clean. The employees; helpful and friendly. My experience today was less than. The shelves were wiped out; no toilet paper, chips, snacks and bottled tea. This could be due to Covid as many stores are having trouble keeping goods on shelves. Still 5-Stars as this was not my usual Target experience.

Ordered some dishware as through app for pickup. App was easy to use, gave me my options, and checkout was easy. You get to choose in store pickup or curbside but you can change your method at anytime which is something I've not seen in others apps. The quickness, convenience,and ease make this and any orders with Target super easy and a completely hassle free experience. Keep up the good work Target.

Store is clean, items are easy to find and the employees are kind and helpful. I have been shopping at this location since 2007 and have never had a bad experience with customer service while doing returns, exchanges or getting help with other issues.

My experience was with the customer service desk. I had a return/exchange I wanted to do and the girl helping me seemed to be a new employee. I had an online order that I wanted to exchange for another top. The cost did not match the tag, as it was on sale. The girl helping me did not notice until I said something. I wanted to exchange the old top for w different one, which apparently cannot be done unless it’s the same exact item of clothing. The girl did not know what to do once this happened. When she asked for help, she was ignored by her coworker and it further flustered the girl. I then felt extremely uncomfortable because 1.) the girl didn’t know what she was doing 2.) there was obvious tension between the employees 3.) I was not being understood or helped at all.I ended up settling and agreeing do an exact exchange for a shirt I did not want (I got a different color) and walked out of the store leaving behind the top I actually wanted. The girl was unhelpful and appeared to not care how to fix the problem and was okay with me sacrificing my satisfaction to leave her alone.I never leave target unsatisfied but yesterday, I was extremely disappointed in the way the matter was handled.

I had two coupons that I wanted to apply to one large dollar item. Only one coupon was applied at the register as it was overriding the higher coupon. Associate at Customer Service Desk voided the original purchase and re-rang so that the coupon with the higher credit applied. She returned the other coupon to me so that I could use it on another purchase. She was patient, understanding and had a great sense of humor. Great customer service!

Target's prices can be a bit hit and miss, but I'm careful to compare to other stores if I'm looking at an identical product to what I could purchase elsewhere. Sometimes when it's just one or two things, it's worth paying for the atmosphere, which is nicer than most get-it-all stops.In terms of quality, I'm normally thrilled with what I find at Target-- store brands, food items, holiday decor, home decor, gift items, and kids' toys are all a nice selection of items I'm very pleased with. I'm also a big clearance shopper at Target, particularly after a holiday!Ordering online to pick up in store is often very convenient, especially if I need something specific and am crunched for time.I haven't done much yet with Cartwheel, but I hear it offers great prices. I have used the app a bit for finding items in the physical store-- it's not flawless, but it's been helpful for getting to the right general area for most things.

Wow, first time ever in all of the years of shopping at Target, the check out person was rude and very short with me. I asked her a question about the Circle Offers and she very tersely replied "What?", to indicate she didnt know what I was talking about. I mentioned that I was asking about the CIrcle Offers and she then said "I dont know anything about that."I checked out and later learned that, had she known what she was talking about and had she been patient with me the Circle Offer was $10 off my purchase. Made me angry. I work hard for my $10. It definitely tarnished Target's rep.

Love this store! Target offers a great alternative to Walmart, slightly better quality for a tiny bit more cash....worth it to me as I dislike Walmart on principle. :) I'm amazed at how much they pack into this particular store. It never feels crowded though, and is always clean.

Horrible customer service. I went online to check if the heater was ready for pick-up. It was. I added my husband as an alternative pick-up person. I sent him to Target after work to pick up the printer. When he went to customer service, they said that they could not find his name nor my name. He asked them to go in the back and look because it was ready for pick-up. They refused. He came home and told me what they had said.I called Target and asked what was going on. The person on the phone looked up our order and said both of our names were on the order and that it was ready for pick-up. I sent my husband back after we ate dinner to get the heater. The service desk once again told him that the order did not exist. He told them that I had called, and they refused to go into the back to check for the order. He told them he was not leaving until they went and checked. They checked and the heater was in the back.My husband asked to talk to the manager because this was ridiculous that he had so many problems. The manager told him that he has his item and should just be happy and go home.The WORST customer service. This is the second time I've had this issue at this Target. The first time I was understanding. Now I'm not. I'm just going to order my stuff from Amazon from now on and tell other people to do the same. If the manager had cared at all, maybe that wouldn't be the case.Updated: The manager contacted me. The person I talked to was NOT the manager and is looking into identifying this person. Much better feeling about Target in general.
