A State College staple. Been coming here for years and every time it feels like you're stepping back in time. Love the recyclable glass bottles for their milks!If you're stopping in, you have to get their ice cream! It's the best! So many flavors and all taste incredible. Their milkshakes are great, too! It's absolutely worth coming here - especially to beat the crowd from The Creamery.

Meyer dairy is a state college staple! They have the best chocolate milk, regular milk, and ice cream in town. Anytime we are in state college, I must stop for a scoop of white house or black raspberry.

Delicious ice cream (their own) with some indoor seating. Also an array of dairy products for sale. Plenty of parking. Restrooms available inside.Small cones/cups are 2 scoops/flavors and are ample portions (small is currently $4.25 plus tax).

Delicious milkshakes and ice cream. Definitely better than the creamery. Only complaint was that their lemon custard wasn't super lemon-y.

This is a little gem of a creamery. I tend to spread the love around between all of the local creameries (Reedsville, Old Mill, Meyers), which we are so lucky to have so many, but Meyers is my main love. It's been around since I can remember, and no other creamery has better chocolate milk, NONE. Ice cream is top-notch as well. They carry other fun, locally sourced goods as well, like Cafe Lemont coffee (best local coffee, IMO) and Otto's soda, among other things. Stop in. Get a scoop (or a shake). Do some shopping. You won't be disappointed.

If you have not been there in a while it is worth another visit. They have done some renovating and "modernizing". It's still quaint, country, and farm market-like but they have cleaned things up a bit. And YES, they do accept credit cards.Great place to take a family for an informal small town ice cream vibe. Indoor seating and outdoor seating RIGHT NEXT TO THE COWS! Kids will love. Their Grape Nut ice cream is a flavor that i have not found anywhere else and worth trying...

Old school ice cream served fresh from the dairy! Had the grape nuts ice cream and it was interesting in texture and delicious. Super big portions for cheap. Must experience for yourself. Bonus old timey horse drawn carriage in dining area.

I hadn't been to Meyer Dairy in over 20 years since I attended PSU. I loved it when I was a student, but I wasn't sure if it was going to be the same over two decades later. Myers did not disappoint. They still offer their awesome chocolate milk in the iconic glass containers, and the ice cream was just as good as I had remembered. I ordered a small cone and what I received would have been a large from any other store. The interior has been updated but in a way that the charm has not been lost. Most visitors to the area make it a point to stop at the on campus ice cream location, but I highly recommend you do yourself a favor and stop at Meijer as well and do your own taste comparison. You can thank me later.

Excellent, and not just because I worked there decades ago. Great dairy products, still my go-to place to buy maple syrup and I don't even live in the state anymore! The ice cream is not as rich as the Creamery so while the chocolates and vanilla are still excellent the real stars are the fruity ice creams - the lemon custard and black raspberry are my personal recommendations, especially combined.

Very disappointing. Always stop for a milkshake after a wrestling match and tonight they weren't making shakes because they only had 2 people working. Then they were out of several flavors.

Excellent ice cream but a bit pricey. $5 for a single/small cone, but they give you a large portion. Only two sizes available in cones.I tried the oreo and it was like the version I get at a dairy farm I grew up by and don't see anywhere else. I was impressed, however it was very hard and didn't conform to the cone... and fell out. So be careful.I went again and had the caramel. It was perfect- not solid hard, refreshing because it was melting and REAL ice cream, and the flavor was outstanding.

Fun place to stop and get really good thick ice cream. If I lived closer I would try there fresh milk. I bring my aunt and mom and they enjoy the atmosphere a lot.

Cool local ice cream shop. There Ice Creams are mostly that…”creamy.” Would have preferred their chocolate and peanut butter have “chunks” of peanut butter instead of “creamy”.

Absolutely great local place to get ice cream, but also great for local dairy milk and they always have great choices!! Definitely a pretty busy place, but 110% worth the wait if you go at busy times. Indoor seating is available as well as some outdoor sitting at surrounding picnic tables. Service is great as well! Everyone is very kind and respectful. Make sure you ask to try some different flavors while you're there to help you decide, all the ice cream is made locally as well, and they are all very flavorful! If you're a fan of teaberry flavored ice cream theirs is a MUST TRY!
