We got our floors and floor installation from Lowes. They really encourage their installation and advertise it, so we went with it. However the installers installed the subfloor incorrectly and the screws or staples are coming through our floor enough that it cracks and bows. We have reached out multiple times at different levels of command to ask that we get the floors fixed but we were denied because we were past one year. Our floors have not even hit 2 years yet and they look like the attached picture all over. Where I frequently tread in the kitchen a floor board broke and even cut my foot. Aside from the horrible installation the customer service of getting our order in was terrible and there were pieces missing or items ordered wrong. We had to triple check everything and try to explain to many different parties what was wrong before they would fix our order. I would never recommend them just off the customer service let alone our several thousand dollar floor didn’t last longer then 2 years.

Customer services had declined dramatically. After 30 years of shopping there, we have had no choice except to switch to Home Depot. No one at Lowe's stores to wait on you, and no one who answers the phone. Used to love Lowe's, but can no longer tolerate the frustration of trying to deal with them!

I read a business article today about Lowes sales being down. The one reason that WAS NOT MENTIONED is their conversion to self check out only. Despite their stock of many items I use, I will not shop there and have not for over a year now.

Store employees are more interested in what is going on with their phones than helping a customer. I attempted to ask a employee a question about a product and was told by that employee to wait while he finished his texting! Lowe's keeps saying "Customer service is our priority" but there is no evidence of this. Product on the shelves are covered with dust and dirt. I will not purchase any product that is dirty. Signs should be in English only!

Will never go to lowes. Bought a craftsman table saw and less than 90 days motor burnt up and was treated like a criminal trying to get replacement and I had my proof of purchase. There customer service team act like the return was coming out of there pocket.

Weeks ago paid for same day delivery. Didn't happen. Was told would receive a call to sort out. That didn't happen. Placed another order for pick up. No one showed for me to pick up in parking lot 2 times. Placed 3 rd order for same day delivery. Never came. Called to ask where my order was the following day. I was told that their driver never showed so they just cancelled my order. You can't make this up. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Could not find a associate to help on the floor for 25 mins then when I did was told not my area and they walked away it was a question about the item location not anything technical very upset don't know why anyone would shop here

I would not recommend getting flooring installation from Lowes, they hire out to low quality installers and then only warranty for one year. The floors I paid $7000 for have already started coming up just over a year and half after installation due to poor installation and Lowes says its not their problem. I will be building a new home soon and Lowes and their installers won't be getting any of my business.Edit: Tried calling the number in the response from the owner just to give it one last chance and of course no luck. We were given the run around and put on hold while the person we were talking to "got their manager". We sat on hold for 30 minutes before being kicked back to another associate starting the process all over. If you get anything installed from Lowes don't expect it to last more than 1 year after which they won't be any help and you'll be left to fix it yourself or pay someone else to fix it for you.

Customer service at Lowe's has really went downhill in The last 5 years. I was looking for a replacement bulb for refrigerator. I asked an employee and he just pointed . I went across the street to the home Depot.

Ordered and paid for a dog fence in September. Dec 28th the fence was “completed.” The keyed locks on the gates don’t lock and the one gate came with a 9” HOLE. Contractor was useless, went through customer service 3 weeks ago and not even an email response. Still waiting…

Very unpleasant experience at Costumer service desk with Dom and JoAnn. Very ignorant when I called up early to make sure I could return something and talked to front supervisor Ryan who said I could. and then was rudely, told no I couldn’t return and to call customer service….. will be canceling personal and business accounts! Not the first time having a bad experience with Joann.

This is the second time in less than a year we were extremely disappointed with Lowe’s, their on line ordering and installation services. Most recently spoke with someone in customer (dis)service at corporate level. Was told someone would be in touch within 24 hours. It has been 96 plus and not a peep.

I love Lowes there stuff is great and they never give me a hard time except the short haired skinny lady at the state college pa16801 she runs the power tool section not only does she know nothing about the tools buy her advise sucks and she is the rudest person should lose her job hands down rudest employee I ever met between Lowes home depot and true value Luke I font even get my stuff when she's there. She is a black eye for the company. Just the other day during a sale I asked her something about drill bits she was so rude I went paid $5 more. Somewhere else. But I live the store otherwise

No cashiers! Only option is self check and employees standing around. Doesn't matter time of day or day of week. Ridiculous! Should give discount for not supplying cashiers. And be prepared to wait, if you need help with anything.

Anytime I go here. The "pros" there always give me the same answer "idk that's not my department" I cycled through 6 employees trying to get help one day for a filter for my Water system that they unfortunately only sell that lowes. After the first guy, they all said the same thing " Larry will know" turns out Larry was the first guy I talked to and he kinda reminded me of the crypt keeper and had given me the 1000 yard stare cause he was 97 years old and gave me the answer of "no idk know" and just walked off. Zero help. Had to figure everything out thru Google.

We couldn’t get anyone to help us in the appliance department tonight. We rang for assistance and even had an employee page for someone, but nothing. We intended to purchase a new washer and dryer set (they do have a better selection than most places) but we will just order it from Mike’s where we can actually get someone to take our money 🤷🏼‍♀️

The worst experience I ever had, I order a dishwasher and microwave at the state college pa, and had to wait over 30 days to get them installed, and when the technician got home he wasn’t prepared with the parts needed. I end up going to the store and I request a refund, the manager didn’t do much to help me, after all the hassle we said he was going to try to refund the money within an hour, I didn’t get anything and called the next day and they have me on hold for almost an hour, called from another phone and they finally but the assistant on the phone and he says my refund is at the store in cash, I told him I need the refund back on my card and he says there’s nothing he can do to help, this is the worst customer service I experienced, I don’t recommend Lowe’s specifically if you are a person of color.

It's Lowes, they don't understand how customer service works. I was able to walk an entire loop without any employees asking me if I needed something. (I was only in there because there competition didn't have an item I needed- in comparison the competition had greeted me and helped find items about 15 different people. And then apologized when they couldn't find- I only needed help from 1 ) they get 2 stars because they had what I needed. If the store managers are such morale destroying people, they should be replaced with people who bring in good vibes that also rolls down hill

I recently went to Lowe's to purchase something. To my surprise, they completely removed all cashiers. As I was trying to cash out there was an error with a barcode. I stood there for 5 minutes in frustration and finally just left. Thankfully Home Depot had what I was looking for and it was less expensive. With the removal of all customer care employees, what's in it for the customer? I will no longer shop at Lowe's. What a shame.

This time I had a really good experience at Lowe's. I needed to get a new Window blind for my living room called 1st and talked to Andrew he was very helpful And said he would hold the blind for me. When I got there he had the blind ready and he explained all the warranties to me and the return policy for Lowe's. I was in-and-out and less than 5 minutes and it was a good trip.

Disgusting when you walk past a Lowe's Assistant that can't help and tells an honored citizen (77+) to "go online." I'm 40 and can find it difficult to navigate many bs online portals. Lowe's isn't alone in this. I just find it disrespectful, greedy and predatory. Especially after the man asked if he would get his military discount online and was told "no." Taking my business elsewhere.

We had a great experience! I wasn't sure what to expect based on other reviews and availability of products these days. We had a great guy, Les, at the State College store who helped us with the purchase of a gas range that was in stock at the store. I was told that I would get a call about the install in 3 days and I did. Although the person at CRST was a little hard to understand, the person was accurate and professional. There was a problem with communication the day before we were to be installed due to power being off, when I called CRST right away they day we were supposed to be installed, I found out the installer was on the way. He was local and did a GREAT job! It took him a little over an hour to install and test our stove and give us information about it. I would easily give him 5 stars and I gave him a big tip. However, I only give 4 stars overall because when I called Customer Service at the store the night before after hearing nothing. I dialed about 10 times with no answer. I had a problem when I tried calling the installation service as well the night before since I hadn't heard. The installation phone line shut down at 7 pm! That is too early. Please think about better phone contact or online contact.

Curbside pickup is nonexistent. 2x check in at curbside and 2x no one shows. Go in- give order number and walk out lugging a 9x 12 rug and second time a pressure washer. No thank you any more
