I was very impressed with Skippack Animal Hospital the moment I brought my cat in the door. From the receptionist, to the Vet Tech, to the Veterinarian, everyone was extremely nice, accommodating, understanding and calming. I never felt rushed and was always asked if I had any more questions. I know my kit was stressed about the visit as was I, but they worked efficiently and effectively to examine him. The "check-out" in the exam room was also a nice touch to reduce any unwanted pet interactions in the lobby. Overall, I was very pleased with the entire experience and would recommend any pet owner to them!

My 9 week old puppy Mia had a great experience at Skippack Veterinary Hospital.Everyone was thorough with her examination and she received 2 shots and not a whimper.I’m very happy with the care she is receiving.

Our pup had a severe allergic reaction with hives & fever. Called sane morning and was able to drop her off for immediate treatment. Detailed follow up meds and instructions provided. Pup is on the mend!

They have a genuinely caring staff who are very knowledgeable of the latest vet medical practices. I felt very comfortable they had a broad knowledge of treatments to help and you can’t ask for more. Well, I even asked them for their opinion on things I heard or read thru research and they were open to discussing those things as well.All around great experience with them so far!

I usually only right good and positive reviews. Having said that I felt I needed to share our experience with Skippack Animal Hospital. I feel if I do not it is a disservice to our precious cat and the suffering we sent through. We suffered with her and it broke our hearts. Also, feel the that by sharing this hopefully we can stop someone else from suffering and eventually losing their precious pet.This is our experience and feeling of what we all suffered. We were an established client of Skippack Animal Hospital when the worst happens our precious cat became ill. It should have been a clue when we tried to make an appointment with our vet, we were told come by leave the cat and when we can we will get to her. We would not do that to a human in distress who can speak let alone an animal who cannot communicate. I can only imagen what condition our cat would have been in when we picked her if even anyone would have looked at her.On the day of our appointment hours later we are told all is fine here are antibiotics go home it is a UTI on a Friday. Of course, we are really relived and paid big dollars. This was during Covid and we could not go in with her. Not sure why vets have not use telehealth.Called on Monday to be told the vet is busy cannot talk to us will call back. Our precious is in distress still and not eating. For a whole week we called to be told over and over again vet is busy no one available to speak with us. Found out the vet was on vacation and then we are told to go somewhere else. All this time our precious cat is slipping away and two additional emergency visits since Skippack Animal Hospital was too BUSY to speak with an established client. Our friend a vet stepped and told us get her off the antibiotics side effect not eating which we were never told from Skippack Animal Hospital.I could keep going with the story hopefully by now you get the there was zero caring or companion from a vet that we had been seeing for years. The vet also muzzled we found out later. If you cannot FEEL caring for animals, please do not be a vet. Being a vet is not only about money. Run do not walk away from Skippack Animal Hospital before your precious pet suffers and eventually passed away from lack of care.Found out from a friend same thing happened to them and by the time the vet finally woke up the dog was not going to make it.Please read all the one star reviews!!!

I LOVE Skippack Animal Hospital. I read the reviews one day and was shocked that so many people have had bad experiences. Doctors Kelly and Martell have both been wonderful with my pets (two dogs, one cat), and Emily at the front desk is equally wonderful. I always recommend them to people looking for a vet and will continue to do so!

if i could leave less of 1 STAR review i would! the worst Vet office, I've ever been to and i own 8 cats and do TNR . They are unprofessional and irresponsible. It’s all about money , testing and appointments. my pet has been treated by them for glacoma and her visit made them change her drops due to her pressure in both eyes being so high. i saw them 10 days prior and they not only questioned me on going through the meds to quickly but also gave me the run around w refilling the meds . first it was let me checked the dr when I told them I was just there two weeks ago and she has a scheduled pressure check f/u in a week, then it was the refill was submitted to late by them so i can’t pick it up now till the next day since it’s not ready. I then ask them if I can pick it up as they said it would be ready and refilled the next day (mind you now my pet has been with out this medication for 2 days now) and then they tell me it didn’t come in with their delivery and they will let me know when it does come in!? someone’s lying with first it’s refilled and ready to now, then we don’t have it?! yet they tell me her eye pressure is above 100 in both eyes and how important it is to get her drops you think they would have overnighted or got it from another vet for her!? and gave them the replacement when it did come in. Does that sound like a compassionate vet that cares about their animals well being!? If it were just something minor I'd not be making this review but if anyone has a pet suffering from/with glacoma, they know how extremely painful it is for the animal. they obviously don’t care about your pets well being! and their customer service sucks! Go to Steinbeck vet, Harleysville vet or NorthPen Animal hospital! this place is horrible. never coming back here again and i live around the corner! I can speak very highly of the other 3 vets. I only went here since it was around the corner and what a mistake that was.

After my first visit i will definitely be back for the rest of my veterinary needs. My 20 year old cat is sometimes a nightmare to take to the vet. But this was undoubtedly the easiest vet visit I've ever had to make. Couldn't have been better really.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Martell and the incredible staff at Skippack animal hospital. They go above and beyond for all the pets I have brought through with my rescue. The type of medicine they practice is advanced and I put full faith bringing our dogs here. They have helped with well over 50 dogs and counting and they are a huge part as to why our dogs are so healthy. From dentals, spay, neuters, mass removals, allergy work ups, they truly do it all and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their pricing is also very affordable. Dr. Martell is incredibly accommodating with getting our dogs in for visits and truly cares as if her patients are her own pets. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Tonight was our first night visiting this office. I went in with a sick guinea pig. The staff were incredibly sweet and caring and they took great care of her. She may be a pirate piggy on Friday but that’s ok! :)

Skippack is without a doubt the best vet clinic I've found in the past 20 years in this area. Dr. Martell is so kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly cares about her clients and their pets. The staff is always kind and accommodating. The clinic is clean and efficient. Their hydrotherapy water treadmill initially drew me to this clinic for my dog's rehabilitation and I'm so glad I found them :)

Very friendly and helpful! My cat was well taken care of and he loved the vets who helped him. The vets gave him a check up, two shots, and a nail trim in a short amount of time. I filled out the paperwork before going so we were able to skip the waiting room and go straight back for his visit. They even gave my cat treats and some special food. Highly recommend 😊 Thank you for my happy healthy cat!

One of my cats has been having an issue that flares up every couple months. I've taken her to several vets over the years about it and have had no answers. I decided to try Skippack and for the first time ever, I felt like I was listened to and was given a new solution to try that I'm feeling very hopeful about. Rory goes to Skippack vet twice per week for his subcutaneous fluids. Finding out about his kidney disease progression was not easy, but the veterinarians and technicians have been nothing but kind and helpful. Becca in particular is absolutely wonderful and I can’t sing her praises enough! She is always excited to see Rory and I know he’s in great hands while getting his fluids.

It is extremely hard to find a place that look at small pets/exotic pets/pocket pets. They’re so accommodating & reasonable. The staff is really great: knowledgeable, kind, and understanding. It’s crazy cause they’re like magical with fixing problems/finding a solution. Taking your pet to the vet is always hard and sometimes almost impossible for some, but I have gone to this place several times with many different pets and they’ve always been so kind, available, and fair. I’ve always wanted to be a vet and if I was, this would be the place I’d work at.

Was given a very young kitten and needed to get him to a vet right away. They squeezed me in last minute in the middle of a pandemic! They came and got him from the car and had him back out to me in less than an hour. They were so nice. They tested him for parasites etc and gave me antibiotics for him. Did a little fecal test too. He was perfectly healthy and happy. They didn’t charge me an arm and a leg either. Very happy with my experience. Actually bringing him back to see them tonight! They will be his vet permanently 😊

The experience of their vets exceeds expectations and is evident by the excellent care they provide. They also provide amazing boarding for pets while you're away. Skippacl Animal Hospital is really great. We took our puppy Katy since her very first day. The post COVID situation has changed but her Vet picks her from the daycare which is next to their office. I'm not up to date with visit procedures. We take Katy to Wagmore Next Door daycare which is next to the vet. If she needs attention a vet technician will pick her up the daycare and after the visit they will return her.Everyone at the hospital is extremely patient and caring.Highly positive experience.

Love the vet! My three babies (dogs) are always wagging their tails when the nurses come to get them. They take the time to bond with the animals to make sure they are not nervous (which we know we all are including the humans) they are willing to answer questions that have been answered a hundred times before.We had a love cross the rainbow bridge and Skippack Animal hospital was so helpful and warm hearted when we had questions as to what was next.
