I’m giving this store 1 star because of the employees.I had called this store looking for a muzzle loader. The lady in the sporting good department had me on hold to come back and tell me she had cross bows in stock. When I told her I was looking for a muzzle loader, she tells me they still have a few, but some guy came in a bought most of them because they were on clearance and I should come in to look. I made a 1 hr drive to check.When I got there, I found this location doesn’t even carry firearms. A wasted trip.Today, I made the hr drive to get my son a PA fishing permits for minors. There was a guy at the sporting goods counter and I asked him to check me out and that I needed a fishing permit for a minor. He’s reply was “I’m off the clock so I can’t help you.” I didn’t say a word to him and turned to ask another employee stocking shelves to see if she could help. Took a couple steps and the guy says “I’m checked in now, so I can help.” I didn’t know what to think. He gets me the fishing permit for my son, but then says I need to go to the other side of the counter for him to help me with the merchandise I wanted to buy. It was just a weird experience.I’m going to stay away from this store if at all possible.

I consciously try to make choices that reflect my values. Unfortunately, Walmart Supercenter doesn't align with these ideals. My visits are infrequent and driven by necessity rather than preference. The core of my dissatisfaction lies in what I perceive as the company's prioritization of profits over the well-being of its customers and employees. This approach, in my view, detracts significantly from the overall experience and is the primary reason for my one-star rating.

Just picking up some groceries. Met a nice lady in line who gave me 2 coupons for items I had. She saved me $2.00. I'm glad there are actually nice people in the world.

Management needs to communicate to their staff to keep their political opinions and racist views to themselves when dealing with shoppers. The cashier at the cash register today apparently had to vent about "our Government letting everybody into this country causing bridges to collapse". I don't think that this is the right place to voice political views. I'm a customer for heaven's sake! Very inappropriate and disappointing.

It was clean organized back in order from Christmas.I like that you have a choice to have a cashier if needed and self check out if you only have alittle. They had everything thing I needed and the customer service is great. I like that the people that are getting orders together for delivery or pick up have the hand held device that if have trouble finding something they can look it up fast and till you right were it is. Very helpful.

My favorite WALMART. Great friendly staff nice people not a ton of riffraff customers. One drawback as the isles seem narrower than other Walmarts and they let anybody drive the motorize shopping carts so you see all these fat people who if they just push the regular cart it probably lose a little bit of weight, but they’re clogging up the isles with their wheelchair cart even though they don’t need them they’re just too lazy. That’s why they’re fat to begin stocking up on chips and dip along with Diet Coke lol

The young man in electronics pulled my sd card without unmounted it. Lost don't know how many hundreds of photos due to his incompetence. They should need to have "I'm an idiot" on their name tag so the customers know what they are walking into.

If I were a black person I wouldn't go here, they go through their bags and compare every item to their receipt. Having said that, most of the sales people are helpful although I've encountered one fellow who is from another planet. I try to get in and out as quickly as possible.

Does what it says on the tin. The place isn't too big, but big enough that they have a good selection. The workers are always helpful, so don't think twice about asking them for help.

I prefer the Shrewsbury Walmart to other York locations. Less "stuff" sitting around,cleaner store overall and better stocked. There were actually multiple registers open/staffed and Not Just Self Check Out! Not super crowded for a Friday afternoon.

Overnight truck parking okay. Got my prescription and did some shopping. Not all Walmarts are truck friendly like they used to be.

Not he easiest place to find things and hard to find staff to help. Store in the clothing section, toy section and others are hard to move around in since everything is so crowded. Self check out is okay but many times backed up and not enough regular check outs available.Produce is horrible, often old looking. Never trust their meats. Would rather shop at a local Saubels for that. Been years since I do major grocery shopping or food shopping there. Staff often seems unhappy.

Tire center employees were great but they canceled my install last minute with no reason given. Even the day shift employwere confused, when consulting management they were given the excuse that it's not in thier hands, tires don't match what computer says is supposed to be on Jeep, this is a custom lifted jeep and 16 in wheels on street tires are apparently all they will install on a 17 jku.

90% of the time, my experience is not great - aisles too full, parking dangerous, impossible to find baskets & employees who seem like they hate their job. I also notice during very busy times, employees will be stocking shelves & not caring to move or help when customers need in that particular area. Today, I had a great experience with the employee who cut my keys & my cashier was kind. This is rare, but I am grateful.

Automotive for tires is great! Doug and Jacob (mechanics) and Andrew (department manager) were all very knowledgeable and helpful. Needed 2 new rear tires and the Douglas all season so far are quiet, great ride and great price! Douglas is also made for Walmart by Goodyear I read. Install time was about 30 minutes which was also great! Will be back for tire needs. Store was also clean. Pretty well stocked as most places are having issues getting stuff across the board right now. Thanks for the great job!

This is a large store. They do have a gas station here, though the day I was there several of them were out of order and actively being repaired. Unfortunately, that led to a bit of chaos as people circled and made lines for the working pumps. My visit coincided with the Walmart app being down, so I was unable to get the extra 10 cents off for being a Plus member ... but the regular price on unleaded was still lower than any other station around.

This Shrewsbury Walmart is always clean and orderly. The staff is also helpful. Their produce area is also well kept. Deli and bakery has great service too!

I live in MD but will go to PA Walmart because 1: I’m not far from the MD/PA line and I like the drives. 2: I’ve found them to be a bit better than the ones much closer to me in MD.The Shrewsbury location is a fairly new location for me to go to, so I’m still in the feeling it out stage.The other day I went to go and make a return to that location and I was absolutely floored by the Customer Service department. The lady was cheerful, sweet, polite, actually spoke to me. Handled everything quickly and smoothly. I then went to do some shopping. A lady who was putting stock up in an isle I went down greeted me and told me to let her know if she was in my way so she could move everything for me. Polite, smiling, helpful.I do self checkout whenever I can, no hate on the cashiers but I do prefer to have minimal interaction while checking out…small talk is uncomfortable for me. I went to one of the odd ones with no counter space and didn’t see the scanner on the side almost behind the screen, lady came up and helped point it out and I continued doing my thing. Only “complaint” I have was that she was standing so close to me, like less than a foot away, while I was ringing my stuff up. I don’t like my personal space crowded. But it was a full bullpen of people ringing out so perhaps she didn’t have many places she could stand to observe her work area.

Every Walmart I've ever been to I've had problems with the employees. For whatever reason they have this elitist attitude. I do NOT have to show any of you my receipts. You DO NOT have the right to search me or my bags. Finally you do NOT have the right to follow me through the store, that's stalking. This is a mangy department store not a prison camp. Walmart employees need a refresher course on how to treat others with respect and to not automatically assume everyone is there to steal, and what's worse are the managers that condone this practice. I've actually avoided any Walmart because of the treatment I get when I go. I would order online or just do without rather than deal with an argumentative Walmart employee, if you are unhappy, just quit, but don't take you're being disgruntled out on the people who shop there and give you disrespectful people job security. Shame on all of your employees.

Took my sister for her Covid-19 vaccine April 12th. They were also doing testing at this location. Excellent service and strict mask policy! Sorry no pictures of Sis just me from yesterday at another Walmart.
