Love this place!! Lots of great products, helpful staff, reasonable prices. I used the self-serve dog wash this week for the first time, and it was awesome!!! Will definitely do it again.

Love this store! Been taking my Pup to Shrewsbury Store for months now to give her a bath. I have a hard time bending over the bathtub. Always clean and friendly!!!! Can tell real animal lovers work here. Today (6/24/18), I was there around 1pm and I witnessed an excellent display of customer service. A lady was trying to purchase a certain treat she gets at this store and they were out of stock. The young lady working there worked for at least 20 minutes looking for when shipment will be in and calling other stores in area. She apologized several times to the customer who keep telling her "no worries". This of course was in no way her fault, but took it to heart that she could not help this customer. It really made me see that the employees here really like their jobs and want to help!!!! Thanks Pet Valu for always making my experience a pleasant one!!!!

I love this pet store. The staff is so friendly and helpful. It is always clean, the dog wash is awesome and they have a great variety of healthy dog treats & food (made in USA, quality products). You can tell they stock their pet food with care and attention to quality. I really really like this place. ❤️❤️❤️

I was in to buy some essential pet supplies during scary time with Convid-19 among us. They hands down are doing their part to help stop the spread. Their procedure made me feel safe. But, it made me think of all the other places I've been to that were almost business as usual, with no real change in procedures.THANK YOU FOR KEEPING YOUR STORE OPEN AND HELPING PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!

I went here to buy a betta fish and was very disappointed with what I saw. They had more fish than they could sell, all in little tiny cups, and MANY were already dead. I felt so bad for the little guys. I know they are just fish, but still, they should be given decent living conditions! Betta fish are easy to keep alive, so clearly this pet store is doing something wrong.I did NOT buy a fish here and will not support this pet store in the future!Instead, I recommend Shrewsbury Family Pet Shop on Main Street. They have fewer fish which means they don't just sit there and rot. Also, they are given reasonably sized tanks with plants. Much better treatment here!

Bought a big set of horn worms for my bearded dragon 2 days later there is mold growing in the container and half of the worms died and started to turn black I called in and they only said they can give me a 20 percent discount on my next one total waste of money other pet shops are better never coming back
