Perfect place for your special ice cream treat. Has a nice inside seating area making it stand apart from my ice cream stands. I am certain a lot of locals visit, but it’s also conveniently located to Mount Airy Casino Resort for visitors to also enjoy.Parking: Small parking lot, but has a drive-through, maybe a lot of people is that vs eating in.

Lovely little spot--so convenient for a quick sweet treat! Small, but well designed and a lovely fresh remodel! Limited parking and bench seating--but since it's a quick-eats spot, it's perfect.Friendly, super engaged young servers (seems like a fun summer job for local highschoolers). However, my husband asked for a baby scoop, and our server was so intent on that size being too small, that she ended up getting him to order a "small" (instead of the one scoop "baby" size) and he said it *was* indeed too much for him in the end.But I get it--they are eager! 😊The flavor I had (Charlie Brownie) was rich and creamy and multi-textured. I'd recommend for serious chocolate 🍫 lovers! I was also excited that the ice cream was (apparently) from a creamery based out of Scranton! #ShopLocalGreat summer hours! (Open until 10pm). Note that the inside space closes at 8pm.I was curious, the sign says ice cream, *hot dogs & hamburgers*, but I don't see anything but Ice cream on the menu? Is that possibly only for service when the "inside" is open?All in all, a Wonderful, fun summer evening ice 🍨🍦 cream spot!Kid-friendliness: Outdoor seating -- kids welcome!

I would take pics of my food/ice cream, but it gets devoured before I can! The ice cream is delicious and the environment is great. The place is very clean and the staff is awesome! It’s so nice to have this local treasure so close!

The girls at the counter were very nice. The ice cream tastes pretty good. Unfortunately, the first rule in food service is when you serve the same food to the same table or counter make sure it looks the same. We ordered two medium cones, they were done by 2 different people, one was significantly smaller than the other. The manager or owner said they are both mediums. They would not redo a different cone. A simple solution to making a customer happy would have been to put a little more in a cup. We like to support mom and pop shops but not if they are not flexible. In my business it was always return business that we strive for and depend on. Terrible customer service by manager or owner. I wish I had read the previous reviews before coming there. There are too many other places people can take their business and feel welcome.

My wife and I stopped into Eats N Sweets to grab a hot dog and an ice cream and we were blown away.First off kudos to the owners for using Pennsylvania made products that support smaller family owned businesses. The hot dogs, the chips and the ice cream were all from local owned businesses. Dedication like this is truly what keeps this countries economic engine turning.Second, the staff was just lovely. Yeah, you've heard all the stories of "These kids today..." followed by all the problems they have. Well those kids were not working at Eats N Sweets. While it was mostly high schoolers working the shop, they were very friendly and professional. They made us feel right at home.Lastly, the ice cream. As a chubby guy that takes his ice cream seriously, this place didn't disappoint. I had the chocolate cherry almond and my wife had the coffee ice cream. Both were packed with flavor and enough to make Ben and Jerry wanna go open a muffler shop because there's no way to compete!In summary, whether you an ice cream aficionado, or just someone that likes the occasional treat, this place is for you. Just make sure you have enough spare cash for the gym membership you're gonna need once you're hooked!!!

A great place to get an a bite to eat and a sweet! It’s a little on the pricey side but these places usually are. Food is good quality. Ice Cream is also good. They make a great milkshake! If you’re on 611 in the Poconos don’t go to one of the chains like Dairy Queen or Wendy’s, go here!

Oh boy oh boy ! Delicious ice cream! A little busy. The window set up is weird but whatever. They must be new owners. Didn’t try the fast food, the ice cream however was great. Highly recommend chocolate cherry or black raspberry.3 cones 17. And change. That’s about average…nice friendly people. Would definitely go back . Only down side no chocolate marshmallow , my personal fav. But have about 30 different flavors. Go give it try . Worth the trip.

Great staff, always smiling, welcoming. They have the best ice cream sandwiches. We had gotten rolled in rainbow sprinkles. The next time they were out of those type but went the extra mile and opened ones they had already packaged and rolloedso my daughter could have ones rolled in sprinkles. They have a customer for life

Love this place. The ice cream is delicious (homemade from a local dairy). Charlie Brownie and Barnyard are the best. The milkshakes and malts are delectable. There is also hot food. I would recommend the pierogis and mozzarella sticks. Scrumptious. Overall, absolutely amazing.

I really enjoyed my experience with this restaurant. They had delicious food and a great staff. I like how they sell homemade ice cream with rich flavors. I will be coming back as soon as I get back into the Poconos. 5 out of 5 stars!

Stopped by with my family on Father’s Day and ordered some ice cream we were super excited to try this place since the new owners reopened it and when the woman with the dark hair handed me my ice cream it rolled off my cone onto the floor so I turned to hand it back hopeful she would remake it and she in a very loud voice said this is why we don’t chocolate dip and slammed the window. I was shocked and had no idea what just happened. Instead of her explaining nicely that they were not able to chocolate dip a certain ice cream and maybe that’s why it rolled off my cone she basically scolded me and then when she came back to the window and I had asked can you at least then put sprinkles on it since I paid for the chocolate she again in a loud voice yelled no then I’m double dipping and there are no refunds and slammed the window shut. Then my husband ordered a flight which is 4 kinds of sample ice cream in a container and he found a black hair in his chocolate ice cream so he went up to the window to ask for a refund and they again no refunds we will remake it! Well at least they offered that, but maybe be a little more careful with wearing hair down so that it’s not contaminating someone’s food. Professionalism and courtesy go a long way and we received none of that . I hope going forward you will treat and serve people better with your customer service and practice better food handling when it comes to serving your ice cream. Attitude is everything! We are glad you have cameras! It’s funny that a family of 3 stops by for a simple happy Father’s Day outing buys 3 ice creams then accused of taking “5” and then is banned for being honest. We all have bad days but if you explain to the customers why things can’t be ordered a certain way and or practice food safety when it comes to hair it would have bettered the situation. I hope going forward other customers won’t have the same experience that our family did. Have a blessed day!

This place is a must try for anyone. The ice cream and sundaes are amazing and priced just right for their size, the staff is friendly and did I mention the food, amazing. I really recommend everyone try the cheese steak poppers. I wish I lived closer cause I would be almost everyday.

Came here for ice-cream and everything we got was good. The hot fudge sundae was a good size and the vanilla ice-cream was very tasty. We also got a chocolate dipped cone. It was good but would have been much better if they dipped it a few more times! Pricing was pretty typical. They have indoor and outdoor seats so you can enjoy the summer sun or avoid it, the choice is yours.

We got 2 hamburgers, one order of waffle fries, and one order of Mozzarella sticks (with chutney sauce which was delicious!:), a small milkshake, and a sundae. The hamburgers were ok and also the fries (could be because I’m not a big fan of waffle fries) cheese sticks were delicious. IT COST ALMOST 50.00! I felt everything is fine except it was overpriced. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean, friendly staff. Everything but the prices was good.

The ice cream was good and the employee gave me good flavor advice.I got two scoops in a cone but a few steps later one scoop fell on the floor.Figured they would just give me another scoop but they wouldn't.Thought it was odd since they are the ones who constructed the cone.

Good Ice Cream…Inappropriate Rules..High Prices…and Rude Service. Good soft serve vanilla ice cream with cherry dip. I was kind of excited because I hadn’t had a dipped cone since I was a kid. Vanilla soft serve was fine and it generally is pretty consistent from place to place. The cherry dip top was too thin and not well applied. However, when I ordered, I was rudely told to consume my ice cream outside and not use the inside dining room. I was quite taken back by the inappropriate rudeness and lack of explanation. My shocked inquiries eventually yielded an absurd excuse that it was a rule from the 70’s. However, I know this placed just opened this summer.

I stopped by this place on Sunday because the Parking lot was full of cars and I figured there must be a good reason for it. I had a burger that was made just like I like it. BUT the star of the meal was the ice cream Sunday I had for dessert. I had Cookie n Cream Ice Cream with Marshmallow, Peanut butter Sauce, and chocolate syrup topped with huge amounts of whipped cream. The ice cream was definitely not the massed produced garbage like you see from all the other ice cream joint in the area. It was the creamiest, most delicious ice cream I had ever had. It was packed with Oreo cookies and it just melted in my mouth. I wish I had taken pictures but once I took that first bite, I didn't even stop to breath. I am going back tonight and highly recommend you try this place's ice cream as soon as possible.
