see update at the bottom: Wish I could give zero stars. Showed up at 1:28 with my elderly mother to fill urgent prescriptions. I was advised by another CVS worker to RUN to the pharmacy as they were about to close for lunch. I was greeted with a command to come back at 2 PM. There were 4+ workers there, its ridiculous that pharmacies have started closing for lunch. Take turns! have 2 people cover while 2 lunch - its not rocket science. If pharmacists ran McDonalds they would close for lunch. You would have thought the building was going to blow up with the urgency they had to pull down the gate. Terrible customer service. I know its hard to find staff, and people are pushy a-holes who complain about slow pharmacies, but the closing at lunch is not a good solution.note: I've been educated some since posting this. Apparently they cannot stay open unless there is a 'full fledged pharmacist' actively working, so to allow 2 lunch shifts, you need two pharmacists working at lunch time, and its very hard to find pharmacists, so most of them have to close if the pharmacist is going to get a lunch break.

Only because there is not a “0 Stars” option. **DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY**They’ve shorted my medication numerous times—when I’ve asked the pharmacy about them, they’ve told me I am wrong (I am not)—they never have medication in on time—the people that work there are extremely rude (except Raj). My doctors will send them an electronic file and they’ll say they don’t have it—after they (I guess finally decide to use the scroll button on the computer) only to THEN realize that they DO in fact have something on file—after days of calling them, of course.I’ll regret leaving such a “Karen” of a review in about an hour I’m sure—but I am just so sick of this store. Not a good branch of CVS—I hopped over to Walgreens and life has already gotten that much easier.

The worst experience I've ever had inside a place of business. The Pharmacy Manager John slammed the drive through window in my face as I was attempting to troubleshoot my children's medicine.I was greeted with an audible "Jesus Christ" and shaking of the head as I walked in and asked why he had disrespected me in the manner he did. He proceeded to raise his voice and talk to me in an extremely condescending tone in front of both those waiting and the other pharmacists. Not once did I raise my voice or disrespect him even after he crossed the line.I have never been spoken to in a place of business by another "man" in the manner I experienced there, he is clearly unfit for the managerial role.Leadership starts at the top and from looking at recent reviews of the Pharmacy, it's clear to see a change is needed.I won't step foot in that location again, and advise others to avoid as well.

Came to pick up prescription, was on drive thru line waiting with other customers. When I reached window it was 1:30 pm and she said we are closing for lunch. I said it's just turned 1:30pm and I was waiting on the line, she was careless and said sorry I have to close. If I can give this place -10 star I would but no option.

Former CVS Pharmacy technician here: a lot of complaints regarding the pharmacy are due to factors outside of the employees' control. Not all, but most.Long lines at drive-thru: drive-thrus are for convenience, NOT SPEED. It is just the same as a single line inside of the store, except that instead of walking up, you drive up. Honestly, things take even longer as you factor in the starting and stopping of the cars safely as well as how signatures have to be handled since the patient cannot sign on the electronic pads like in the store. Also to the one lady who thinks we can just rip out the grassy median or just add another drive-thru lane there: hahahahaha they cannot, they don't own the parking lot in any way and no one at the store level has even a fraction of the authority to make that decision. There is also not at all enough room for a second lane. On top of all of that, the Covid testing does take time to do correctly and verify information, so if you do not want to go to a pharmacy with Covid testing at this time...good luck finding one.Long lines in store: there are rushes just like with every other business. A lot of people "just stop in quickly" on their lunch break or just after work at 5pm to find out that half of Richboro had the same idea. When all registers are pumping out patients as fast as they can (there is a lot of information to verify to keep patients safe!) and you take into consideration half of the people may have insurance issues or other problems that cannot be handled at the register and must be done at a computer station, you can see why lines get clogged up. Save yourself some time and VERIFY ONLINE OR BY PHONE THAT ALL INSURANCE IS UP TO DATE AND THAT THE PRICE IS CORRECT PRIOR TO PICK UP. Actually, do yourself a favor and do as much online as you can to save yourself the thousand phone calls to pharmacy staff that is already so busy and understaffed that it makes it difficult to pick up the phone after only a single ring. Also, please take any coupon issues or front store merchandise to the front store register. If it is one item, that is fine. If you have a full cart, take it up front. If there is a coupon or Extracare card problem, they have to call the front store manager back to the pharmacy, and now a pharmacy line is held up for people who need prescription medications because you want your $1 off toothpaste.Rapid tests getting canceled: These tests done in the parking lot are done by a third party. The PHARMACY has no access to these records or scheduling. Any information is through the MinuteClinic, which is technically a separate entity under the CVS umbrella. It seems like a small thing, but our computer systems are segregated in a way that the pharmacy CANNOT access info regarding rapid tests. PCR tests done through the drive-thru are in a different system from which the pharmacy CAN access info.Rude staff: I cannot tell anyone how words will come off to them. I can only speak from my experience in that when I was having a bad day (which was a lot of days there) it showed a lot of the time. I did my best to keep a professional attitude and tone but do admit that I slipped up at times (I'm sure that people reading this who recognize my name and face would agree). It was almost never because of the situation in front of me but because I was stressed out of my mind and had a million other things to do once that interaction was over. I can only ask that everyone try to show some compassion and use calm words to try and resolve situations where feelings are hurt. Yelling at staff will only cause a rift between the staff and that patient.I hope that my essay above helped at least enlighten some of the issues that I know many patients experience with the pharmacy specifically. I do not speak for the front store or MinuteClinic, and will admit that I left CVS Pharmacy's employ in 10/2020. All opinions are my own.

My husband and I received our Pfizer Covid vaccine boosters there last week. They were wonderful. Easy to schedule, took us right on time! The pharmacist was compassionate and very good administering the vaccine.

I went to the Richboro CVS for the Covid and flu shots, as the Newtown one could not do it. The place is a mess. The floor is not clean, the check-in automatic kiosk dors not work. The actual room where they administer the vaccines is unbelievable. Papers on the floor, used masks on the chair, open boxes everywhere on top of each other, a trash can to kee a door open, questionable separation of sterile stuff. Only the nurse was efficient, quick and with an expert hand, but if I were in hrr position I would not work there. I will not go back.

I scheduled a rapid COVID test. After driving a while to get there and waiting in my car for 20 minutes, I finally go inside to find out the nurse who administers the test went home sick. The considerate thing to do would be to contact me about the cancellation. They had my email and my phone number.

Slow and rude. They never use my GoodRx correctly even tho it's on my CVS account. They also changed my prescription and didn't tell me and I didn't realize until I got home. When I went back they said it's my fault for not checking. Unbelievable!

This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL careless pharmacy I have ever been to in my life. I’m on a prescription that is super important and if I don’t have it I get withdraw symptoms. So my doctor called in my prescription and I went to pick it up & they told me I had to wait until the next day bc it has to be 30 days apart. My DOCTOR called it in clearly he is allowing me to pick it up that day earlier than usual & the pharmacy wouldn’t allow it. So I was sick all night and waited until the next morning at 8 o’clock to go pick it up & the lady rudely told me it won’t be done until after 2 o’clock. It might not seem like a big deal but these uneducated rude careless people who are nobody’s but can still get a job being in charge of other people’s well being. YOU NEED TO DO BETTER

Pharmacy experience awful. 3 separate issues the first time I used this pharmacy!First the instructions for my antibiotic said to use 21 days, when I clearly remember the doc telling me 7!Then the pharmacist tells me the antibiotic is indeed and anti-fungal which was completely wrong. Then they tell me my second script is not covered, I had to wait 4 days for my doc to come back to office to represcribe something that’s hovered, only to come back and have them hand me my original script that turned out to be covered.I am diligent with everything I get because I know mistake are made . But what about people who are clueless and trust the pharmacy without double checkingStupid mistakes , senseless and careless

Horrible pharmacy, they don’t have time for anyone. They also refused my GoodRx and told me they don’t take that anymore and when I called a different CVS they told me that the pharmacist lied to me and that I could in fact use my GoodRx. I could have saved over $40. They are lazy.

I was on hold over 2 hours and re called the pharmacy to check if a prescription was ready. No live person ever answered and when they did I was told they would tell the manager and transferred my call only to continue to hold. I tried all day and never got a live person to answer if my prescription was called in . What horrible service. I’m in healthcare no this is not acceptable all! I would never use your pharmacy and I hope someone in management is made aware of 5he horrible service!

Went to the drive through to buy Advil Cold and Sinus because of terrible congestion and non stop runny nose, was told 'you have to come to the store'. Offered the man my drivers license and explained that im waiting for Covid test results. Was told that I have to leave and find somebody else who can buy this medication for me. Which i think might actually be illegal

RE: PharmacyStanding in line inside is usually long and the drive through is a mess. Drive thru is always a long wait and no way to get out of the line plus you end up being stuck. Waited close to an hour in line with my infant in the car. Called to complain and they said the hold up is because of covid testing (pre-covid the wait was still long!). Need to figure out a better way!!! Make 2 different lines or remove landscaping so we can escape! Horrible system.

Went to check the walk-in wait time at the minute clinic this morning at 9:15 am and the website said 0 minutes. I put my almost 2 year old with 102 Degree fever in the car to get there (no one else was waiting) to check in and find out it was a 1 hour 45 minute wait which ultimately turned into a 3 hour wait with a really sick child. This system needs to be fixed it cannot deceive people thinking their going to be seen right away (with a baby no less) and then tell you 1+ hours when it ends up being over 3. This is completely unacceptable. They should have more than one person working on weekends and maybe even consideration when a person has a baby or small child. No Good samaritans offered up their time slots as we'd be in and out quickly.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR TB TEST!! People with sensitive skin especially! I had my TB test done and read here and the nurse read it incorrectly as positive. I have sensitive skin so I had redness where the test was placed. The nurse at CVS read this as positive even though there was no induration (bump caused by actually having TB.) This resulted in me having to go to an urgent care to get a chest X-ray which cost $75, because of course the X-ray isn’t covered by insurance. The x-ray came back negative, obviously. Even when I was there THREE different nurses told me there was no way this should have been counted as positive. Save yourself the frustration, time, and money and go ANYWHERE but here for your TB test.

I recently transferred a prescription to this pharmacy (CVS Richboro, Pa) due to a change in health insurance coverage. Basic generic medication and a 90 day supply and usually costs no more than 15.00 except at this CVS. They actually tried to charge me more than 160.00 and I walked. I transferred the script to ShopRite and walked out at 13.53. The amazing part of this was I confronted the pharmacist, store manger and their corporate office and no one other than the store manager seemed to even recognize the issue. Shannon at the corporate office was the worst by far and I am puzzled how this woman has her job. The arrogance of this company is amazing. My advice shop around and take the time to get the best price it could be big. I will never walk in a CVS again.

They were always unkept. Long lines to the register, long lines for pharmacy, long wait to see an unexperienced and untrained nurse for urgent care. The renovations are endless but they don't bring any change. Newly installed automatic registers are already not working. Service continues being slow in the check out line. Loyalty cards fail in the incorrectly setup system. Merchandise is everywhere on the floor and unpainted walls are stripped half-bare. Management and employees should have been really changed awhile ago.

I only have good things to say about the staff in this pharmacy. They are quick to answer my phone calls and do their best to keep the lines moving as efficiently as possible at the pharmacy counter. The staff is very friendly and always available for questions.

Raj saved me $46.00 for an uncovered prescription. I had been getting this prescription 3 or 4 times a year for many years. This was the 1st time that anyone actually looked for another savings venue.

I’be been going here for over 5 years, and have gone from 1 star, to 5, and now back down to 2. Customer service really depends on when you go, and who you get. One of the senior members of the pharmacy team is clearly hungover or under the influence. I have noticed this on multiple visits. The rest of the team is great, and have fixed his screw ups.

Terrible process setup for COVID tests. They have no drive thru and the instructions are not clear. I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes and they still haven’t called me in. Highly recommend literally any other CVS for your testing needs!

Prescription was promised in thirty minutes. Over an hour later, it's not ready. Employee encourage me to find a new pharmacy as this one is understaffed, and very busy. Said things are often late.

I got their early at 8:30 for an appointment and they were quick and fast and made sure I had everything I needed in case my infection was worse than it seemed! I assumed I would have to wait for about 20 minutes for my prescription but when I left the room it was all ready for me!

worst pharmacy in Richboro - take over 2 hours to fill prescriptions & never call if there is a problem even though they ask for a phone number. Had multiple times that they were suppose to contact the doctor and the doctor never receives any contact. Last time I will use CVS Richboro

There was no wait time and Colleen(NP) waa fantastic with helping me with my illness. Also, my insurance only charges what my primary care does to come to the minuteclinic, whereas urgent care costs more than double!

I went to this cvs to go get a Corona 19 testing and the lady was very nice inside that did tested and told me to sit in my car for about 15-20 minutes until the results is ready... and that I'm going to get a call it was after about 40 minutes of me sitting in the car ....that I went inside the pharmacy to find out if all my results is finished or how long would it be and a lady started screaming at me and yelling at me and telling me that I have to get out the store that I cannot be inside the CVS pharmacy at this time and I said I was just asking a question speak to the manager which is very nice I spoke to the manager and Mr Eric and he told me that he's going to talk with her and when I was speaking to her Miss Kathleen came out streaming at him telling him hey he cannot be in this store that he has to get out and it's very very very rude and disrespectful towards us

The pharmacist is rude and a very disrespectful woman. I will never do business there again. So sad that people are nasty to others when we are the reason they exist.
