Adopted my cat Hercules from AHR and continue to use them for his vet visits. The ladies who work there are sooo sweet and caring. The adoption process was super easy and I was able to visit Hercules a few times to get to know him before bringing him to his furever home. Now, my little boy is so calm on his vet visits bc he gets to see all his old friends and sometimes some new ones. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a kind environment for their pets!

I took my 6 month old kitten here for a laser declaw. To everyone out there that is against declawing, please understand the difference between traditional and laser. In traditional, they cut the bone and remove parts of the knuckle. The cat is often awake, and given anesthetic injections to reduce the pain. This can cause trauma to cats and I agree is inhumane. Laser declaw is when they put the cat to sleep, and use a laser to singe off the tip of the bone where the talon grows, but leaving the knuckles intact. Both of my cats can still jump well over five feet with no issues. There is a reason why laser declaw is much more expensive than traditional, but 100% humane and safe for the cat. I paid over $1000 for this and getting him chipped. Back to topic, I took Leon here for his surgery, as well as getting chipped. The staff was 100% transparent and professional. They took care of my little guy and made sure everything went well. Apparently because of how loud he was when left alone, they had to keep giving him attention. 🤣🤣🤣 Anyways, I thank the staff and the doctors for doing an outstanding job on my little guy.

Dr. Kramer is the one of the NASTIEST people i've ever dealt with. Their manager or whoever she is is very condescending. Kramer holds grudges if you refuse any unnecessary treatment etc. If you go here pray you never meet Dr. Kramer. I pray she gets the karma she deserves

Excellent staff. Dr. Kramer is wonderful. My dog is challenging both in her multitude of health challenges and her dislike of being poked and prodded. They've always been awesome in making it as comfortable as possible for her.

So greatful for a doctor like Dr. Kramer and her staff ! I’ve been bringing my pets to her for a year now and the care they receive is excellent to say the least. She’s gained my full trust over the year as I’ve been bringing my pets with various routine and emergency visits. Dr. Kramer is knowledgeable, always accurate with diagnosis and treatment and above all caring ! Her entire office works efficiently, and me and my babies are so so lucky to have Dr. Kramer and staff !

My animals have been seeing Dr. Kramer for 10 years. Last week was the first time I called after hours for a problem I didn’t think could wait. I was so impressed with their system. I was able to speak directly to the doctor and set up an after hours appointment. Dr. Kramer took such good care of my dog. I knew she was a great doctor and I’ve always loved her office staff, but this experience was another level of professionalism and kindness I so appreciated. I definitely recommend this practice.

dr kramer does not know how to treat animals properly, nor does she care, as long as she gets paid. she ignored our cat's lengthy decline and only prescribed treatment when she realized it was too late. we were given drugs and expected to administer them at home, unaware that the dosage was wrong and would ultimately prove fatal. anyone who takes their pet to this vet is a sucker.

Very unhappy the way Front Desk Operates. I called today in the morning and wanted to make an appointment for my cat that visited their office 2 weeks ago. At her first visit they checked the cat, made vaccinations, blood tests and charged us close to $400 and told us to come back in 2 weeks to do the stool test. Today I called and wanted to know how much money our next appointment will costs us and what was their charge for spaying the cat. As soon as I started to discuss financial part the lady got nasty and rude and raised her voice on me. I was shocked how she handled our conversation. I told her she needs to record her conversation and then listen how she treats customers. She even did not apologized. At this point I Completely changed my mind to continue using their services. I told the lady why she was so irritated by my questions, but she got even more rude. I have an appointment on 21 and was planning to transfer 4 my other animals to their office since they are very close to our house, but for now don’t want to go any longer and obviously will share my experience to my friends about their terrible customer service. My friend who is also brings her dog to that office as well complained about them before. For now I know this place doesn’t deserve to have any customers. Terrible !

Today was Sunday…and Mother’s Day…but Dr. Kramer responded personally to an emergency we had with our dog Ruby. We are brand new to this practice, and I was astonished to discover that Dr. Kramer answers the off hours emergency calls herself!! She and one of her dedicated staff met us at the office(again…this is Mother’s Day), where she performed surgery to remove a blockage that could have become life threatening. Before the procedure, she explained everything clearly, told us what to expect, and made us feel comfortable with what was happening. Our dog came through it with no complications, and is on the road to recovery thanks to Dr. Kramer! She, and all of the staff at Animal Hospital of Richboro are kind, compassionate, responsive and extremely professional! We are beyond grateful, and feel so lucky to have found this amazing veterinary team right in our own backyard!!!

I had to make the difficult decision to laser de claw my cat due to aggression and I could not have chosen a better place. They have a very thorough post op protocol to ensure your animals are well healed and cared for, and you can tell they really truly care. They offered so much additional help and suggestions for my cats behavioral issues at no extra cost and were extremely thorough in her after care instructions. I never met the doctor but Heather the tech was so friendly and kind- I would trust these folks with any of my animals.

I have been using Dr. Jennifer Kramer, owner of Animal Hospital of Richboro, for more than 13 years. I went to her originally when I had my first 2 adult cats, and now my second set of 2 year old cats. She is an excellent veterinarian, who cares deeply for your pet's health and well being! Dr. Kramer treats each pet and owner with respect and quality care. She never rushes a visit and provides detailed information regarding her care and your pet's needs, patiently answering questions. Dr. Kramer refers her clients to specialists when warranted. She knows her own area of considerable expertise very well, along with her limitations regarding very specialized care. This affords your pet the best medical attention possible. I would not go to another veterinarian.

Used to be a good place to go. Since the one of the vets left the practice and they moved locations I feel the service has went downhill and prices have gone up. Trying to get in for appts is difficult.In response to your response.If you are in fact that busy then I would assume you wouldn’t have time to reply to reviews online.I don’t get to decide when my dog gets sick and needs care but would be nice to have a vet that’s available when needed other than just taking my money at annual check ups. This was not the first instance of trying to get him in for an appt where it took a few days to be seen. Not sure how you can say it wasn’t an emergency without seeing him but when my dog has blood coming out of his ear it’s an emergency to me. Thanks for letting me know that there are other vets in the area though if it is an emergency. Had been with this practice for about 10 years and feel this could have been handled better.

Dr. Kramer and her staff are wonderful! I have taken my pets there for about 8 years and they have received fantastic care. I used to live just a few minutes from the office... but I have since moved and now live over an hour away. However, it's well worth the drive (across 4 counties!) to take our pets there.They are helpful, friendly, responsible, and truly go out of their way to take personalized care of each pet. They treat each animal like it is their own pet.The office is very welcoming. They have convenient office hours, including some night and weekend appointments. There are also several tests and labs that can be done in-house, which is great.I also adopted a special needs cat from them a few years ago. I am so grateful to have him! They took care of him and bottle fed him as a kitten, and gave him a chance at a wonderful life. After several months of amazing care from Dr. Kramer and her staff, I adopted him and brought him into our family :-)I highly recommend the Animal Hospital of Richboro!

This Doctor is AMAZING!!! She goes above and beyond for my pets. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and most importantly- she was and still is there for me to help me with my dog Puma on a DAILY basis. What other vet would do that? Just Dr. Kramer! General examination of a 17 year old Prussian Blue cat to monitor for pain and kidney function. All staff were courteous and took all the time needed to answer questions and explain findings / test results. Lab tests were done in house. India assisted with handling our cat ... very friendly staff. Excellent experience

When our 3 year old "puppy" came down with Kennel Cough on a Sunday night, Dr. Kramer returned my panicked call after 9pm and immediately calmed me down. She made arrangements for our dog to be seem first thing the next morning and initiated a treatment plan to provide some relief to our big guy. As luck would have it, we were scheduled to leave town for 10 days and could not board our dog because of his cough. Dr. Kramer and her staff again stepped into action and provided a very personalized sitting service for our guy to make sure that he recovered in a safe and comfortable environment -- his home. We are so thankful for how helpful and thoughtful Dr. Kramer and her office has been in providing care for our puppy.

Animal Hospital of Richboro is a SCAM. I came with my 12 years old cat with problem. They find other problems but never diagnoses main problem which I came for. They charge me $700. After that I lost my beloved cat. Dr. Kramer does not know how to treat pets properly, nor does she care, as long as she gets paid. During 2 month she ignored the deterioration condition of my cat. Her diagnosis was “stress” but it turned out to be brain tumor.They overcharge for wellness visits. They misdiagnose pets. I have couple more cats but, I will never be bringing my cats to this vet ever again, and I recommend that all pet owners do the same. If you don’t want to lose your pets stay away this place. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM.

As a new client with a foster dog, they went over and above to make sure he received excellent care at a fair cost. They are caring and when I called with an issue with my own dog, who was not a patient, they fit her in, fixed her up and didn't seem to mind the copious amounts of blood splatter from the tip of the ear laceration. Great place, great staff and a wonderful find for care for your pet!

We had3 cats 2 unfortunately have pas .we are left with our big boy frank who was diagnosed with diabetes and a blader infection and with doc Kramer help has beaten the infection and is on the way to recovery from the diabetes .we had another Fer baby a long time ago that had the same thing and was with a different vet they were great but never had us follow a regiment like doc Kramer dose and that baby never recovered frank is doing well because she really cares alot more then most about her patients. I have adopted two kittens from this hospital and I absolutely love them. The Animal Hospital of Richboro takes such great care of their animals I would refer anyone looking to adopt to go to this place and see what they have to offer! The staff is super professional and loving. I personally have not gotten the chance to meet Dr. Kramer but she has taken great care of my babies when they are with her, I couldn’t ask for anything better! My babies Bam Bam and Bagheera are happy healthy 9 month old kittens that are well trained and well behaved. My experience with this place has been wonderful and I will be using them as my vet to continue taking care of my babies because I know they will always be in the best hands. Thank you Animal Hospital of Richboro for making my experience becoming a cat owner again a great one.

I am very unimpressed by this small hospital and the way they run their business. I came here few times for my dogs for preventative shots and wellness visits ,and very time it was a negative experience.Even though the staff are nice to the pets, they are not transparent with how they run their business and about their policy. For example, my mother came once with her 3 month old puppy. The secretary recommended a treat that contained rawhide, so my mom bought it. And of course, the puppy choked on it. I came back with the treat to return it, only to find out that thry do not allow credit back to our credit card, only credit towards pet account or treat exchange (even though they accept credit cards for payment option). I asked the secretary if there is any other option, like cash, and the secretary, starting to get very rude towards me, said that Dr Kramer was busy. Waiting for solid 20 minutes, I followed up, and the secretary said that Dr. Kramer said "no cash." They were obviously wasting my time and didn't want to give me back my money back. I just exchanged the treat for a different one that was more appropriate for the puppy.What was even more ridiculous was that they originally gave me a box of dental treats that cost $20.00, and said "here you go," even though they still owed me $1.90. I said "you still owe me "$1.90, please me one more piece of treat since they are $2 each. I will give you $0.10." How rude of them to believe that it is an even exchange.I am never coming back to this animal hospital again because they do not know how to run business.

Our cat had a urinary blockage and needed emergency surgery and they took him right in. Saved his life and our family from a true heartbreak.. forever recommend the amazing staff at Animal Hospital of Richboro for saving our little king!!
