The cobblestone Hotel and suites is a comfortable quiet and clean hotel.Their rooms are spacious and design relatively well. The location is conveniently close to the burrows of the famous groundhogs Phil and his mate Phyllis in Punxsutawney.Breakfast is a good selection of flavored yogurts, scrambled eggs and nonfat milk, and addition to waffles and the usual pre-packaged bakeryNearby activities: One can visit the famous groundhog Phil and his mate Phyllis in Punxsutawney

The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. What more can you ask for? There's a fitness room, a pool, and guest laundry all on site. Complimentary breakfast, and free wifi.Rooms: The room I was in had plenty of standard outlets situated on the desk, along with USB outlets as well. There was a mini fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine, and a safe inside the room. I recommend the whirlpool room with a kind sized bed, if it's available.

I needed to stay in Punxsutawney 1 night at the end of the Ground Hog Day weekend. Although I was not concerned about the reservation being available, I was concerned that after the biggest weekend of the year the facility would not be cleaned or service not available. However, I found the room to be clean, towels were plush, and all amenities such as soaps and shampoo to be fresh. Wi-Fi was speedy and TV had a quality selection of stations. Staff was gracious when I wanted an additional chair in the room. The breakfast the next morning was satisfactory although it turns out we were the only guests for the night.

Great hotel. We had a clean room and it was quiet and super close to stores, the downtown area, etc. The bar at the front counter is fantastic. Reasonably priced and unexpected. Super nice checkin person too. Very welcoming. There is no hot tub as shown in the pictures. It’s been covered and has a table on it so that was a bummer. We were looking forward to it. Breakfast lady in the morning could use some sunshine attitude. Coffee was constantly empty and when I asked if there was more, she said yes it was ready. I watched her go to the coffee maker and she said she was going to go ahead and start to make a new pot. This included washing out the pot and starting a new brew. That was pot #2. She then took the other pot, pot #1 and that’s when I realized that #1 was full of fresh coffee. I had been standing at the counter the entire time and instead of bringing the fresh pot #1 out and then going back to make pot #2, she did it while I stood there, probably for a good 5 minutes waiting. This was pretty much what we dealt with yesterday morning too. Don’t quite understand why she did this. Whatever. The rest of the stay was excellent!

We were lucky enough to find this spot on our way home to Canada on a motorcycle trip - reasonably priced, updated and clean! The beds, room and pool did were all great, the bar available at the front desk was an added bonus and the complementary breakfast was fully stocked. To complete our perfect stay, Lisa at the front desk could not have been more accommodating or better at her job. A welcome rest after a long motorcycle trip!

Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the Internet which kept disconnecting, but I called Lisa at the desk and she or someone reset it and then it was perfect the remainder of our time there. breakfast was good with something for everyone. Hot food, cereal, fruit, muffins, sweet rolls, yogurt and cookies. Coffee, milk, juice and more! We were glad to find a laundromat, and the machines worked perfectly and prices were reasonable. There is a small’s store with convenience, items, sodas, drinks, candy, chips, etc. Also a full bar and a comfy lobby. A conference/meeting room is available also. Across the street there is a Walmart, restaurants and fast food. It is peaceful and quiet there and a beautiful view outside as well. The pool area is very nice and has a nice patio outside. My only disappointment was that the hot tub was out of order while we were there, but that stuff happens. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay there! Thanks Cobblestone!Laurie Finch

Great hotel. Very clean. We had room 206. Bed was comfy, plenty big for our family of 6 ( 2 adults, 4 kids ages 6,1,2,3) and our small dog. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast offering. We didn't use the pool area but it was open and looked nice. We will definitely be back as we have family in the area and visit often. Great hotel for the price and it's not like there are any other options in town. I am so happy cobblestone has a hotel here.

I stayed here the nights of Saturday 2/19 and Sunday 2/20. This is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Western Pennsylvania. The cell phone service (Verizon Wireless) works great. The hotel is off on a side street off 119 which puts it more in a country setting but still very easily accessible off the the main highway. The staff was very accommodating and the hotel was cleaner than most I’ve visited. It’s like a hometown hotel but with all the amenities of a large chain. The pool and hot tub are both amazing and I enjoyed both. The fitness center while small provided enough for an ample workout. The breakfast was very good with plenty of selections for anyones needs or wants. My Boston Terrier also enjoyed himself here and I observed at least 4 other dogs here so the hotel is very pet friendly and yet still very clean. I will definitely stay here again and honestly even though this hotel is a bit more expensive than others in area towns. 5 stars across the board!

The room was clean and the hotel was nice. Rooms had many modern amenities including nice TV, cable, refrigerator, and microwave. We enjoyed our stay. but wanted to note that on two different occasions we saw maids cleaning rooms with no masks during a pandemic. And the front desk staff was loose on their mask wearing too. This made us uneasy. So, just wanted to get on here and state that for anyone who is trying to be safe. Had we known this beforehand we would have stayed elsewhere.

Rooms average to below. Lost power due to storms, understanding its and act of mother nature, but staff handled situation horribly. Was told you can check out and receive a refund, now we're fighting with management cause they changed their story. During outage, safety and fire lighting mostly failed, staff not prepared for power outages. Staffed turned rude and condescending when asked questions. Next family visit, will stay in next town at Ramada.

Internet connection is a fraction of what my half signal hotspot is. Every channel on the "cable TV" wants to you pay for it. (So basically no TV). TV also didn't let me use an external device, so it might as well have not been there and left me the counter space that's so desperately needed. Every parking spot is taken up by roughneck losers and their massive trucks... And their cones that take up every spot beside said trucks. Had to park a long way away from the only door. "Breakfast" was not a real meal. Was effectively a cereal bar with off smelling milk.Just because it's a backwoods town doesn't mean the local hotel has to try to fit the theme. But it does... I have to visit this town more often than I'd like moving forward. From now on, I'll be sleeping in my car.

On July 17, I told Lisa at the checkout that while using hot tub I had misplaced my hearing aid. I searched, I couldn't find it. Next day she called at home to tell me they found it. Lisa assured me that she would she take care of it. Today it came securely wrapped in the mail. The hotel itself, was clean with a pleasant decor. Free breakfast featured a nice variety of choices including hot waffles, eggs, and sausage gravy. But, Lisa was the star of the day. thank you so much Lisa.Gary Young

This is a well maintained roadside motel. We felt very comfortable here. There's food and a Walmart right across the main road. Lots more food options if you drive more into the main town area. The best part about this place for me, was that the free breakfast had eggs and sausage. I have to start with protein and don't get that with these places often.
