Customer service has gone completely downhill. The cashier 12/27/23 7pm was disengaged. It’s weird that after you finish your purchase there’s nothing. Not do you need a bag. Nothing. Just back to his cellphone. What happened that there is no accountability today for poor service. Rite Aid please retrain this cashier.

This pharmacy does not care about its patients - my prescription that used to be $5 was now $600. Instead of helping me find coupons or alternatives, they just stared at me and asked if I still wanted it while I cried at the counter and other people in line comforted me. I came back into the store to buy an otc alternative after sitting in my car and googling - I heard the pharmacists just blasting everyone who had been in line when they didn’t think anyone was there. I’m absolutely going somewhere else - if you’re going to be that heartless find a different job

The pharmacy staff at the Rite Aid at 2501 Banksville Rd are AMAZING. They have gone above and beyond to help myself and several other patients get the medications they need when they do not have a medication in stock. I'm very blessed to have a pharmacy so close to home that goes out of their way to take care of their patients.

My overall experience at this Rite Aid pharmacy was pleasant. The associate Rose and the pharmacist B.J. were friendly and helpful and were very patient when I had issues using my card. They did the best they could to offer me the best service possible.

Everyone is always very nice and helpful. The staff is amazing. It just seems like a slow process to even pick up a prescription that should have been ready. So not sure if it is a system related issue or what

I wanted to like this location because it was so close to home, and the store was clean and bright. But it is absolutely terrible for getting prescriptions filled. The pharmacists all seem to be friendly, hard working, and attentive. But they just don't have the support they need. For three weeks I've tried to get someone on the phone to ask questions about my prescription and I've never been able to get a human on the phone. Try the Rite Aid down the street instead.

If I could rate the pharmacy staff 0 stars I would. They are very rude and always have attitudes. I have waited in the drive thru and they asked me my birthday two different times and then waited on not 1 not 2 BUT 5 CUSTOMERS while I sat and wait for 2 prescriptions

As I waited in a 7 person deep line with 4 people working in the pharmacy I saw those 4 workers be rude and degrading to customer after customer. One lady was told her medicine was not ready. As she left the store the technician said oh I found it. The next customer in line volunteered to go get the lady but was told not to. The next gentleman said he was called that his meds were ready for pick up just to be told they didn’t have his meds and they would be ready tomorrow. He did get loud but the pharmacist shouldn’t have yelled back well there are other pharmacies at him. I have had his same experience as well, but after today am switching locations. People deserve to be treated with respect and not like they just want your money

The pharmacy is very unprofessional. You call them 9 in the morning, they’ll tell you your order will be ready by 1pm and you come at 5pm yet it’s still not ready. They have no idea what your insurance cover and would charge you for something they aren’t supposed to unless you argue with them. They are often out of products or short on it and wouldn’t tell you that until the moment you already come to the store to pick it up.

I have been going to this rite aid for years and usually never had an issue but today had a pricing concern since I changed insurance and the pharmacist was extremely rude and nasty with me, even laughing at me. This is extremely unacceptable behavior. I would never recommend this store now.

Tried to use drive thru pharmacy and was told to come inside to buy NyQuil along with my script pick up. I told them i have covid and i said multiple times that i dont want to come in. You do not need a prescription to buy NyQuil. There is even a sign on the drive thru window saing that you can buy pharmacy items from the drive thru.

What a horrible pharmacy. I thought switching from Grace street on Mount Washington was the right idea but man was I wrong. I’ve spent 2 hours trying to get a hold of someone for my scripts at the pharmacy. No one answers. I call the main line, ask to be connected, get put on hold and nothing. Call back they just put me on hold. This is insane and really horrible for people who need medications. What a joke and I will be not using this place again.

Their service has really gone down recently. I have used Rite Aid all my life, I know covid really affected them.The lady pharmacist here is great, but she is 1 person facing a mountain. The Noblestown rite aid is outstanding and on point, use that branch to see the right type of personalized service and quality attention you'd expect from Rite Aid.

I went to pay on my Amazon account and Rae (I don't know if I have that spelled correctly).. after going to 2 Rite Aids in the area, she went above and beyond. She helped me call Western Union and they were no help. So she called Amazon customer service. And we were able to figure out how to put the pay code in. no on had the time to help, just wanted to pay my bill. When I went to the other Rite Aid in the area I asked for a manager the cashier said that there wasn't one there..Thank you to the Banksville Rd locations!!

I love the Riteaid stores. Very convenient for me. The staff are great and I often find great sales! I continue to love Riteaid. They are always so kind and helpful. The pharmacy is always very responsive to my needs.

Can't trust the Rite Aid in Pittsburgh, PA at 2501 BANKSVILLE rd PA 15216 and the other one also in BANKSVILLE Rd. They're never answer the phone, no matter what's time of the day you call, I had been called for a week for my Mom medication. Are they still open for business? Pharmacy is scarily incompetent - they filled a prescription for our dog with my husband's medicine! We gave it to the dog without realizing for a week. They also filled one of my prescriptions with a 1-month supply rather than the ordered 3-month supply, which led to my doctor refusing to refill it. Several times there has been a teenager behind the counter who cannot be a trained pharmacy assistant just based on his age. Terrifying.

The people at the pharmacy are rude .. the woman hung up on my bf while we were trying to get rapid covid tests. The man that got on the phone after her wasn’t much nicer. Won’t be returning to this Rite Aid. I knew I should have stuck with CVS.

I have been pretty disappointed watching the stereotyping of who can buy over the counter meds. I stop by this place pretty frequently and on occasion, I have to buy my significant others sleep medication (contains diphenhydramine, not a narcotic) and they always seem to have only one box (the large one) on the shelf, even if there is a deal for two boxes. I always buy two, because the less I have to deal with this, the better. When I am in my suit after work, it’s always “no problem, we will grab more from behind the front counter” and they pull from a stockpile that is there.When I am not dressed up and I ask for another bottle, deal or not, I get to watch them comically pretend to look around on the shelves then claim they do not keep it behind the counter when asked. Because of this, I end up having to go through this song and dance more frequently than I would like.Full disclosure: I’ve always liked the pharmacy, good people, this is the store. The pharmacy is not involved.

After telling me I could pick up my prescription the next day, I called in and was told that it wouldn't be ready until after the holiday weekend. I called in on Thursday while I still had enough to cover for the next couple of days. That is incredibly irresponsible and unprofessional and out right dangerous.

Legit worst rite aid ever.Pharmacy guy was a joke. I asked to get something delivered because I could not wait and he ignored me completely and said wait 15 mins. Did not have anything organized. And the buns and bread were harder than rocks.

Routine prescription dropoff at drive through with pickup later inside at the pharmacy counter. Was able to check out a non-pharmacy item with the prescription. Recent store exterior facelift with updated branding.

It would normally be a regular Rite Aid and 4 Starz, but they have zero COVID-19 mask policy or enforcement. Most of the employees were wearing masks, but it was a free-for-all with store patrons. With no masks, no one-way foot traffic patterns, and narrow isles, I spent a lot of my time just avoiding people to get what I needed.

I believe this pharmacy has some issues with the type of employees they have! No only this time but many times I found that young man pharmacist has some kind of attitude and he seems that he doesn’t know how to show respect for customers! He is rude and disrespectful. I don’t recommend this location and this is my last time going there for sure.
