Unfortunately this is the only store that I can walk to. I used to live close to a Family Dollar which was great! The store was clean, attractive, well stocked and always organized. 95% of the employees were polite and helpful. I moved and now am close to Dollar General. It looks trashy from the outside and the inside isn't much better. It's dirty, disorganized, items all over the floor and very poorly stocked. Many items are not carried at all. It's really a shame because it's the only store around and should be able to do a healthy business. There are a few employees that are nice but most are not friendly or have any clue about customer service. They don't say hello, thank you or goodbye. They don't answer their phone and many times close up early. I had an incidence with a new employee a couple weeks ago at the checkout and swore I would never go back. I haven't. Come on Dollar General, the community deserves better!

They have a lot of stuff, but were sold out of what i needed, conveniently... Store has a very dirty look to it, like no one ever cleans the floor or organizes things. The cashiers were both available to me (or supposed to be, anyway), but one was talking on her phone and the other was standing right at the register eating McDonald's food, taking off her mask to bite into her burger and chew her food. She waved for me to come over even though she was still eating but i was hesitant to even continue my purchase at that store by that point (i bought some candy and dog food but went in for something else and they were out of it). Cashier was polite and efficient but not professional- not made for that job. I will NEVER return to that store and i don't recommend anyone else go there unless it is a LAST RESORT!

Always has stock in the aisles BUT this store is so busy the workers really should get to work OT to get the stock on the shelves. It would be less congested and easier to access the merchandise. They do offer to help so no one is injured, but have the store stocked already. Make it happen management, thanks!!!!

Very clean when they first opened. Now, there are stacks of items that they haven't stocked from the previous weeks...but steady getting more merchandise. So much stuff that you can't get down a lot of the aisles (sort of a maze) while you walk on their visibly nasty, sticky, cluttered floors. The Health Department is going to close it down soon if corporate doesn't step in because someone is going to get hurt...bad. I gave them a 1-star because they don't have negative numbers!

This store was beautiful when originally opened. Now.... This store is a nightmare. There always stock on the floors. Shelfs are left empty. Products are not accurately priced. When addressing this to employees. You get an attitude. But..... You get what you hire. If I could give it less of a star. It definitely qualifies for it.

It's the closest dollar general from home. Their parking lot is hideous, it's trashed all the time. The store is okay, they sell a decent amount of stuff. The store associates aren't bad. During back to school season they didn't really sell a lot of stationeries. They should have done a better back to school promotion.

Variety of product from artificial nails to oil for your vehicle also bread,snacks,milk,seasonal decorations,pillows, a lot of hair products including ethnic product, batteries, cleaning supplies ECT. BUT they need a lot more staff!! There's totes & boxes everywhere that need opened & the product's need to be put out but all u ever see is 1 employee working the cash register there's NEVER an employee on the sales floor which will increase theft & cause this store to shut down & I'd hate to see that happen

Solicitation not stopped near entrance. I was approached by 5 youths that asked for money. Trash all over the parking lot. I'm not gonna lie, walking in there was scary as hell today. The inside is almost worse. I tripped on items that were scattered all over the floor and lost my balance. I couldn't understand the team member checking me out. They wouldn't stop chewing on their hoodie cord. Shame on whoever is the owner or district manager of this store. If you don't care about how you present yourselves in our community, then why should the community treat the store with respect and patronage? Wow.

This location in South Park on Brownsville road is pretty bad. Shelves weren't stocked for over a year and now the stuff they are finally getting out have a lot of expired items, which means they aren't even checking. Always have to wait in a line cause there is only one cashier and the other doesn't care to jump on even when they see the line.

By far the worst store! Let’s start with soon as you hit the door NO AIR , it’s hot as the devils toenail and this isn’t even the dog days of summer. Then you can’t maneuver around boxes and junk everywhere!!! To top it of you have to play a guessing game to when they will be open or closed. Let’s just say mangement sucks. The employees are nice and friendly however the quality of the store is a major no no. They only continue to get business due to no other stores in the area. Straighten up or move out!!!

Great location in terms of conveniently being on the main road and in walking distance from so many businesses. Employees seem nice. But I dont think anyone (including the employees) know when this place closes. Google says 9pm. A sheet of paper on the store's door says in marker that it closes at 8pm. But I cant tell you how many times Ive gotten there before 7:20pm and theyve already locked the doors? Once, okay fine maybe they were short staff or there was an emergency.... but this has happened 5+ times to me!

The people that work there I've known for years from shopping at that location which was a family dollars before it was turned into a Dollar General store. I shop there as well as my mom and other family and friends. I shop there for clothing as well as food and my kids love the foods that are sold there.

Friendly workers store is bright and customer friendly, most of the time you can get in and out. Hand Baskets can use some weekly cleaning, but other than that, good experience!

Some are cleaner than others but they don't pay attention if anyone is up front if they are putting stuff away and u have to wait and sometimes it takes a few mins to realize someone is up front but they seen you shop around.

Rude & lazy employees. Always closing hours before proper times lack of products & knowledge of items. And always on their cell phones & or arguing about personal issues,boyfriends etc. Store dirty & out dated products when they do get them in. This store is on East Warrington ave Pgh Pa 15210.

Love that the store is in walking distance from home but some of the workers are rude and not helpful at all. Plus the selection is not all great.. How do you not have place mats or curtains in your store? Need more of a variety

Maybe if the employees weren't on the phone they would have time to ring out customers, put the merchandise away that is crowding the aisles and mop that filthy floor. Smells like a dumpster in there

I always love dollar stores Dollar Generals pretty cool I will say this though it's so busy it's always a mess and a lot of times they're sold out of what you looking for but in the end most of the prices you can't be that's why I gave him 4 stars because I said most of the prices some of their stuff is more expensive than other places but the staff there is great friendly and when they get a line at the counter they always call another register to get open so you never waiting too long I go there every day

Garbage pit. It's like they just unload pallets in the middle of the store and leave them there. The most unorganized mess of a retail store I have ever walked into in my entire life.

The store was a little cluttered in some of the aisles .However this Dollar General was fully stocked especially in the freezer and cooler sections and the store offers a variety of merchandise.

Can always find what I'm looking for. Some areas are a bit sloppy, but I think it's from customers treating it like a junk store and just putting things wherever they want to.

These are discount stores, usually in "urban" areas. You can get regular items like cleaning supplies much cheaper than in grocery stores.
