The Fresh Market is always immaculate. The variety of products extensive. The meats and produce departments are always fresh and well stocked. You can always find what you need and more. The staff is always helpful. I love the fact that you can navigate the store easily. What more could a shopper ask for?

Just discovered this store and I’m loving it. Similar to Whole Foods with more specialty items. Produce is always fresh and lovely. Bagged salads are very good. Bakery items are always fresh and flavorful. Never crowded, very chill and easy.

Every Thursday my buddy Leo and I have lunch at the Fresh Market, we have a great time with Lori and Sabrina. Everyone in the deli is so pleasant and the sushi is superb.

This is a nice specialty market with high-quality selections.I've had to alter my recommendation. After being harassed by management approved kids aggressively selling energy services, I haven't returned to this store in over 6 months. They lost a good customer. Some of my photos even have over 200,000 views, too!

Clean establishment, high quality food and fabulous service. As I was being checked out I ran into a problem and to my rescue, a young man named Jarett Scott...yes I asked for his name, I believe we should acknowledge those who put their heart into their work and that he did! This young man knows his job, he explained to me the source of the problem and corrected it. I was so impressed...I'm thinking it's time for a raise. I love this store even more now! I suggest if you have a problem, stop by Jarett's isle, trust me...he knows this place...well! Thank you Jarett!

Really nice store in Chestnut Hill. Wide variety of fresh produce and products. Their biggest competition is Whole Foods and prices are comparable in many things. However, since there isn't a Whole Foods in Chestnut Hill, this is an excellent alternative. We purchased the sashimi grade tuna for $4.99 per on special and it was excellent. Also tried a bottle of "karine & jeff" mushroom soup that I haven't seen anyplace else that was also quite good (see photos for label info). If you're in the area our want to try somethings you won't find at Whole Foods, then give the place a try. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I am actually very found of the grocery store, but today was a HUGE disappointment. I went to the store around 5:15ish for a rotisserie chicken. Generally from past experiences a fresh batch of chick is ready around 4:30pm daily for the dinner rush. I went in with my 2 year old daughter so my wife could stay home with the 6 month old. I would have preferred to go earlier, but most parents can relate. When I asked a staff member they replied they sold out and a fresh batch would be ready in an hour. Why would you server a new batch so late! I am not disappointed in the store employee. I am disappointed with the store manager and leadership, who could have been helpful started cooking more chicken earlier. Most high end grocery stores also have the cashier asking if the shopper found everything they were looking for. Which did not happen. A thumbs down experience and ruined our dinner plans.

This is a fantastic market with a great butcher and seafood counter. They have prime cuts of filet, ny strip, and rib-eye for when we’re willing to splurge. The produce is always fresh and the entire store well-stocked with staples as well as items and foods you would find in a typical grocery store. This is basically like a mini-Whole Foods but less crowded.

This is one of my favorite stores. They may be a little more expensive than other grocery stores but their quality and selection are what sets them apart from the others. It is nice that certain days of the week different meats are on special. Their seafood selection is very good. All of the employees I have ever interacted with are knowledgeable and very polite. I could go on for days about all of the wonderful attributes about the fresh market. It is definitely a store everyone should check out at least once!!

First time there, nice invirment.The staff was pleasant and helpful. I purchased scones which I love and double cream with it. I also brought hot honey which I see all over Tictok. They are a bit pricey but...well worth it and u can't find products like these at other markets.

Local market place that you want to go to get here local specialties parking may be a little bit tricky just keep going further back and you’ll see a larger parking lot they have a great selection of fresh foods and flowers much less expensive than you’ll find on Germantown Avenue

Always a pleasure!! The Chestnut Hill store is always stocked and clean and serves everyone well. Kindest cashiers and those in meat and seafood are very accommodating. The floral and vegetable department is top notch. I love shopping there.

I really like this store and the products you selll. However, my expectations are consistent products. Recently I have been purchasing permafrost salads to take with me when I visit my husband at the hospital. My favorite one is the goat cheese, blueberries,strawberry salad.. the salad I purchased yesterday had abundant berries but a handful of lettuce. I was hoping for a balance of lettuce and fruit. It was more of a fruit salad with garnish. As I stated, I really like this salad and am willing to pay $9.00, just want some consistency.

I like the shopping experience but Fresh Market has stopped being a full-service grocery store due to pricing. It serves more as a convenience store for NW PHL locals. Many items are grossly overpriced, with only sale items falling into normal price range. $200 at FM buys you same quality and quantity as $125 at Trader Joe's and $150 at Weavers Way coop.

I like everything but the often rather high prices. Sale prices are good. Bakery goods, especially the nice variety of cookies, are tasty and reasonably priced. Deli salads are tasty. Staff are always pleasant, as is the physical environment. Very little in cat food and supplies.

Wonderful supermarket. I come from the city every week. Unfortunately the personnel at the meat counter thinks they work at Home Depot. They shout at each other from one end of the counter to the other, ignore customers, give attitude, encourage people that don’t stand in line. It’s totally out of line with the rest of the store. The people at the checkout are very nice. Too bad the manager doesn’t take care of it.

Great selection of fresh fruits, veggies and pantry items, including lots of organics. I was able to find range of items attentive to culturally diverse population. I visit mainly for small selections of fresh veggies and pantry items to supplement larger grocery store shopping, and have found nice selections. Have not tried meat or fish counter yet, but noticed a variety available that appeared fresh, and the attendants were engaging and knowledgeable when questioned about items. Prepared foods available as well; have not tried yet. I'll update when we try both. I'd like few more cheese options, especially fresh cheese such as oaxaca. Store is cute, has relaxed inviting vibe, nicely laid out. The staff on the floor are very friendly, upbeat, and attentive; the staff at checkout could use a little improvement to match that of their colleagues. Nice place to shop. Update: for prepared foods, I've considered several times, but do not like hygiene issue of staff handling prepared foods without gloves. I'll mention to managers and hope for attention to this. Down to 3 stars from 4 for this.

The service here is excellent. The man at the meat counter was kind enough to tell us the weekly discounts and what days to get the best prices. We had no idea we could shop so affordably. There are regular discounts on everything from porterhouse steaks ($9.99 a pound) to lobster tails ($7.99 a piece)! The woman who checked us out was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

I love this market it is literally the best market in chestnut hill. it’s small inside but don’t let that fool you they literally have almost anything you could need. it’s clean and I love the sushi bar always fresh. the fact there are plenty of organic options definitely makes them stand out now if only they had a baby section then I’d never have to go to Whole Foods again

I was so happy when fresh market opened. But I find them overpriced and their bakery..,,,well let’s say pastries look better than they taste. Breads such as the croissants are tasteless and doughy and not buttery and flaky the way they should be.Every time I go there I spend more money than I should be charged. Everything costs more and its not quality. Overall needs improvements.

It's the perfect cross between Whole Foods and the Food Source. Their salads are very good. And, they carry Gut Shot. The weekly $25 meal kits are a great value and the ingredients are fresh.

Thank you to the most compassionate employee at the Fresh Market who checked out my groceries yesterday. I was having the worst week, was both physically and mentally exhausted (and it showed). She helped me with everything, and when she had a question, she said, "I'm sorry to ask, I know you're tired".Then, she gave me her employee discount. It really just turned things around for me, and I need her to know that her act of kindness was so very much appreciated.
