Ok so the 5 stars reviews are employees fake reviews. All the low star reviews are the representation of the store. This store needs to figure something else out instead of criminalizing every customer that walks in. I have shopped at this store since it opened. Never had any issues. Never did anything wrong. I could tell you every person who has worked there and gone from the day it’s open. They have cameras in every isle but I came in there with reusable bag for the first time and the told us we couldn’t come in unless we gave them our bag.If someone were going to steal they can catch on all of the camera. Being asked to give them our bag ruined every other chance of us coming back here. We gave them the bag but ended up canceling our shopping trip and only buying one thing. Because they made us to feel like we were going to steal.We felt like we were treated like criminals. And it actually traumatized us. Lock stuff up get more employees but you are doing wrong treating customers who’ve been there since it’s opened like criminals. Haven’t been able to stop thinking about how it felt to be treated that way. Order your stuff online. Don’t bother with this store.

First time visiting this location. I'm not sure how the store operates Monday to Friday, but tonight wasn't bad at all. Bigger than other locations that I'm used to visiting. It was quiet, the cashier was very polite. There were carts to use and they work well, there were enough baskets stacked as well. Whatever I came for I was able to get. I was satisfied with the sale as well. Tidy spot.

I have tried several times to do business with this store, since I moved in the area a year ago. Unfortunately the employees are awful and rude!! Specially dealing with young children, one of the employees told my daughter after buying items from the store, that she will not give her a bag because she needs to save bags for her customers exactly what is my daughter? when she’s buying product from the store a customer!!! This is not the first or worst encounter. I decided today not to let any of my family members shop at the dollar general located on 800 North 48th Street street even though I’m walking distance away from it. I can not support such ignorance and disrespect!! It definitely not worth my time or money. I rather pay full price although some of there items is overpriced! I wish I could take my one star away😫😫😫😫😫😤

This location is usually quiet, you can get in and out in a timely manner. They have been better with keeping new stock. I used to not be able to find anything due to empty shelves. The cashiers are nice and helpful. This store is huge and you can get the bulk of you shopping list completed here.

This store is dirty and never stocked properly. Sometimes I go to checkout and they tell me I can't purchase a certain product because its not ringing up on the register. Be careful and make sure you check the expiration date on perishable items and medications as well!! I bought Flonase, got it home and realized it had expired 3 months prior!!! Surprisingly employees are very friendly and helpful!!!

Conveniently located with a parking lot so you don’t have to worry about street parking. They always have everything I need. Sometimes the lines are really long but they move pretty quick and the staff our friendly and respectful. During the coronavirus pandemic I didnt have any trouble finding toilet paper here either so that’s a plus!

Lines are always too long they wait to the line is so long before they finally ask a cashier to come up and give help. Merchandise that's on the shelves is one price when you get to the cash register it's another price and they don't honor it even though it was 5 curtains on the same rack saying $5 and the cashier said that whatever comes up in the system that's what you pay that being said the sales associates when your stocking aren't properly putting the merchandise in the right place I can see if it was just one there someone could have easily put it back in the wrong place but if it's a whole roll there and it's clearly marked I don't like the Dollar General at 48th and brown because they're never stock well or when they run out of items it takes them such a long time to get the items restocked and I'm not talking about seasonal I'm talking about regular stuff.😐😑🙄😏😣😥

Cheaper than Family Dollar for household items, plus a way better selection of groceries. Sometimes the shelves could be better stocked, but overall I really like this store. Cashiers are always nice too.

I would give a 5 because I checked 3 other dollar generals and no other one had what I was looking for. The item was on sale and today was the last day for the sale. But it was only one cashier with a long line. She was very nice and went as fast as she could. I don't fault her but the store for not having help.

Very clean & well organized. Could use more visible price signs on some shelved items, but very spacious store. Staff is pleasant & helpful.

I bought juice that was shelf priced at $2.75 but it scanned $2.95. When I mentioned it to the cashier she tells me that I saved $3 off my bill. That had nothing to do with the juice. I doubled checked the price of the juice and told her again. She said, Okay, but you saved $3. A guy who worked there asked what happened, I told him, he gives me $.20 out of his pocket. The point was that it scanned differently from the shelf. Don't treat people like they're being petty about spending their hard earned money.

You will be surprise what type of stuff you find here. I like going to dollar general for my summer bbq sets.. And trays, they also sell Carpet doctor carpet cleaner was going all the way to Wal-Mart now i dont.

It ok. They have great prices, but the store is filthy. Looks like the floor have not been moped in years.. lots of spill marks that seem to be left untreated attended.

The place is well stocked it just does not have enough workers the manager will open up a cashier line when is 15 or more people in one line and they, re painfully slow!

This dollar store is one of those misleading not-really-dollar-store stores whose prices range from $1-$5. It also has more food than most dollar stores.I was searching for small toys as party favors and couldn't really find any. It had plenty of more expensive, larger toys in prep for Christmas.

Very unorganized. Empty crates about the floor to catch water when it wasnt even raining. Appears short staffed but the staff that was there was very approachable and pleasant.

This is a good store to find many things you need for your home, car, pet, ect.. Customer service is friendly.. I go to this store every chance I get....Love it. ❤

Large shopping store. Great prices didnt intend to purchase anything from here but the multiple sales they had just inside the corridor had me intrigued. Soda prices are better didnt seem to reflect the beverage tax on certain brands of soda

This location is so/so. Things are not always stocked so sometimes you may find what you need and other times you may not. I cant say all the people that work here are rude, but i go there and the experience that i recieve is less the stan stellar.

The store is never well stocked and the hours are not correct. I went on a Sunday night at 5 minutes to 8pm... the hours say they are open until 9, however the doors were already locked and the employee who saw me essentially shooed me away from the door.
