Absolutely a wonderful location to shop for just about anything you can think of buying. The staff is super friendly and helpful, yes there may be a long line here and there but it is mostly a speedy check out.

good store for all sorts of things. very low prices. I looked for hooks for clothes and didn't find them. But I bought cheap LED bulbs. in addition to household goods, they also sell food.

It's a decent store for all sorts of things you can buy at a dollar store. The lines can be a bit long sometimes and there would only be one cashier at those times.

Theresa the store manager is an angel. She gave me 10/10 customer service and during these hard times when you can’t find anything (toilet paper, bleach, Lysol) , she makes sure that all of her customers are treated fairly and tries to help out as best she can to make sure everyone can find what they need. This was my first time at this particular Dollar General and its the best customer service I’ve received from any of the stores!

From my experiences and what I've seen it is a decent store that could be much better as it has what I think is a great location. It would be a shame if it fails due to management and poor layout. I will keep the poor layout opinions to myself unless someone cares to ask about them, however the management...The store is underemployed which has caused empty shelves for the more in demand products. Cashier (from what I assume) has to shut down the register when the register is out of their line of sight, causing the register to slow down and freeze when rushing to sign in and ring customers up at the same time. There should be enough employees so that there is always a cashier with the register in sight. I guess one thing I have to mention about layout, is the front of the store could/should have the placement in a way that the cashier can stock/front products while still being able to see the register and respond quickly to customers ready to purchase their items.I don't mean to tell you how to run your store, which I'm sure spends a lot of money for people to inform you on things like this... But I live locally and I'm a fan of the Dollar General Franchise as a whole. Being local I am writing this review in hopes that someone with the ability to make changes will do so because I along with many others would benefit as a shopper if the store grows and sticks around.[ 11749 Bustleton Ave.Philadelphia, PA 19116 ]

Wasted time wasted effort nothing is qworse than being lied to about money gave and no money in change equivalent all the money not used for a item kept with arrogant attitude like change wasn't implied in buinesss transaction very belligerent

Good place for the prices. For anyone who hasn't shopped here before, barely anything is on sale for a Dollar, please don't confuse it for a Dollar store. There are very few items I have seen that are higher than other stores. But there are some. Overall good and some of the friendlier cashiers I have come across.

Tall blond woman cashier in this store is extremely rude and has a worked up attitude as if someone just stole her purse... see below for another review about her, if this is the same person. Scans stuff with agitation, rushes the transaction. Honestly it seems like she might be on cocaine or some other stimulant, I've seen druggies behave like this. Pretty uncomfortable experience buying stuff from this store because of her. I will record her name the next time I am there so hopefully management fires her.

Love this store . So convenient for all your basic needs . Some things a little high .. but for the most part everything is great priced , from throw rugs, accessories, pet food ,laundry, can goods, gift cards ,you name it. Very convenient for me on my way home from work.

DG had always been my top fav store,I was extremely happy when it opened its new location on Bustleton. It is very close to my house. I visited this store every other Saturday. So I came there today. Found most of needed things, and came to the register to pay. There was only one register working,and when lady before me completed her purchase I came and the Cashier (That had no nametag on) skinny blonde with glasses was VERY RUDE. She was all worked up and asked me very rudely:"DID ANYONE CALL YOU?" I returned to in the line maybe 2-3 mins I was called. I had various stuff and also 2 cartons of Dasani(24 in each). She started to throw all I had into the bags. And after she did not even manage to try to scan my water in my cart. She was pretty loud and had a lot of attitude and told me 8n an aggressive voice for me to raise my water to be scanned,although other cashiers try to do it in a cart even have a code above the register to scan. Trust me I KNOW THAT PPL can have bad day but this is not a legit excuse to be extremely rude with me. Dear DG I think you would be better off having a session with your employees to remind that it is not thd toilet paper that buys itself the PEOPLE BUY IT and that cashiers have to be more respectful. Very dissappointed.

Love DG selection and prices. People, take advantage of the DG app from your phone. Can save lots of $$$ with their digital coupons. Nice store. My grandkids/my daughter and l live it!

They are way over priced things are all over the. Place the manager is very nice and does try her very best to keep the place in order! ....main thing is the prices ive been to the other dollar general and i compared prices and this one is way more over priced theres only 1 dollar Isle I just think the prices could go down alot more than what they are and amd more dollar item's!

Clean, nice store, cool, friendly employees... a rarity at a dollar store these days... i like this Dollar General MORE than the 9808 Bustleton Ave location up the street! I like them both honestly, this one is a tad bit closer to me though!

Very clean store and everything was organized. The cashier wasn't aware of using manufacturers coupons as well as the Family Dollar digital coupons. 🤦🏾‍♀️😤

Not happy at all, this site says it's open till 10 p.m. and the store is only open till 9 p.m. and I just paid $5 in an Uber to get here. And now I have to pay an Uber to get home.

Great place to get cleaning supplies, house decor, arts and crafts, or even just coloring books!! They even sell wild birdfeeders and food!
