Very friendly and knowledgeable employees. We went in there to look at some dog toys and were sidetracked by a dog named Star, that was up for adoption. She’s been there since Thanksgiving and was a very sweet dog. Someone wanted her to get adopted so bad that they put down $100 towards the cost of adoption, making her adoption only $250. The store was organized nothing seemed out of place. They also had a variety of treats to choose from.

I've read some reviews before choosing who would groom Johnny and which location I'd go to. I chose Erin at the 1032 Pine Street location and she does an excellent job every time. I've never once had a complaint of Johnny, only ever hearing how much of a good boy he was during his grooming session! With hair, we all have to realize that it really is just hair, it will grow back - I loved every hair cut my little dude would get. His summer cuts are my favorite - looks like a brand new dog and he even acts more so like a puppy after his grooming! Thank you Erin! -Mia & Johnny.

Nice little shop. Happy they have a freezer, be it ever so tiny and overpacked, for raw food. There can't be airflow in that thing. Staff is always kind of meh. Neither rude nor friendly. Toys are low quality and hokey. It's a "I'm in the area and need dog food" kind of place

Just had my Pomeranian and chihuahua taken care of by Brian. Very sweet and attentive guy. Recommended some good products to help with my dogs separation amxiety. It's rare that I go to this location but was glad that I did today. Excellent customer service please keep up the good work

I visited the store today. I was greeted very warmly and assisted in very polite, professional manner.There is so many beautiful items at the store and I was pleasantly surprised at their very reasonable prices. Very happy with my purchase and overall the entire experience. Will definitely come back and recommend to others.

Love this place! They have a great selection of toys and treats for both dogs and cats. They also have an excellent selection of food that is carefully selected to make sure that it is good quality and safe for pets.The best part, however, is their groomer Erin. She does such a fantastic job with our dog. We always love the way she looks after a groom. She is also very patient and gentle, so it is not such a traumatic experience for your pet. Can't recommend her highly enough.

I have been a long-time customer of DSP Pine; over the years I've had my dogs groomed there. I have to say that grooming service has really fallen off over the past several months. Awhile ago I made appointments for my 2 dogs to receive a full grooming; when I got there they said they only booked for a wash. I don't book for washes as I can bathe them at home, and was very disappointed they couldn't be groomed that day. I made another appointment a couple weeks later; they called to cancel and re-schedule. The re-schedule was also ultimately cancelled as their groomer called off. Whomever called me (possibly the manager?) was very apologetic and offered a 25% discount for the next time I used their services. When I did finally get the dogs groomed the 25% off was not applied. I took both dogs in today for full grooms; the groomer was significantly late and not the least bit apologetic as far as I could tell. The other employee did apologize. They are great in other services and carry the special food my dog needs; I'm sure I'll continue to shop there but am likely going to look for another grooming service.

**DO NOT** take your dog here for grooming!!!! I heard excellent things about the Rittenhouse location, but the wait was long so I decided to go here thinking it would also be a good choice. Not only did the groomer NOT listen, I was very, very put off by overall attitude and yelling in the grooming area that I heard while shopping in the store. When I contacted the owner about my experience, he responded saying that "my allegations" were "false" in a very, very nasty email. Not sure if this is the norm for customer service here, but I will never be returning, nor will I ever recommend sending friends here.

Everyone working here is super friendly. We have been in twice to get our dog's nails clipped and they were able to take us right away and did a great job both times. They also have super fancy dog treats that are shaped like cookies and cakes which make a great gift for dog lovers.

Just had a bad encounter with the staff who insinuated I had showed up for grooming without an appointment (I did make an appointment but she grilled me about who I spoke with and what time). Said I probably had the wrong store (why did I know the groomer's name??). Then rather than addressing the issue by helping me reschedule, proceeded to make me wait while she checked out other people who arrived after I had.

Tried to make appointment in summer and they are very busy with a long waiting time. But when the weather cooled, and I tried again it was next day when I got my dog groomed and realized why it was so busy. They are just great. Not overpriced and not under friendly. Just right. Employees are friendly and helpful and my dog looked wonderful. The next appt. was just for a bath and she did Yinnie's little face and and I was very happy. And when we walk past there, she recognizes the store front and wants to go in. That's a real plus.

Has most of what you need for basic pet supplies. Certainly some of the more specialized items they may not have (wish I could give 4.5 stars!) but there is a decent variety in what they do carry for cats and dogs. I love the store cat concept of this pet store chain! The cat at this store is a senior boi named Finnegan and he is friendly and living his best life. The man that is usually at the store when I go in is knowledgeable and friendly. A solid local spot!

Great experience! Their groomer, Erin, seems to really care about the dogs, she cares about how they feel throughout the whole groom, how they look, and really treats them with respect. I always worried about dropping my dog off somewhere but I feel very computer droopy my Jenny girl off at doggy styles!

Erin groomed our teacup poodle. She is very nice. However, we are very unhappy with the grooming. The trimming around our poodle's face is uneven, and she was not able to groom our pup in the style we discussed. Since this was our first time at Doggie Stype Pets Pine, we looked at pictures to ensure clarity on the grooming style. It is unfortunate that she did not have the skill to translate that understanding to her grooming technique.

Went to get my gf's chihuahua's nails clipped.She called ahead to make sure the groomer was there. Once it was confirmed, I went there and they quickly took care of it; 10 bucks and nicely done. I bought a doggy cookie treat as well.I don't think you NEED an appointment (at least for a quick thing like nail clipping on a small dog), but it is smart to call ahead to make sure the groomer is there and to get an idea if there will be a wait.You might have to call ahead to make an appointment for some other, bigger grooming service.Browsing through the store and looking at the items, the prices seemed reasonable for the area; but, truthfully, I don't really have a frame of reference.The place has a very friendly staff, lots of pet supplies, loyalty program, and it was a pleasant experience in my one visit.

This place is great. My dog loves it and picks out her own toys. The selection is good more high end so if your looking for a can of Alpo you won't find it here. They have the top brands including raw dogfood and some smaller brands that are excellent and they special order the dog food my dog is used too and good for puppy's that are large breed dogs. An employee there recommended it because it's not super high in calcium which is great for large breed puppies so they don't grow too fast resulting in bone and hip issues and even hip dysplasia. I love this kind of info and was sold. So they special order it just for my dog. Now that's special. They are not cheap but not terribly expensive in terms of mark up. I don't feel like I am getting gouged.The employees are great. Have lots of information and always let me check stuff out to see if my dog likes it.They have dog grooming on site and trimmed my dogs nails for $10 bucks and it was a walk in.My most recent purchase was a dog parka and some booties. I never thought I would be one to dress my dog but she has short hair and their selection is fantastic and carefully selected.The big bonus is they are next to a dog park and we always stop in and shop and hit the dog park. They are very cool about picking stuff up on the way back home so I don't have to haul it to the dog park.Great store. Cute name. Awesome locations in the neighborhood not at some big mall or mega giant store.

We stopped by after visiting Morris Animal Refuge with intentions of adopting a dog we just visited. The staff that was there gave us many different samples of dog food and recommended treats to try for training. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend! I want to start off by saying that I am a VERY HAPPY customer of Doggie Style. I buy dog food, toys and have paid for countless premium grooming services with multiple locations.Today was my first negative experience with Doggy styles. Specifically at the 1032 Pine St location with the groomer Erin. If you are in the market for a grooming service DO NOT go to Erin. She was verbally aggressive towards my puppy, screaming at the top of her lungs to get her to stop barking and overall created a scary environment for my pup. God knows what she does behind closed doors with my puppy or anyones puppy for that matter.In addition to that, she was very rude to me because my puppy pooped during her grooming service (most likely because she was scared). I am not the type to write reviews, but I feel like I owe it to the dog community in Philadelphia. If you are looking for a groomer, go to Doggy Style, just not with Erin. Thank you!

When I came in she's already juggling with 4 different customers plus their pawbabies. Can you believe? She helped me with smile and bubbly attitude. What a rockstar and I'm impressed. Love this place! While its small enough the manager and staff recognize you and your pets every time you go in, it's also big enough where they can get anything you need/want and can even order things for you they don't normally carry. Definitely a favorite of all the locations throughout the city!

I brought my cats in today for a bath. I left to run some errands then come to pick them up. When I got home, one of my cats had both front paws bleeding and they didn’t mention anything when I was picking up. This is unprofessional for a grooming place and I will never come back again.
