This CVS is located on Harbison Avenue. I went there to purchase a portable diffuser which I had seen on a previous visit. Customer service seemed a bit slow that day. I had to ring the bell to get my item because it was locked up. It took a couple rings for an employee to come. I then proceeded to the cash register to check out and had to wait five minutes for a customer service representative. I had an over the counter card which I cannot use at self checkout. Happy to get my item but that's very slow service although they were pleasant and grateful.

CVS at Harbison/Bustleton in Philadelphia, PA has everything from Makeup to nail files and ice cream LOCKED UP. I used to have a pleasant time shopping for makeup and stuff. I just looked through the clear glass door at some items and then at the button to call for an associate and lost my eagerness and spirit to shop. I don’t want to be rushed to decide my purchase by an associate that is standing behind me waiting for me to decide because he has other people pushing a button to unlock other cases. As if there are enough associates around to help. If you’re thinking of heading out to this CVS, I recommend finding another. Hopefully this won’t happen at all locations. I used to enjoy my shopping trips there.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great customer service! They help you find anything and there is always a staff in the front just Incase you need anything.PHARMACY: Fast and Friendly. Even when they are very busy they are pretty fast and getting you in and out.LOCATION: They are clean and organized. They have a bathroom, optical in the back of the store, photo center, redbox and propane tanks.

A long line to pick up my prescription. When I waited 15 minutes in line to speak to the pharmacist. She said it will take 10-15 minutes for them to prepare it. So I decided to wait. After 15 minutes I went back to the line and asked if the prescription was ready yet. She checked and told me they don’t have the eye drops in stock. Back and forth wasted almost an hour didn’t get my prescription. Very disappointed.

I bought a conditioner that was already opened and my mom took it back to exchange it and was told the full price had to be paid for it because my coupon couldn’t be added, which is insane!

This location needs to hire more staff and train them better too. There are never enough people working at any given time, especially in the pharmacy. It is a high volume pharmacy, and the staff struggle to keep up with all the orders which in turn causes poor customer service. Mistakes are made, nothing is ever ready on time, the staff you do get to talk to know nothing, overall it is a poor experience here.

The worst dealing towards the client, I will not return this store more, as it is possible that "Manager Manager" who asks him kindly as he could make me easier for me and there was a sign that said "I feel the key does not serve", that person as manager of A store should solve the problems and if it can not at least be a bit friendly with the client, terrible experience at this pharmacy and almost ended up fighting with this guy! Do not go for that store ever! I will report it😡😡😡😡😡😡

I came to this CVS location to reload my net spend debit card on 10/27/23 around 9:13pm. I was on a mission to reload my card for a friend of mine who needed a few bucks so I was not taking in anything or anyone but the front counter. I walked in and went straight to the check out counter only to be greeted by no one. I stood there for roughly 3 or 4 mins before I was serviced. Here comes this young lady who I passed by as i first entered and passed the self checkout but I did not look at her. She was in my peripheral vision on the left side. She was hanging around at the self check out doing absolutely nothing. As I was retrieving my money from my purse, she comes over to me and ask me a "closed" question. Do I need something? In my mind, I said "service". Also, how she asked me was almost like she was a street dealer or something. So then I gazed over at the self checkout where she originally was and couldn't understand why she allowed me to stand there as long as I did before she approached me. I had no idea she was a store associate. She stood there as long as I stood at the checkout counter to now ask what I needed. The courteous and professional way is the only way to help a customer. How can I help you?, or I would of took, "Is there something I can assist you with"? Something other than an obvious question. She needs more training in customer service in 4 different angles. I told her, "I had no idea you were an associate". She had a curt response."You seen me standing there ". I said to her, "I didnt even look at you when I came in". The whole point is, a customer is not suppose to hunt down a store associate for assistance. Especially if the customer is standing at the checkout counter. If you ignorantly allow a customer to stand at the counter for a lengthy period of time while your standing around watching them and waiting for them to get your attention then you need not to work in customer service. By the way her name is Omotolani "aka" Lani. I also felt quite insulted when she held two twenty dollar bills I gave her in the air. A young caucasian female who usually checks me out at night never did that. I would understand if it was a bigger bill such as $100 or $50, I would understand. In close, there is a young caucasian girl who usually works at night around this time. By now she would know me by "reload girl". For many recent nights I've reloaded my card with her and she serviced me with a smile and courtesy and never made an offensive gesture or remark in servicing me. Maybe she could give "Lani" some guidance in customer service. Dont allow a customer who is standing at the checkout while your standing nearby just watching and waiting to be approached for service. Dont insult customers by holding up small denominations in front of their face. Highly offensive!! Dont argue in any way with a customer.

Pharmacy and everyone in it just suck.This is the only pharmacy that will not allow you to pay cash for your controlled substance prescription. Nor will they transfer it elsewhere!I get it, that some people abuse the system. But CVS you're punishing everyone and holding our electronic scripts hostage! If you don't want to fill a legitimate perfectly legal prescription, then at the very least transfer it! WTHBe sure to have plenty of time, great insurance, and a Doctor with extra time on their hands to deal with this place’s nonsense!To think I almost transferred all my meds here. Ugh.CVS step it up- we have choices ya know.

Been to the Minute Clinic at this location twice, the clinician was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful both times. Also asked if they sold toilet paper, was sent to an aisle that didn’t actually have any. Couldn’t find it anywhere in the store. CVS is garbage and this location is no exception. My local pharmacy is great and a breath of fresh air compared to chain BS. I hate CVS with my whole heart.

After 20+ years using this pharmacy I have to switch. I waited in a long line yesterday for my meds just for the pharmacy tech to stare at me and hit a button that says “the pharmacy is closed for lunch”. If you’re gonna waste your time at the window telling people you’re at lunch for 15 minutes when you’re clearly not you might as well be giving people their prescriptions.

I am type 1 diabetic and I generally get my medicine filled once every 2 months everytime In the last 2 years since I started going here it has been nothing but 1 issue after another they never notify me of issues with my medication being filled never notify me if I run out of a script they don't tell me if there was an issue with my insurance they will just cancel and expect me to figure/find out what the issue is there have been multiple times where I have to go a day or more without my medicine they are unhelpful and are constantly hiring new staff that don't even know what they are doing or I guess not being trained properly and can't even explain why my medication can't be filled when there is a issue I have to walk 2 miles to the building just to be told in person what went wrong I will definitely be changing pharmacy after today's yet again mess up with no communication if I could give 0 star I would this place is horrible

This CVS and (as far as I know) Only this CVS has this policy that u are NOT permitted to pay 'out-of-pocket' for ANY controlled substances. And my insurance company wouldn't cover the cost either- forcing me to cancel my prescription that was electronically transmitted. Have my doctor resend the prescription to a different pharmacy and of course I accidentally chose the most local pharmacy to my home... That is also closed on the weekends! So now I'll be in pain until at least Monday... And since Friday morning after emergency oral surgery appointment. Been a great holiday weekend 🤒🤕😩😖😣😕😩😭!!!! Thanks again for your caring of my health needs.. MOTHERFU@#&RS!!!

This review is for the pharmacy and the store. The Minute Clinic experience was wonderful. Since I was already in the store, I just had the Minute Clinic staff sent the prescription to the CVS pharmacy located steps away. They didn't ask for my insurance information so I assumed that had it from a prior visit--they didn't. The staff (more than one person) had trouble processing at the register. When indicated to the staff I had a hearing problem and if they pulled their mask down, it would be easier for me to hear, they didn't. Finally got the purchase---will not use this pharmacy again. Finished my shopping and went to the front to check out---no one ever came over to the self check out where I was having an issue. So I set my basket aside and left. Will return to use the minute clinic but will have the prescription sent to my regular pharmacy. To say I am not impressed would be an understatement.

Went to the government website for COVID Testing & this particular location was listed for providing free testing. I spoke to someone on the phone prior to making an appointment and they said they only provide “free” testing to those that are traveling and out of pocket costs $200 for a test! Not even during high pandemic were the out-of-pocket costs so high. They are just trying to steal money for being a company that already makes billions.

When I have email confirmation and 2 separate days for my prescription which I needed today and was told on the 13rh that it would be ready on the 17th. O ly to call and be told they never received an requests and the order is discontinued. And the people that looked at my prescription didn't know what they really had to look at? How do you have someone in the pharmacy that doesn't know what they should be looking at? They dropped the ball multiple other times as well... taking my entire prescription out of there and going somewhere else. It's ridiculous it took me to call and find out. They should have called after I requested this item on the 8th and 10th of this month to have this situated.

This pharmacy is horrible! First they said they were out of stock of my son’s antibiotic, which was false,they just made an error on the item number. Then said it would take 30 mins to fill. When I called in thirty mins they said 2 hours! And that I would get a text when it’s ready. I called 2 hours later and it’s ready but did not receive a text! I asked for a text to be sent so I do not have issues picking it up. ( I have tried to pick this up twice today, with a rude snarky person at the window telling me to wait for text message that says it’s ready) Still no text. Their customer service by phone and at the window is horrific! Use a different pharmacy by whatever means!

Rude on the phone, Incompetent or undertrained staff. Poor communication amongst their own team in person as well. Was made to wait 2 separate times for a medication that turns out wasn't even in stock! So they utterly wasted my time. No apology either. They did not seem to care one iota. Experience was so bad that I switched to a local mom & pop pharmacy where they actually treat you like a human being. Would not recommend this particular CVS branch. Management must be terrible at their job here.

If I can I hope give it 0 star. The experience is so horrible. The service is so horrible. Two weeks ago, I was ready to order my prescription, and CVS said I have no more prescription, I must call my family to order refill prescription. OK...I call my doctor almost 2 weeks to refill prescription(this is another terrible experience). Fortunately, I ordered the prescription on 12/15 before I have no more medicine.I ordered delivery the medicine on 12/15 located at CVS 6501 Harbison AVE. And it show me I will get my medicine on 12/18. But still now, The package still on the way. I am no sure when I can get the package.Already late for 2 days. When I call CVS today. They let me call my insurance to order another refill. Excuses me? First, I have no more medicine already, there is no time to order another order. Second, This is CVS’s problem and the post office’s problem. Why I should call my insurance to order another refill? Third, the service is terrible, a lady hung up the call. I don’t know what should I do now and I have no more medicine already...Terrible Experience and Horrible Service...Don’t go the CVS located at 6501 Harbison AVE...

I cannot say anything positive about this store. I will give credit to the overworked and obviously undertrained teenagers managing it who are doing their best. Every time I have visited the store recently, there are little to no staff. The interactions we've had have only come when we've had to ask for help when the self checkouts do not work. Last Sunday, all but one were either down or glitching and there was one kid running back and forth while also trying to ring up everyone who didn't use self checkout. The store is an eyesore from outside and management is nowhere to be found. When asked who we could speak with above the store manager, we were told it was pointless because the regional didn't care about his staff or the store and only about belittling them. We will no longer be using this location for our prescriptions or quick trips despite it being close by. Upper management is obviously not too concerned as the staff made that clear to us. Maybe it is time to look for someone new to oversee their store as this person isn't do their job.

The front staff and manager are totally untrained. I wanted to buy candy that was bogo50% off, the sign was there and it popped up on the register but for some reason it wasn’t taking the money off. We had to wait several minutes for a manager who was outside smoking. The easiest solution would be to pricy modify one of the bags, but instead he tried to issue me extra bucks and did so unsuccessfully multiple times. We ended up leaving without the candy, so frustrating to waste 20 mins bc you can’t take the time to train your staff.
