At first it was very overwhelming with all the people there, and it was a Saturday, so I wasn’t too suprised. However, an employee came over, picked up my puppy playing with her and said “It’s crazy out here, we can bring her to the small dog area.” I was happy and grateful and it was less noisy and a great amount of space still! It was a GREAT experience, was able to go to the cafe and get some food and enjoy myself knowing my puppy was safe. Such a great experience and can’t wait to come back!

Bark Social in Manayunk is great, the people, the dogs 🐕 , the food is good depending on what you get. They have sine spirits and beer. They have social events for the dog parents and events for the dogs. The Rangers are great. They really take care of your dogs, the pick on poop.All you have to do is sot back and relax while your dog plays and enjoys. The staff is great. They will even babysit your dog for $10 an hour. One thing, though, they need your dog's shot records, and there is a cost for membership. They have day passes, and they even do doggie birthday parties. It's a great place to take your pet child.There's free parking and it's wheelchair accessible. It is right next to the Regal movie theater on Main Street. Come on down and take a look!!!

If you’re a dog lover or own a dog that likes to play with other dogs, this is the place to be. The bark rangers are really nice and do a good job of monitoring dog play. They have a covered/heated area where you can eat, along with an indoor area to order drinks and food. The yard is regularly cleaned and the dogs seem to be nice. People were working there in the covered area. They also have events there which I would definitely go to if I lived locally! Overall, the atmosphere is super nice and joyful. Check it out.

This place was extremely accommodating.. All the trainers LOVED him and the customers. One trainer followed him around the entire time making sure he settled in. Especially for first time customers who were nervous this settled our worries. We would come back here every week if we could. Even on the phone, the staff is so nice. The trainers are VERY attentive. Major plus.The beers was amazing, they change every week and it's self serve!! We were such happy dog parents. I would 10000% trust this staff. I would like to try the cocktails next time I'm here. Great parking too !!Thank you Lulu and the staff team at bark social. We will be back.

I was skeptical of this place. Saw them building it and thought that it wouldn’t be too likely to be big success.I was proven wrong. Place is always busy on weekends and evenings. Free to go in, you are just paying for your dog(s). I went a few times to check it out and decided I would likely go enough to make a membership worth it. Great atmosphere of dog minded peeps. Drinks are great and food is decent. The “park rangers” help watch over the dogs so you can relax if you’d like.

Everyone at Bark Social genuinely loves dogs and wants them to be happy. This is a great place to let your dog get their ya-yas out safely while you relax. My dog is a high-energy pooch, so I’m always grateful that the kind and compassionate staff are there to back me up if my dog gets too rowdy. This is a great place if you need accessibility accommodation and convenient parking, but HONESTLY check the Manayunk website for any street festivals. On the weekends this place gets very crowded and busy, and the parking lot fills up. In weekdays Bark Social Manayunk is an oasis of calm. In the winter it’s cozy.Don’t expect the food to be spicy or complex. It’s dog-safe, so they don’t use onions etc. They have a wide range of draft beers and ciders, and cocktails. Best thing ever is to get the coffee and breakfast sandwich on a rainy Saturday morning and let the dogs catch up on the Sniffing Forecast.Parking: Free parking BUT on weekends when there's a street festival in Manayunk, it’s jammity jam jammed. Check the Manayunk website. Otherwise parking is easy.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything except a few tables are on the ground floor level.

Absolutely blown away by this place. There is a Dog Bar in St Pete Florida that we used to go to all the time when my mom lived there. I would talk to the owner and he'd tell me about how difficult it was to open a place like that between insurance, licensing and health codes, not to mention pushback from the neighborhood. Bark Social is very similar except much larger, more staff that watches the dogs, and they have food!! I don't think people realize how difficult getting a food license for this type of operation is and the fact that all the food and drinks are non toxic to dogs (who definitely will steal a slice of pizza or sip of a drink if unattended) is huge. Staff is absolutely wonderful, so unbelievably kind and careful with the dogs. Customer service is top notch. They have a 2 gate system for entry and exit, and the entrance is far enough from the actual dog park portion that you can enter with your dog without them seeing the park in case they get too excited on the leash upon walking up to the place. A majority of people I've seen at Bark Social are dog people and get it, but be mindful it's still a dog park where they run, jump, play in water and go potty. Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet or dirty just in case! I only wish they also required a bordetella vaccine for this location too but otherwise I have no notes, it's fantastic!

I like the food and drinks and atmosphere. Some of the rangers are fair but a lot of the staff definitely have prejudice toward my dogs breed. They let smaller fluffier dogs hump, bark at, and nip at him, but as soon as he does the same they leash him or ask us to leave. He's not big but he is very strong so I understand to an extent but it's very frustrating to watch them give passes to others and immediate punish my pit.Other than that, it's a nice place to go if you're dog looks less menacing than mine lolI'll probably try another local dog park soon because my dog loves exercising and socializing. It's his favorite place by far.

Bark Social is great. It's a dog park with a bar / restaurant attached. They have a huge selection of beer. Their food is OK at best. Like it's good enough but very mediocre. Would love for a much better option. Their competitor in the area has much better food.But the park itself is much better than the competitors. The field here is enormous and the Bark Rangers are awesome. Legitimately awesome. They know all the dogs by name even if you don't come often. They have a great way with the dogs and can settle things before they get out of hand.They have a ton of parking and my dog always has a blast here. It's my favorite dog park / restaurant in the area.Bring your dog, have fun!

All the staff are extremely kind and friendly! Bark rangers always going above and beyond also, putting themselves at risk to keep dogs and people safe.The atmosphere and space are excellent, very spacious and fun for our dogs. The people (and of course the dogs as well!) and their efforts again is what makes this space so very special!All their events and classes are super fun!Food could use improvement and/or larger portions. I wish it was more like Luckys on main st for example, I’m sure that would be very nice to attract more people outside of the dog circle.

We visited today for the first time (our first visit being free) and we will definitely be back! Check in was very smooth as I’d submitted all forms in advance. The Bark Rangers were so friendly and welcoming. Especially the young woman - wish I’d gotten her name! - but she was so encouraging and loving with my shy small dog. I went inside to get a coffee, and when I came back out the Bark Ranger was holding my dog in her arms and being so loving with her! That really sold me. (Also, the coffee was great!) They do a great job of watching play and making sure everyone is safe. We had a fantastic first experience and couldn’t have asked for more! Can’t wait to come back.

We recently hosted our dog's first birthday party here. It was our first time at Bark Social, so we did not know what to expect. The staff went above and beyond what we ever imagined! We arrived and there was a sign saying happy birthday, a banner, themed table cloth, and other birthday decorations that we did not expect. Everyone we encountered was helpful and went out of their way to assist. Would highly recommend!

Have been here twice with my 7 month old bernedoodle puppy. Wish we lived closer because we’d get a membership and come everyday. Food and drinks are good. Wi-fi is great. Space is super clean.Much like the regular dog park, there are a few owners who pay no attention to their dogs… so the Bark Rangers are reallyyyy nice to help keep an eye!

Bark Social in Manayunk is an awesome hangout for humans and dogs alike! Dogs get to run free and play with supervision and attention from the “bark rangers.” Humans get to relax and order drinks or food at any time of day. There’s even a doggy store and a bath station. Great for a quick trip or a workspace. Staff is wonderful and caring!

The staff is absolutely AMAZING! Our dog Birdie is always treated with extra special care and love. She loves Bark Social but due to her hip dysplasia she has a hard time walking. Today we were met with a wagon and dog bed! We didn't request this. The staff just remembered her and brought her the wagon so she could get around easier. Chris, and the Bark Social staff, thank you all for going above and beyond to make Birdie feel welcome and have fun!!

WE LOVEDD IT HERE! Arlo had soooo much fun! All of the staff was amazing! Everyone was so kind. We were so nervous once we saw how busy it was (it was a Saturday afternoon) but the staff was really amazing at keeping everything so clean and making sure the doggies were all having fun in a safe manner. On top of the dogs having a blast, so did my husband and I! The drinks were amazing, he loved the beer wall & i loved the frozen mango margaritas. We were here for maybe 2 & a half hours, once we came back home our puppy was sound asleep. Can’t wait to go back!

So we were skeptical when we heard about this place initially and now we absolutely LOVE Bark social.Our dog loves it and since there are no toys for dogs to fight over and “bark rangers” that are monitoring while you relax and watch dogs run and play which is a joy in itself. Not to mention the bark rangers love dogs so much!Good beers on tap that change!(Haven’t tried any food but will update when i do)Edit: Food pretty basic chicken strips or pizza not the most incredible but made to order makes it decent to munch on [are you really there for the food or dogs though am I right?]Two things: Since there are a lot of dogs marking their chairs/tables they have to spray a solution that has vinegar in it that permeates throughout the park when its hot.Secondly there isn’t really any cover from the elements (at this time) and they are going to get an awning that should take care of that.Edit: there is a covering now for some of the outdoor seating.

My dog and I enjoy going here on occasion (we are no members) and she has a great time. There's enough room for larger dogs to run around and plenty of seating options for humans (picnic tables, Adirondacks, high tops, plus indoor seating)Coffee is always great 👍 and recently had their breakfast sandwich which was also good. We've had pizza and pretzels on other occasions and the food was good.Clean facilities, they sanitize the ground when dogs go bathroom, and the team outside helps keep dogs calm and entertained.Large parking lot available. You do need to bring proof of vaccines and spay/neuter depending on the age of your dog on your first visit.

I bought a day pass and brought my dog in for the first time. He is a nervous fellow so I was a little worried. The staff was great. They announced his name and that it was his first time. Then the manager Chris came by and really took his time, one on one, to become familiar and to ease my dog's anxiety. It didn't take much time for my guy to open up and start running around playing with all the other dogs. I even felt safe enough to leave him alone in the yard, and to go inside and grab some drinks. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. I grabbed a harvest mule cocktail and headed back to the yard and watched my buddy play until he was all tuckered out. I would and will recommend Bark Social to all of my friends and will be back soon.

this is an amazing and incredible place for dogs and people!!!!!! i have never been so impressed by a situation as i am with bark social!!!!!!!! julie and claire and chris are three of the most relatable individuals who have ever been in the service industry, and you're fortunate to have them!!!!!! they foster a healthy environment for dogs, employees and guests alike!!!!!

Beautiful location and wonderful place for dog lovers! You can bring your dog so they can run and play with others, or if you just want to go in to sit down and pet some pups when they walk up to you you can!I was thrilled to find this place, and I would definitely stop by again when I'm around the area!
