Pirates Cove Pub and Grill serves the visitors and the local community around Prince Gallitzin State Park near Patton, Pennsylvania. I love the cherry vanilla Hershey's hard ice cream (see pic), but they feature soft serve, and other great American food. It's a great place to treat yourself after a hard day of boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, or just plain old relaxing... ;-)

Unique menu. Especially the adult milkshakes. I can't wait to try them all. The food was decently priced and pretty good. Typical bar type food. They do offer entrées as well, which we did not try. We had burgers, salad, and chicken tenders. My son was not a fan of the fries. They are battered. My husband loved them, though. It's just a matter of preference. The Big Mac salad was so good. I was excited to see such an unusual menu item. The ice cream is very good. They have so many yummy sounding sundaes.

I like it! Food is good, pretty much anything on the menu. Atmosphere it’s ok would think more pirate themed. Waitress’ staff Awesome they are friendly and will pretty much put what you want on your sandwich. Nothing seems to be out of bounds. I recommend you check it out! Tell them “The Hood” sent ya!

Our main reason for stopping here was to get ice cream because the other business nearby was way to busy. The Pirates Cove was busy too but were so much more efficient at serving their customers. Also discovered they have normal indoor dining and take out service, along with a small bar area which was a big surprise to me. I'd definitely go back.

We had the Haddock and the chef salad and it was all delicious. We would definitely eat here again if we are ever in Gallitzin PA again. We were given terrific service too. Highly recommend👏🏻👏🏻

I had the Pineapple upside down Sunday. I could have done without the empty cone on top of the Sunday. However it wasn't enough of a detractor to hurt my feelings on this Sunday. I absolutely enjoyed it. I will be back to try another Sunday from them in the future.

It was our first visit. We went a half hour before closing. Ordered ice cream. Nothing fancy cones, a tornado and a shake. Only one other car there. Ordered a mallow cup tornado (because it sounds amazing ). Only to take a bite of ice cream and spoonfuls of shredded coconut and some dark chocolate... so disappointed.

I like this place, but it's starting to get expensive (main food). But ice cream 🍦 is a delicious and reasonable price. Service is good

We went here for ice cream and they have a great selection and variety, they even had Italian Ice for my lactose sensitive child. The ice cream sundaes were huge and the hand dipped filled the cone and still had two big scoops on top. The price was better than most places we have been to as well, normally when the four of us go for ice cream it is upwards of $25 this was less than $15. This will be our new ice place and the drive around Glendale is a plus!

Its a great place to get ice cream in the fall. The area is beautiful. It quality of the ice cream is delicious! They have something there for everyone one. Their mint chocolate chip is the best. I dont even like mint chocolate chip.

This place has the best soft serve yogurt in the county! But, that's not all it has many flavors of ice cream as well as shakes and sundies too. You can order and eat outside or you can come in, sit down and order a delicious meal. From salads to hamburgers, home cut and regular fries. A full menu to satisfy the most whimsical palet. Kids menu too! They can easily accommodate large groups with a private room or patio. Reservations may be required, so call first. A great place to meet and eat. Good food and great service. There's also a small pub if you want a cold beer, glass of wine or mixed drink. You will not be disappointed!

I've never been disappointed...until tonight. The guy in front of me ordered a peanut butter cup tornado, he got Reese's pieces. He said it was OK, but there is a difference. I don't like Reese's pieces. And my tornado hardly had any cookie dough. 😔

Neat place kind of out in the middle of nowhere but we really enjoyed it. Our server was good, the food was great. We even stopped back later that day to get ice cream for dessert. Yum!

Service was excellent. Prompt and polite. Prices are hard to beat. We did not try the food but I gotta say the ice cream lol oh my. I guess we live in a McDonald's world now so quality might not be the forefront of most people's minds. Seriously though if you know what good ice cream is, what the consistently of the cream taste like at the Creamery at Penn State or the quality of Ritchey's taste like, just keep driving. It's probably the worst ice cream product I've ever had. But hey most Americans are probably just looking for their sugar fix in a cone at a good price and if that's all ya want it will do.

I always enjoy going to Pirates Cove in the summer for ice cream. One of the best places around. It has been always the go to place for my family (there is now 8 of us) to go get Ice cream. Plus we always have excellent services from Sidney (Elsa) when we are there. She is super sweet.

Best place in Glendale and surrounding areas to get Ice Cream, cones, tubs, sundaes, shakes and more!! They even have Ice Cream just for DOGS! And their food is Always Good, Fresh and Hot... The Ladies and Gents that serve you are experienced, friendly wait staff. Great Family oriented place to come enjoy🤙

Great food, and great ice cream, typically have dairy free vanilla ice cream as an option, and have weekly flavors of frozen yogurt, and also more than just ice cream such as wings, pizza, fries, etc. They also sell some 6 packs and such and have a nice alcohol bar.
