This is my....excuse me, Milo's favorite place in the world. YES! PETCO! I feel a little scratch on my leg every Saturday morning. Looking down, I always know I'll see my eager little buddy, Milo, my Chihuahua. He knows what day it is and exactly where we should be...Petco. This place is like the dog park for him. He just goes nuts. Once in, he's like a hound dog that has latched onto a sent! They simply provide everything I need. We just browse the online options,click,payand we're on our way!

They are slightly pricier than Petmsart, but the staff is friendlier and more knowledgeable. Shopping here is relaxed and fun, unlike at many Petsmart where they subject you to a full interrogation, Spanish Inquisition style. They have slightly cleaner tanks than their competitors and more aquatic plants. They deserve to be in a bigger store.

Went into the store for some advise on aquriums and parakeets and all I got was a rude experience. It was 4/11/24 at 920 AM and the person I tried to speak to was completly rude and no help. I am never shopping Petco again.

Clean store and friendly knowledgeable staff. Stopped in for supplies and to look for another bearded dragon for my son. Let with a healthy pet. I took away one star for the lack of bearded dragon knowledge. The staff recommended meal worms and calcium sand for it, which is what they were using in their setup. Meal worms can stunt juveniles growth and calcium sand can cause digestive impactions as well. Despite that, it was a good store. Just do your research before you purchase an exotic pet.

Kati was my groomer and she was fantastic! Made both mine and my puppy’s experience so great. Super friendly and seemed to really care about providing the best care for my puppy. Would 10/10 recommend booking with her!

Expensive, extremely hard to find things in the store nothing together had to walk up and down every isle to find everything i needed. Youd think all dog stuff would be together not here. Then checking out and they tried charging me for bags for over 300$ worth of items.

I order my dog’s Hiro food from Petco and it is delivered online. They have the special brand and type of dog food that I need, so it all works out. Delivery is reliable and I have multiple physical stores to visit if that becomes necessary and the people there are obvious pet lovers so they are very friendly and generally well informed.

I love Petco in Paoli for grooming and training! Patrice has taken care of all of our dogs so well while grooming them and Mary is a fantastic trainer! Mary is always positive and really wants your dog to succeed at training, I would definitely recommend her!

My dog is a gorgeous miniature golden doodle named Maxwell. Our groomer was on vacation, so we decided to try someone else at this location being that we had a family photo shoot set up for my son’s birthday which was quickly approaching. Maxwell being an Instagram star also had a personal photography session planned along with our family session. When my husband arrived, he informed the groomer of exactly how we wanted the cut and specifically stated to her, “Please do not cut the hair on his face as we like a shaggy look for our puppy.” The groomer responded, “Sure, no problem. He will be done in about an hour.” My husband asked her if she was sure being that Maxwell’s typical grooming appointments last about 2-3 hours. She said yes. She will be done in an hour and will call… red flag number 1! She calls shortly under an hour and when my husband arrived to pick up Maxwell, he was absolutely devastated! She trimmed off all of our puppy’s hair and completely clipped of his beard and shortened his face hair unevenly. My husband takes such pride in having a matching beard with our puppy and was speechless! When he sent me a photo of the dog, I was baffled. Our Maxwell looked like a completely different dog! He was barely recognizable. We were so upset that our family portrait was not going to be how we envisioned. Needless to say we canceled Maxwell’s photo session until his hair could grow back. I know it may seem like I’m exaggerating, but it’s our dog and we requested a particular style for him… it’s disappointing when our request is 100% undermined, especially for a service we are paying for. We spent $130 to have something done that was not what we requested. I would have given this place 1 star, but I chose to give it 4 stars because the general manager there Annie T. really did a phenomenal job in working with us to try to make the situation better and even though there wasn’t too much she could do to fix the grooming experience, she refunded me and even gave us a little gift bag, which we deeply appreciate! Most importantly what Annie did was respond in such a genuine and caring manner that I felt so much better. She is an amazing manager and certainly deserves a raise. Her customer service skill set is impeccable and I can say that I’m satisfied. I mean any one can give you a refund and a little treat, but not everyone has the demeanor and professional tact to make the situation feel better! Annie is the reason my rating for this store is higher and I just want to thank Annie for being amazing! I even called corporate to notify them of how Annie saved the day! If only all places could have an Annie… the customer satisfaction would sky rocket! Thanks again Annie T. We appreciate you!

I took my golden doodle puppy to Petco for a haircut. I was apprehensive because his appointment wasn’t with his normal groomer. I gave the new groomer specific instructions on cutting my dogs head and face as we like it longer. This girl scalped my dog and completely cut his beard off. I’m very disappointed. This is Maxwell’s worst haircut to date. Can’t wait until it grows out. Should have saved my $100 or just waited for Patrice.*Update* Petco was very understanding and credited us with a free grooming with Patrice and a gift basket filled with toys and treats for Maxwell . They were very professional and accommodating. Thank you for trying your best to fix the situation Petco. Much appreciated!

Place is great. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. That have just about anything you would need for your pet, from a dog to a cat to a fish or whatever is in between. This is my go to place for my pet supplies. I highly recommend them.

Best grooming experience ever. We brought our big girl Layla in for a much needed grooming yesterday. She has VERY dry and flaky skin and she sheds a lot. We’ve taken her other places before for grooming but never with such incredible results as we received yesterday from Lauren at the Paoli Petco. Layla’s fur felt like silk after her appointment and even my family said so when we brought her home! They were amazed! She looked beautiful! And most of all I could tell her dry skin wasn’t bothering her any more and she finally felt comfortable. Most importantly we felt taken care of from the moment we walked in, we had a friendly greeting right at the door from Jess, who I believe is a manager of the location- she answered all of our questions and took her time with us and Lauren to make sure that Layla’s needs were taken care of and that we felt comfortable leaving her there. Everyone was so friendly and treated Layla so well. We even got a holiday photo of Layla after her grooming which was a great touch! Layla was so happy after her appointment and I could tell she had a good experience with Lauren and the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a grooming or anything else!

Never bring your dogs here for grooming. My dogs had an appointment at 1. They claim the groomer had to leave and they called me at 1:45 - I had no missed call or voicemail. By 4 I went back around to check if they were done b/c they don’t answer the phone. Turns out my dogs were never groomed and got to sit in cages for 3 hours because of these incompetent people who couldn’t manage a phone call or two. Never coming back

In my opinion, this store should be avoided at all cost! Absolute worst grooming experience ever!! The grooming fees have gone up without notice. They also have added a "materials fee" which includes sharpening of their tools and the shampoo they use. They also categorized my 8 lb dog with 1 inch hair as a long hair breed resulting in higher fees.There was no grooming manager available for me to speak with regarding the increase in fees or additional charges that were never disclosed.. I spoke with the store manager, Courtney, who had not been trained well (according to the corporate customer service representative they gave me the number for.). Corporate stated they did not have authority to do anything. If this is how they treat paying customers, I hate to imagine how they treat my dog when I am not there.

General staff was very attentive & friendly. The reason I'm giving only 2 stars is because this Petco was very hard to find (not that serious)... my greatest concern is this ---> I arrived during a dog "training session" which upon hearing & seeing this "trainer" I truly wanted to step in as a professional & educate the "trainer" that was on shift - but that would have been overstepping my boundaries as a customer... I was concerned at her lack of knowledge & training experience. What I witnessed made me cringe. I've been professionally working with dogs for 29 years & honestly I don't know if it's a lack of training the trainer on the corporate side or just her own methods.... but almost everything I saw/heard was absolutely wrong. I could go into at least a dozen different details, but I won't because there's just too much to type. I'm holding both corporate & the trainer responsible. People pay a lot of money to learn proper training for their dogs & they do so because they want to be responsible dog owners... yet what they're being "taught" is a joke. Petco needs to step up in this department. Dissapointed doesn't begin to describe what I felt... I am beyond sad at what I witnessed as the only victims in this will be the dogs. I never give negative reviews unless they are absolutely warranted & in this particular case - yes my brutal honesty is warranted.

We had THE MOST UNDERWHELMING EXPERIENCE at the Paoli Petco center the very first time we were wanting to take our 5year old St. Bernard there for grooming. Since this was the first time she was to be groomed here, as per the regular norms we were asked to show her rabies vaccination details and we did share the same!However, we have recently moved to the US and all the vaccinations were done in India as per the US CDC requirements.The lady at the Paoli Petco firstly read the expiration date for her vaccine wrong, and when we pointed that out, she said they only accept American vaccinations - this is something we weren't informed off before. When I explained that these vaccinations have been accepted by CDC, her local vet here in the US and the other Petco division and that none of them have had any issues with the records, she tells me it's a Petco policy to accept only American rabies shots.When asked where can we check the policy she had no clue and said she doesn't have it, we need to connect with customer care.So of course we called the Petco customer care right away and were informed that the policy to have American rabies vaccinations are specified for their pharmacy/ prescribed medications. The policy doesn't specify any such requirement for grooming.It is so disappointing so see how employees of big names like Petco are not just ignorant of the overall policies, but also misuse it to snub away clients if they are unable to understand what client is trying to explain. Not to mention the time we wasted here as well as the money wasted on the pet cab.I can't even comment on the groomers at Paoli because we never managed to reach that step. If you are a first time customer I wouldn't recommend Petco Paoli. We have had a much more pleasant and positive experience at the Exton Petco center.

I received excellent customer service from Petco employee, Andrew. Before going to the store, I called to make sure that a member of the staff was knowledgeable about goldfish and could help me give the best care possible to the 2 goldfish my 7 year old had won at a local carnival. It's amazing distress we feel as parents over something as minor as goldfish care - but goldfish, I learned from the many YouTube videos I watched - are not as easy to keep alive as they are to win. It would crush me if I bought the wrong bowl, food etc and my daughter's 1st pets did not survive consequently. Andrew was empathetic to my to anxiety, and also respectful of my budget. (Other pet stores I had called were pushing me to drop $200 on an aquarium when it is an absolute unknown how long a carnival goldfish will live, regardless of the size of its environment). Andreq sold me exactly what I needed to give my daughter the best chance of caring for her new pets. And, both fish are thriving! Thank you, Andrew and Petco.

I love this store. Everyone is friendly and helpful. It's got a mellow homey vibe. My dog doesn't even screech when he gets his nails done. With the virus going on the store is doing a great job of social distancing and cleaning. The girl who was working was great!

Just be careful who your groomer is if you want to take your pet here. Not all groomers at this location are professionals and will do a shoddy job. They ended up bruising my dog on his head. This was my second grooming session with them. The first one with Kayla was great and she did awesome job.While Jessica was nice to follow up and check on my pet health, I was very disappointed with how they managed the whole thing.

Another Petco grooming fail.Showed up to my appointment 10 mins late only to hear “sorry we can’t fit you in today cos your late”“Oh but we have availability tomorrow.”Absolute rubbish.Never mind I called 3x on the way and no one picked up. Would have saved the 20 min drive.So if you’re 10 mins late you can’t get groomed? Wow.

Absolutely love their dog grooming services! Easy, quick scheduling, even during COVID. Better yet, my dog, a friendly Bichon, loves it! With former groomer closed, Petco has been a blessing. Great prices and friendly, expert staff. 🐕
