I visit this acme during my visits to YMCA in Upper main line. There's plenty of parking and shared with other shops the shop is well lit even in night times and decently crowded. They do have a nice selection of vegetables come out fruits for which I shop in this location. They do have quick grab hot food available for takeout. The store is maintained well, and the restrooms are clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. The checkout counters are always easy to navigate. Overall, this is a nice place to shop if you are in the area.

1. Poor coordination of item pricing from shelf pricing labels to the checkout computer. The shelf prices are frequently not in synch with the checkout computer.2. Poor Customer Service: They act like they can't bothered to help resolve the pricing errors in the Acme system. Their initial reaction to any request is to try to make the customer feel stupid as if the customer is the problem.How Rude!!!The latest for example; the weekly ad of 11/24 lists Russel Stover chocolates with an original cost of $11.99 on sale at 50% off. The shelf price is correctly marked at $5.99, yet my mother in law was charged the original $11.99 price for the 7 holiday boxes she bought thinking she was getting the holiday bargain as advertised.It's bad enough that we got overcharged, but to have an employee treat us poorly when we ask for help is unacceptable.

My husband order a lemon cake with BUTTER CREAM ICNING for my birthday. Long story short the cake was extremely dry pound cake with lemon WHIP CREAM ICING. He was also told they are made fresh daily. There is NO way these cakes are made fresh daily. Thanks for awful birthday cake Acme bakery. I wish I would’ve known he was going to acme for my cake. I would have stopped him. On the other hand I appreciated him for the gesture. Just a shame he was guided by not real bakers.

I tried the Acme again, but was surprised to find no small carts and no baskets. Wegmans has both. Problem solved...ACME >>>> Please let us know when you replaced the small baskets and picked up the small shopping carts from the train station.<<No response from Acme >>2 things the Paoli Acme did has caused me to go elsewhere: 1. Move everything to new locations (to make room for 48 more sku's of ketchup) 2. Removal of the small shopping carts. I'm sure they paid a consultant a ton of money to convince them people would buy more stuff if they are forced to use a large cart and have to wander around the store looking for ketchup. Whats up with that bar in the back ?UPDATE - According to the Acme - all the small shopping carts are at the train station. NO LIE - that is what I was told by an Acme employee.UPDATE 2 - Went to the Albertsons website and the contact form does not work....<<No response from Acme >>

Beautiful store, but prices avg $1 more per item than some other local stores. Definitely showing support for EAGLES in the big game! Supply chain affecting Dairy products, no Half & Half (except for Organic) available Mid-afternoon on Friday b4 Super Bowl. Had to go to that other local store in Frazer for the H&H!

This store is beautiful! Every shelf full of necessities and deliciousness! Walking in the entrance to a beautiful display of freshly baked goods, an amazing staff of happy and helpful associates and ease of checkout is why this store rates 5 stars! ( I'd give them 10 if I could!) They've also stepped up everywhere in the store to make sure people feel safe shopping during the pandemic. I've included a photo of the restroom to show how much they care about their customers and their associates.

Clean store, great bakery and nice personnel. PLUS I spent $30 on lottery scratchers from their machine and won $150. It was a Good day! I only gave them 4 stars because like all grocery stores these days, prices seemed high.

Woman at self checkout was extremely rude to my mother and I. She corrected us, saying that we were in the wrong. Her approach to the issue was hostile, extremely rude and completely obnoxious.FACTS:Acme sells 2 types of oranges that look almost identical without tags. At self checkout when you look up the item, the price of the item is not available until you select it (becoming automatically added to your cart). When the item is added to the cart, there is no way to edit/modify or delete the item without the self checkout employee's authorization.What happened:My mother and I tried to pay for an orange under the impression that the orange was $1.25 as we saw in the extra savings sign over the item. The other orange was $1.50 not on sale so we did not choose that one. When we got to self checkout we found out that the orange we chose didn't have an item number on it so we guessed on which one we thought it was. We accidentally added the $1.50 one. (an honest mistake by us) We tried to delete the item ourselves but the light started flashing at our checkout and an acme employee (in charge of monitoring self checkout) walked over. She canceled my request to delete the item and instead put it in as $1.50 AGAIN and walked away. My mom called over to her and asked her if she could delete one of the oranges as we were only buying one. Before we could tell her about the price difference we got a what I think was very sassy reply. She told us "You ladies need to pay more attention to what you're doing". I was completely shocked and couldn't believe how we were just treated. We didn't end up buying the orange not just because it wasn't keyed in correct at the price we thought we were getting it at but because of how horribly we were treated by an acme employee.

When I am checking out for myself. The kiosk alerts me that I am stealing. Then the staff comes. Unlike the staff from another supermarket, that realize this is a mistake by the video. She checked what I scanned one by one. "4 cucumbers..." "1 mushroom..." ... Then she peeked at a salad from the final bag. "I think you didn't scan this salad. " She said with confidence, without the checking. Then I realize her behavior comes from a huge prior that I am a theft. So I just leave that supermarket. It is time-wasting.I strongly suggest ACME connect the theft alert function of kiosk with a call to 911 automatically. So they needn't pay the salary to their staff for insulting their customers and putting the abandoned items from angry customers back on the shelf.

Had a terrible incident here with a very rude worker. I needed a basket and there was a stack near the checkout, so I went to grab one. A female worker with glasses was about to pick up the stack so I asked nicely if I could take one before she lifts them. She looks at me and proceeds to ignore me and picks it up and walks all the way to the outside on the other end of the store. I had to follow behind her and she drops it near the door and goes "there you can have one now" in a snarkly manner. The audacity to make a comment like that when she could have allowed me to take one minutes earlier without me having to cross the entire front of the store. Customer service is really non existent these days.

I used to like ACME until the other day I bought a ketchup for $7.50 from this store later that day I was in Wegmans and accidentally saw the same ketchup same size and brand for $2.99! I checked online and price everywhere price was around $2-$3 !! Later I noticed more overpriced items like kid's Tylenol, dill etc. I'm trying to not go there unless we need something urgently! So be careful for overpriced items in ACME.

Worst Customer service. I was in store at 8 PM and want a cake available on display. The folks at the backery are gone so went to the Customer service and the store manager said we cant take it and out and put it in a box. It was a simple 5 inch cake and they are not taking a extrqstep just to take it out of display and give it to me. And they said no once her knows how to take it and put in on a box for Me when there are more than 4 employees looking around.

The two stares are for the fantastic selection the store carries, how well organized they are, and all the amenities inside. The three missing stars are for how disgusting some of the food at the deli is, specifically the fried and grilled chicken, along with the sides next to them. Tastes funky smells funky even after heating it in the oven. I do not recommend buying any food from there.

The pastries and cakes are delicious. I purchase my desserts from Acme or Wegmans.The problem with this store ( on a regular basis) is at checkout. They only had two checkers. The orders in these lines were a good size.I could go to self checkout, which I did. Anytime I have a large grocery listI ONLY go to Giant. Better prices as well.Employed by Acme in my twenties. I feel terrible reporting this.

Nice store and great selection of everything! The bakery section looked amazing! Shelves were stocked well.Only thing missing were gallon jugs of whole milk. We bought two halves so at least we had some. The organic milk was just too pricy. Overall a great visit! Thank you!

Got in a line which the light was on when I entered, cashier started my order, her boss I am assuming told her not to do it and sign off, she then told me to go to another line which had 3 people with large orders in it, she should have finished my order, but really it is the managers fault for telling her to sign off mid order when her light was on when I went in the line.

Thank you to the wonderful staff that assisted me yesterday and today! Mary, Colette, and Denise helped with my difficult Western Union pick up. These ladies made it possible for me to be able to secure an apt in PA. I also was able to check out the store while there. Picked up two beautiful steaks and saw a great assortment of healthy foods to try. The pricing here is amazing and worth every penny. The service puts a cherry on top! Thank you so much. You made a first time visitor into a return customer for sure!!

Clean and well organized. Often unable to find the products I'm looking to purchase. Perhaps if there was less space allotted for alcoholic beverages there would be a larger food selection in the GROCERY store. Just a thought :)

The parking can be troublesome at times, I can't blame that on acme markets, as they're other stores in this shopping center that compete for the same spots as them. The store is always well stocked and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I live in the city so comparing this store to any store where I live isn't fair, but there is a difference between this store and ones near me. Although this store isn't large like the ones near me, it isn't small itself, they seem to have everything I want or need.

I was here for business. The store is clean to covid standards. I did see a spill on the floor and had to find an associate. I also had to explain slip trip and fall hazards to him so that he would find a wet floor sign. The shelves were a little overstocked in some areas and understocked in others. This causes shrink due to lost items and theft. Some of the items I was looking for were jammed and stuffed behind other items. The atmosphere was great. There were many locals shopping who must have known each other.

Everything is good at this location..perfect selection of goods, clean store, and welcome cashiers. The worst is the one particular employee at the deli department. She refuses to serve me because of my English. And such situation happens all the time. She not only directly refuses to serve me but makes not very nice notices about me to another employees in my presence. After 30 years living in Europe, 6 years in Canada and 2 years in the USA, I haven't seen such terrible service as she does.

Not my primary grocery store but I stop here on the way home sometimes to pick up last minute items. Their produce is nice and the meat department is good as well. The store is relatively newly renovated and you can buy beer and wine here too. Staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a good selection of pre-prepared food if you need a last minute meal quickly.

I really like this store, the customer service has always been very helpful. Today at the self checkout one of my sale items didn't scan properly. Turns out I picked the non-sale version. The clerk went and got the sale item for me. I thanked her for her help. It's things like that which make me appreciate the service I get from my Acme.

Always good, Phyllis is a great check out staff member. I do wish you still had the computer deli ordering so you can do other shopping while they do your deli order for pick up. Most staff very helpful when trying to find things since the store has been rearranged

Year after year - this store is clean, the employees are extremely helpful and the shelves are stocked with what I need. The carts are even nice.So grateful to have this wonderful store in my Paoli neighborhood.Kudos to the management and staff!!
