I was having difficulty purchasing my EGO mower & string trimmer online using the Ace app so I just headed down to the nearest one that had the one I wanted in stock. The fellas tending the store were quick to ask if I needed any assistance upon walking in. I purchased an aluminum deck EGO mower & Line IQ string trimmer. The gentlemen were quick to gather products & help me load them up in my Crosstrek after paying. Bell Ace is closer but didnt have the aluminum deck mower in stock. Paul's Hardware/Garden Center was pretty straightforward considering I came knowing exactly what I wanted but I would not hesitate to return here if needed.

Went to look at Weber Grills.Ending up buying a Genesis 2 to Royal Blue.Store is WELL stocked with products.Very helpful Staff. Answered all my questions on the grills.Also got a $100 gift card.I did buy a New Riding Mower Battery while I was there.In Stock.Fair Prices.Clean and well maintained property.Free off street parking.Located on rt 309 in Orfield Pa.Easy to find. Great Location.

I felt obligated due to a recent experience as this was my first time at this hardware store on writing this review, but it all comes down to me being an honest businessman and out of the kindness of my heart solely for other builders, painters and handymen to help save them some money for the hard work they do.Every item is way over priced where you can find a dollar or two cheaper at most other hardware stores. Not really sure why this is the way it is other than it being a growing small town with one hardware store within miles of another one. Also, The amount of staff inside this small hardware store was astounding. I walk into this Ace hardware store and no welcome or warm hellos from staff, just all behind a cash register staring at their phones. Very odd I thought, and let alone unprofessional at its finest. So I decided to make my trip inside a short one because I did not feel very welcomed at all. A smile or hello can go a long way for a customer.The isles are really also very small as I felt like I was getting squeezed to the sides while looking for some tools and some paint for my new deck and I felt like I could hardly breath, it was so cluttered. The good 10-20 minutes I was in the store, not a single 8 employees had even came and asked if I needed help with anything. Literally packed full of staff and maybe 3 customers in the store on a busy Saturday.I am dissatisfied with this Ace hardware and will not go back to this one just because of the lack of attention and hospitality from the staff, prices being way too high, the outside looks like a jail and like the owner is a paranoid meat head which is quite amusing, that does not ring welcoming to me and I am sure many others. I dont mind driving 10 minutes down a road to go to the Home Depot, as I did not feel welcomed at all at Ace hardware in Orefield and it doesn’t seem like the staff care at all either.Just a friendly reminder for people who are looking to save their hard earned money and whom work hard and don't stare at their phones like zombies. Most of everything a handyman would need could be purchased at a considerably lower price online or at a Home Depot than what is priced at this store, they also clearly do not care to help you find what you are looking for because what is on their phone is more important than you paying for their paycheck. What a shame.

The best hardware store they go above and beyond all the time ! Ordered a wheelbarrow online for delivery expected to find a box at the door and it was delivered by Mike who put it together !! Service above and beyond much appreciated customer forever !!! They are knowledgeable service oriented and ace pricing and rewards are very good. Avoid the box stores

Just a fantastic store, they seem to have everything and anything you’d be looking for. Best part is, the staff is so friendly and always asking if you need help finding anything. I never get that kind of service at a big box store.

I love Paul's hardware. Have been going there for years. It may appear to be a small store on the outside but once you go in they have everything that you could possibly imagine. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. And it's nice to be able to get in and out of a store with the things that you need without having to search on your own like some of the big box stores. Paul's is a great hardware store

An employee named Aleta was very rude to me because my brother started to load mulch while I paid for it. This was my first time at this location as I usually use Plaza Hardware, but I was closer to this business today. I will stick to Plaza for the future.

This is a nice local hardware store that I always like to support when they have items I am shopping for. It is convenient place to refill propane tanks, get water softener pellets and pick up most other household items. The staff is always helpful and friendly and much better experience than the BIG stores.

This is a fantastic hardware store, it’s a local store that employees a bunch of great people. They are all helpful with any questions. I recently was in there and Bob went above and beyond to help me out. I was looking for a specific tubing and he took the time to look online and see if it could be special ordered. We did not find it but the effort was awesome. I for sure did not get that kind of help when I went to the big guys Lowe’s and Home Depot. I love this great hometown hardware store

Paul's Ace is my go to spot. I don't like going to Lowes or Home Depot and they are local. The staff there are awesome and helpful. I asked for a particular type of screw one time and the guy rattled off 5 possible options without even looking. They know their stuff. Recently i needed 2 50 pound bags of rock salt. They even brought it out to my car for me. Great place, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I love this store! It has a nice hometown feeling. All the employees are eager to help you find what you need or make suggestions that might work better for the project you're working on. If you get a club card, you will receive monthly coupons in the mail.

Paul's Hardware is the best! Every employee is incredibly friendly, they greet you, will show you where the item you're looking for is, and happily answered questions about what I needed. Online ordering is excellent as well, a staff member called me to let me know an item was out of stock and offered an alternative.

I purchase items from this store multiple times a year. The service is friendly and knowledgeable just like a ma-n-pa store. They have anything from air filters, buckets, bolts, tools or bird feed. They have a huge variety of items and always seem to have something that helps me get the job done.

Convenient to our home for quick purchases if you are in a time crunch. Costs a bit more than big box stores but you save by not driving to the big box stores. Helpful people to load heavy items

I was in the market for a gas grill so I called Paul’s hardware to see what they had in stock. The manager Chris said they had a floor model that was just assembled yesterday and that I could buy it if I want it. I told him I would be there shortly to look at it. When I arrived they immediately asked if other could help. The manager came out in less than a minute, showed the the grill. After a short discussion I decided to but it. He asked if I needed a cover and knew exactly which cover would fit. I said I need a tank and he said they could even fill it for me. While I checked out the got the grill ready for pick up, and filled my tank. From the time I arrived to leaving the parking lot, it took less than 15 min. This is customer service. You don’t get this service from the box stores.

My first time at this location was the Saturday before Father's Day Sunday in 2021. I purchased a grill and the man at the counter personally delivered the grill that evening at 6 p.m. in the rain in order to make sure we had it for the following day.Just went back yesterday and purchased a Toro lawn mower. I was a tad concerned that the mower only had a collection bag and that none of the mowers seemed to feature a side discharge. The wonderful gentleman who helped us said that they no longer include a side discharge due to environmental concerns but that Toro would send me one (an adapter for the rear) free of charge when I registered the product online. I came home and registered the mower online and sure enough... Toro is sending a side discharge to me at no cost.Hat's off to this place!

Love the personalized attention. I have been shopping here for years. Today my first not so happy cashier, Jen, needed a break, or they need a backup cashier with a better attitude and more sleep night prior. I will still come back, just wait for the other cashier
