Been going to Richard for 4 years now. He’s the only one I let touch my saws. There’s an honesty within his work and word that you don’t find anymore. A dealer will tell you it’s a “$300 fix” and Richard will laugh and have it fixed for $20 in 20 minutes. Thanks Richard!

Like previous reviews have mentioned, good honest guy that services everything 2 stroke and a licensed stihl dealer. If you think back to the 1960s and all the small service businesses that were sole proprietors or family owed that actually cared, knew who you were when you walked in and just spoke with you as a normal conversation, this is that place.Hope he stays around forever.

My chain saw that has cut over 10 years worth of firewood was not doing well. I took it to the Bortz shop to check it out, and got a call to pick it up a couple days later. What a difference. It is running like a new saw. I just turned a downed tree into firewood in less than half the time it would have taken me before they worked on it. Great service and much appreciated.

Awesome place, awesome people. Even having my 4 year old daughter tagging along they were extremely accommodating. Left with 2 stihl professional grade saws that nobody else had in stock anywhere.
