I called the Nottingham, PA store at 8:00am this morning asking about balloons. Jen was so sweet and kind with answering my questions! This afternoon we stopped to pick up the balloons and Tasha waited on us! She went above and beyond to help.me with the red, white and blue table runner! A HUGE SHOUT OUT to both ladies and their AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! My Favorite DG store!!

This store has a lot of everyday needs -- convenience foods, bottled waters, sodas, candy, housewares, cleaning supplies, kids toys, party needs, greeting cards, health & beauty items, some electronic items and even some clothing! Its an older store, but has reasonable prices, so you can save money! I always find things I need easily, because its a smaller store, so different types of items aren't far from each other. Its compact, so you can get a wide variety of items quickly and check out!

It's a great store when you need to get something very quickly. I am updating my review and removing one star because it seems this store is very understaffed, and most of the items on the shelves are either empty, or there's barely any items in stock. Also, there are boxes everywhere, and no one working to unbox and refill up the shelves. On a positive note, the few staff who work at this location seem to be ok, but nobody ever seems to be very happy, which is obviously because they are overworked, understaffed, and I'm sure underpaid too. This is my review. Have a great day....

I love going to the Dollar General in Nottingham Pa. Because the manager is so friendly and helpful, the rest of the staff are awesome as well, they really go out of their way to help you or answer questions... and they keep the store nice and clean... they are always busy stocking shelves.. they make going to the the pleasant...

Staff is very helpful, no wait lines if there is more customers than staff they'd open another line directly them to ring you up and stop what there doing and would come up and open all drawers to get the whole line done, friendly and the store is always stocked to the max and if it's not on the shelf you ask and they will for go to the back even to make sure they dont have what tour looking for then they will get the manager on duty to place a order for it and let you know a round about of when it's coming in

My wife and I really like this Dollar General. The staff is courteous, and you can easily get in and out in no time. We're glad they opened up a store just minutes from our house.

The two stars are for the unorganized mess within the store. There is too much inventory for the space available. Clutter and chaos is all around and you cannot get a cart through many of the isles because of it. Customers have a hard time passing by one another as well. Also because of the mess within, it's difficult to find what you need unless you really hunt for it.

After start-up problems with minimal staffing & boxes of merchandise in numerous isles,, im glad to say I do see an improvement of late. But, i give the Rising Sun Md. store a 4 ☆☆☆☆! Happy and pleasant employees go along way when you only receive minimum wage...& it may be your 2nd job.

Not very clean or orderly. But is cleaner than most I have been in. However my reason for 2 stars is the cashier gentleman that works in the evening the only one that I have dealt with anyway is very hateful. Shouldn't work register if you dislike people so much

It's a Dollar General store. It is newer, has a nice parking lot, and the staff is usually friendly, but other wise it's about the same as other Dollar General stores; good values on some things but some items are more expensive than at Giant or Martin's

I can always get bread on the fly. Decent selection of groceries. Lots of every day products. Friendly and attentive staff.

I'm looking at raisin bran crunch, the sale stickers are a little confusing so I see a woman that works there, she says I'll send the guy over that knows all the sales, ( I don't want to get to the counter to pay and have a problem) he says I'm reading it right, when I get to the counter, it will be $6 for 4 boxes, it comes up at $9, my wife always gets imbaresed when there is a dispute at the register, so I ask for him to come up, he know changes his story, and says the 4 for $10, cannot be used with the $4 if you buy 4 boxes, so I have to pay full price to get the $4 for buying 4, and the savings is really only $1. That is not what he said before i got to the register. He said the price is 4 for $10, and if you buy 4 it will take off $4 at the end. His excuse was he miss read it, he was sent to read it because he was the guy who knew.

Store was very clean I was looking for Christmas crafts for the school I was working for. I asked for a receipt when I left and she gave me my change but didn't give me a receipt so I had to go back for it. That was the only inconvenience.
