I was at the store to pick up a few items and stopped at the deli. The two women that were working there were so nice. It's nice to see people doing their job and who are friendly at the same time. I will definitely shop there again because of them.

Can't get my store in Northern Cambria to show up online for flyers and sales items. they build beautiful stores in Pittsburgh and leave the stores in the suburbs to fall apart. Yet they charge us the same insane prices that the nice stores charge. Refurbishment replace 40 year old stores, provide handicap bathroom, totally clean and renovation of any store with shelves 20 years old.

I was there in the evening. Some of the isles were blocked with displays from the front of the store. Checking out chatting with cashier. I asked if they were remodeling. She said no they were cleaning the floors. It's sad that they have to do that. I'm sure they have a time to be done and a gigantic challenge. They are so friendly and I felt bad for them. I will still shop there. Just wanted to make it clear why I gave a 3.

Love Giant Eagle and especially the fuel perks. Love getting free gas. Great prices, deals and sales. Awesome customer service. Just amazing gift card section. The store does have a pharmacy. Great deli and take out food. Definitely stop in.

What ever happened to the days when you went grocery shopping and you were greeted by the cashier, they bagged your groceries and they put them in the cart for you...I guess those days are gone.. Now you go the store and your cashier makes you feel like a bother.. I think these grocery stores really need to think about who they hire for the summer months...

6 months passed, big changes aren't good. I was s disappointed when I walked through the produce section. Lettuce, berries were all filled of mold. They used to keep a good selection of mushrooms. Obvious the same man is no longer a manager. They didn't have any green peppers. Higher prices and very poor quality of products. Same with the fruit. I'm going to make Walmart my new grocery store. Its a shame that grocery stores can do this to the public. They think they can do what they want because they are the only stores in town.

It is decent. Like most stores the shelves seem bare. However they are making customers wear masks. So I'll shop elsewhere. Martin's is by far the best supermarket around.

It's clean.. has a pharmacy but alot of times there's a huge waiting line and the privacy isn't really good. People behind you can still hear you and the person you are talking to. The whole setup at that pharmacy sucks big time. No privacy and how they have the line set up. You're in line and blocking alot of times people trying to check out there groceries. If you have problems standing length of period of times there's no place to sit while you're waiting in line. They should get a setup for people like taking numbers and have benches put through out the store and or have a setup they wait in there car some way of hearing the numbers being called so you're privacy stays private. I know there's a way of doing that so no lingering around the desk and blocking people checking out or blocking of isles.

I don't know what employees other reviewers have met at this store, but I have yet to meet one that seems to like their job. They are not professional, do not even pretend to be nice to the customers, and just look bored most of the time. The prices here (and every Giant Eagle I have ever been to) are ridiculous compared to most grocery stores, but I guess they have that right being that Northern Cambria has only 2 small grocery stores and they are both high priced. I cannot find everything I need here (it's a small store so there is a lot they don't carry). Also, if you have a large family (like I do), this store is even more expensive because they do not sell bulk items. Most stores will sell huge packs of meat at a lower price because you are buying a larger amount of it, but this store has small packs of everything, so you just have to buy several packs and it gets pricey. It works when I need something quickly (provided it's basic enough that they have it), but I prefer to shop at stores out of town just for the customer service, prices, and availability of the food that I need.

This store is bitter sweet for me my Aunt Doris worked her forever until she took her own life in the parking lot . The store really stepped up and helped my Uncle as I remember. I think of her every time I go there sad I lost contact with her husband and my cousins 💞🙏😭

Quality is there, but prices extremely high. I only go there for certain things like meat or back goods, sometimes produce. Everyday items are cheaper everywhere else though, and not impressed by tellers, kind of snooty

Have always gone to this giant eagle and of course since it's out here in FBE prices are gonna be just a tad higher but it's completely manageable. It's easy to find stuff in the store but as of this review of a certain thing going around a certain product or so is out of stock almost completely but they have been getting it in as I've heard from a friend who works there.

I recently ordered a birthday cake for my mother in law. When ordering, I asked for buttercream icing and asked if they could put whole strawberries on the corners. When I picked up the cake, it was in a box with a lid, ( not a clear lid where I could see it) I assumed it was the cake I ordered. Once I got home, I opened the box and gasped!!! The lettering was smeared, and instead of WHOLE STRAWBERRIES as requested, it was strawberry glaze and the sides were collapsed I immediately called the bakery. They asked me if I could bring it back to get "fixed". I had people arriving any minute so that was not an option. When I addressed the strawberry issue, I was told that they do not use fresh fruit, only glaze. That was NOT told to me at the time of ordering. I was told to come back in at a later time so they could somehow credit me. I will NEVER order another cake from Giant Eagle.

Giant eagle is likea mini walmart although some things are a lil pricier, there meat is normally fresh n you can always get a nice cut. I use there pharmacy to and they are just a wonderful staff.

Rediculously over doing the COVID 19 restrictions. Telling people they need to leave store immediately and take their shopping elsewhere. It is like a prison on the store. I will have to make np other choice but to do my shopping at Kens Bilo the only thing i will even enter the store for is to go to pharmacy.

The customer service at the bakery on 9-10-19 (3:30pm) was shameful! If the employee doesn't want to take someone's order, then she shouldn't be working there. Find a new job that doesn't require interacting with other humans or customer service skills.

This store is great for the locals in that town, it has limited variety and reminds me of an old mom and pop store..which can be nice...Parking lot is a little odd but is ok..

Prices don't seem cheap but the staff have always been helpful. If you're from Canada, their credit card machines validate on zip code on purchases over $50.
