My family just got back from the worst experience we've ever had at this Family Dollar. The older woman working the register was all smiles with the customer ahead of us, then as soon as we put down handfuls of candy at the register she was very disrespectful. She said something along the lines of " I'd slap you if you give that candy to your kid. or worse."Our child is less than a year old, in a stroller, and we were buying candy for a little party we were throwing, not for our child. To make so many assumptions and threaten us in the same instant really puts into perspective where we should spend our money.As someone who works with customers regularly, you need someone who is good with customers at the register. Not coming back.

While the service was friendly. The employees name tag said NUNYA, which was off-putting. Why wear a name tag if it is just to tell the customer it's Nunya business to know my name? Really doesn't leave a positive feeling.I get that it's probably a joke or just clever wordplay, but in a customer service retail roll, it is not the appropriate venue. 🙄

I left a negative review last year and avoided this store until today.I am so glad I gave it another chance! The staff is different and so helpful and friendly! I was actually walked to the isle and product I needed! The woman at check out was friendly! The prices were reasonable and they had a couple nice clearance areas.My new store of choice!

The Family Dollar store is very convenient in our little town. Shelves are well stocked and I was able to find everything I needed, from bread to Lotion to cough drops. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Store is always clean. Ample parking.

This place is awesome. This is my place to go to buy most of the stuff my house needs. The staff is very friendly and they like to know how you are doing as well as a person. Definitely recommend anyone to come shop here. On the plus side as well they are hiring and the head manager is a good friend of mine and she needs all the help she can get. If anyone reads this and you go in, tell them that I sent ya and they will try to do what they can for ya. All's I ask is that you respect them and the store. Thanks everyone.

Manager doesn’t care about the health and safety of the customers!! I was in the store when a man and his daughter, approximately 12 years old, came in without masks on. They were both SICK! Coughing, you could hear they were congested as well. Manager was behind the counter with her mask only over her mouth. She went and talked to the guy, guess they knew each other as they were carrying on and laughing. Didn’t ask him to put on a mask!I left my cart and walked out! I will NOT be back in that store. Shame on the manager for allowing customers, SICK customers to be in there without a mask!

Very rude customer service . I called previously to see if I could return a big box of diapers I had perchased the night before but misplaced the receipt. I wanted to return because I found a better deal elsewhere. So the women on the phone said I could return for full refund. So I get to the store and the line is super long which isn't anyone's fault but I wait in line. I get to the front and explain to the women (her name tag said assistant manager) that I'm returning the diapers and she said she could only give me a gift card. I had already waited in line so I said okay and she processed the gift card for 15$. We'll I had paid 17$ for the box of diapers so I was confused . I asked her why she only put 15$ on the card and she said it was "store policy" so I said "well I'm not going to lose money bringing back these diapers so I'll just keep them I guess". She proceeded to get very rude and said she already processed the gift card so I had to take it. Again I have never been to any store that forces you to lose money by returning the product. She did this in front of a long line of other customers and so I just signed the gift card reciept and said thank you and have a wonderful day. She gave me a nasty look and as I was turning to walk out she then slammed the diapers off the counter and onto the floor. I was shocked and couldn't believe it. I will never be returning to this store.

I was in the store and happened to drop a candle. The employee had asked me in a rude tone "Did you pick it up by the lid!!" I had said no and apologized. She didn't even ask me if I was okay! I paid for the candle and left. The employees are always ornery and not very hospitable.

One plus for Family Dollar is that they sell helium balloons for a very reasonable price. Not a huge variety, but meets the need.

First time being in the new store easy to find prouct but the employee was HORRIBLE my 4 yr old was saying hi 4 x before the lady even acknowledge her. I know you cant b happy all the time in customer service but a child come on i would rather drive to dollar general instead

This is a great store to go to and they got a variety of selection especially with the update they just did but the customer service is horrible they're almost always never in a good mood and they make you feel like you're making them go out of their way to ask for help nine times out of 10 I'm going to Dollar general because of that staff doesn't seem friendly at all, need new workers ASAP!!!!!

This place always has the best stuff. I recently bought one of those pocket-watches that screams in pain when you wind it, and I couldn’t be happier.The face of the watch looks great with the chipped teeth having been expertly laid and collaged together to form the yellow-white base and the slightly frayed hands give it a very visceral look. The outer casing has a moist sheen seemingly all the time and tastes slightly salty, which I love. The cracking and popping that occurs when you pull the small control knob are very satisfying and remind me of going to the chiropractor/barber-surgeon as a kid.The small knob is satisfying to twist with the feeling of stretching tendon and tensile pull of shredded muscle is notable even for a small watch, but the cherry on top is how much pain you know you are inflicting. The screaming, which ranges from short barking cries to howling shrieks of anguish, is exquisite.Having something in your pocket that you can inflict such pain on at least twice a day has been such a fabulous stress-reducer for me that I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys inflicting pain or finds themselves fantasizing about tearing apart small animals.
