Wish I could give less. I called in because I’m having an issue with my medication. I told my doctor I prefer the name brand and that’s what was sent. Instead of listening to me the pharmacist kept going and saying this is what you got in 2021 (filled 6 times there). I transferred it elsewhere because this was the problem and now that it’s back it’s the same issue and then he proceeds to say he will switch it then hung up. He continued to tell me I was yelling at him when I wasn’t. He wouldn’t listen and has bad customer service

Worst pharmacy ever. Was told they would get my medication in transferd my medication over and when I went to pick them up they didn’t had them . Had to to go all weekend without my seizure medication. Way to go!!!!!

RUDE!!! Today I went to pick my scripts up because I received a text notification saying they were available. Well the woman at the window was extremely rude and as I proceeded to tell her and show her my phone she got the pharmacist who's English was absolutely horrible to come out and scream at me saying I'm wrong and not to come back because I asked why I would get the text or why they wouldn't have the pills if I've been filling them in the same place for 2 years

Although my experiences with this G/E Pharmacy in Tarentum have generally been mixed, Kylie M. really stands out. This person is what customer service is about. She is an real asset and I hope she stays.

Is horrible if u need thongs to be done in a timely manner and half the time the people aren't nice when you do get there. And don't try to get threw by phone takes forever. Oh the drive threw add 10 min a car almost or longer unfortunately they are a preferred for insurance will be looking for new but hate walmart!

It’s essential to some of your customers That your drive-through service remain open. If you have two pharmacy workers on site one of them should be Manning your drive-through window. It seems like a self-serving policy that you would not have the drive-through open. A lot of your paying customers rely on your drive through service; it’s not just a convenience for some it is a lifeline.

You can never get them to answer the phone. The line at the pharmacy drive thru is always a 20 minute wait. Your Physician can fax or call a prescription through in the am and you can go 6 hours later and it is still not fulfilled.

Worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. They do the absolute minimum to get your prescription filled, and don't seem too bothered if they screw it up. If your medicine is important at all, or if you definitely need it on time, take your prescription somewhere else.

The pharmacist’s 👩🏼‍⚕️👨🏾‍⚕️who have been there for years know your name and so do the 👩🏻‍💻ones who get your medicine, they 👋greet you so nicely 🙂 and always ask how you are & your family also. They do often get very busy but they move quite quickly and are very apologetic, not their fault if an older or slower customer needs extra ⌚️time or a doctor is taking ⏳forever to get your or someone else’s script 📝in and just 🧐REMEMBER WE ARE ALL HUMAN DOING ARE BEST😊 They have been filling my family’s 💊meds since they opened and they got anything that comes along! So this is where you want to be! Bonus they also do immunizations, 💉Covid-19 booster shots, Covid-19 testing, shingles shots & so much more!

Incompetent, clearly under-compensated staff are always very quick to dismiss any manner of complaint, of course citing “staffing challenges” and the Covid-19 era. Obviously they are not caring for the worker enough if they’ve yet to adjust to this thing now two years in…If Grandma needs her heart meds on a reg basis, DO NOT RELY ON GIANT EAGLE PHARMACY, NEW KENSINGTON - for she will surely die. Such is the level of their incompetence and unconcern.

Can hardly get through to anyone on the phone. There are always long lines. Closed the drive through early. Some nice employees but wouldn't recommend it

worst pharmacy ever. 4 times i went there and waited in line for the same prescription and they didn’t have it ready. no drive thru anymore and sick people all gathered together in line waited 1/2 hour this time. as soon as i got home i transferred all my scripts to CVS

Two prescriptions sent by my doctor for a serious burn on my arm - the pharmacy failed to call me within the 4 hours after my appointment to tell me they did not have the cream i needed in stock and that I’ll have to wait until after 11am tomorrow to pick it up. Had I received a phone call I could’ve had my scripts sent somewhere else to be filled and had what I needed tonight.

I've never had a problem coming to this pharmacy. They have friendly fast service, and are extremely convenient. The only thing I don't like is the drive thru, and they're reason I don't is because they let people who are going to be a while go through the drive thru. I think they should have restrictions on the drive thru as they do in their check out lines.

Went to the pharmacy to by syringes because I am a diabetic. The pharmacist told me I needed a prescription to buy them. I looked it up on the Giant Eagle website. It is up to the discretion of the pharmacist. I asked him why he wouldn't sell it to me. His answer...I don't have to tell you why. I will never shop there again

Used to be a pleasant place to shop, but ever since, it seems, they started the whole curbside thing, checkout has gotten atrocious. I've been getting more and more sick of it as time has gone by, but today I actually, luckily, found an empty/abandoned cart near the checkouts lines that I tossed everything I had in my hands into, and walked out. Between the ONE actual register that was open, the guy ringing 2 separate orders, WITH COUPONS, at one of the self checkouts, and another guy who apparently couldn't find his damn baking potatoes on the produce lookup...I'd had it! 😡My bank is there, so I'll go for that, but Aldi and Walmart are close enough.

This is THE WORST pharmacy in the tri state area...they are slow, condescending and the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered...it's a wonder they are still in business with the way most of them treat their customers...their phone etiquette is much to be desired and the drive thru is a joke...took my business elsewhere and so did many others who used to go there
