I honestly love the pharmacist here. She is thorough, kind, and helpful in almost all the situations I’ve had that weren’t even CVS’ fault. She’s chef kiss on top of the CVS brand. The staff is pretty decent as well. Sometimes it may feel slow but I get accurate timings on fillings and the app keeps me in the know for my meds. All in all I get the feeling of it being a hometown pharmacy like when I grew up.

I believe that they do the best they can with what they have. I have only had one negative interaction with a pharmacy staff at this location. Never had any interactions with the front of the store staff because of the self check out option. My only issues with this particular loction are the hours that they are open. Even banks have better hours of operation. This is the main reason I gave them 3 stars.

This place has gone downhill. The pharmacy hours at the time of posting this are Mon - Sat from 10:00AM - 6:00PM, closed from 1:30PM - 2:00PM.A prescription on auto-fill has been "in process" since Friday 7/27, today is now Wednesday 8/2. Other prescriptions called in by my doctor continuously are not ready by the original promise date CVS text alerts provide. When you call to ask about it, you're on hold forever and always get a grumpy, annoyed sounding employee on the line.I would not continue using CVS if my insurance covered scripts at any other local pharmacy. I can no longer count on them to provide me my medications as needed. That said, I understand that this is likely to do with understaffing and is no fault of the employees at this location. There are a few kind employees there that do their best to provide a good experience, particularly an older woman that is usually at the pharmacy register.

Every experience at this pharmacy is horrible! They send a text stating when prescription will be ready & nearly 24 hours later...it's still not ready! They are rude & careless. Changed the hours they are open, are closed on Sundays & yet they still take their lunch break! Received an inoculation once & the pharmacist told me she was so tired because she "drank too much the previous night". What???? Zero professionalism!

Haven't had to good experience lately. All the good help left, leaving the place short staffed. Not sure what's going on there, but may look else where for my meds.

The New Holland CVS pharmacy cannot keep up with the monthly refills that people require. This is the 3rd time this year that my husband has gone without his breathing treatment medication for 1-4 days because they don’t refill it on time. I go expecting to pick it up, it’s not ready, we will text you when it is! No text, stop again the next day, it’s still not ready! Again I am told it will be another day! Today is the next day and no text! Obviously they do NOT care about the customers they are supposed to serve! Now let’s talk about the pharmacy hours 10am - 6pm, closed Sunday! What is going on at this CVS location?I went into the store to buy some health and beauty products, the different selections of products is minimal and displays are sparse!I DO NOT get my prescriptions filled here and am trying to talk my husband into moving his to a different pharmacy also!Once his are moved elsewhere, I will not return to the New Holland store! CVS YOU SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED!Mary M

This place SUCKS. I wish I could give negative stars but I can’t. Not only have they “misplaced” my medication multiple times but now they randomly close without notices and change the hours to whatever they want now. It’s ridiculous and annoying. Their manager is also very rude and always having and attitude. They need to get their ducks in a row and hire better people.

So I visited the pharmacy for my son's prescription. They didn't have the preauth needed from the insurance company. I left and immediately called the insurance company and they had sent the preauth hours before I was just there. So I call CVS to let them know. Was on hold for a half hour so drove back. I get there and not a person in line. They were just ignoring calls. Then I got yelled at for not calling first. Ughhhh at least they ran the preauth and filled it right away

Pharmacy extremely slow. Put in a prescription on the app way before they even opened. It wasn’t even pills, it was an off the shelf item they have behind the counter. Late afternoon still not ready. Even visited store , no one was waiting there in line. They told me it would take at least 15 min, a simple box on their shelf. Ridiculous. I left.

I was standing at the drop off counter for quite a while before they even acknowledged I existed. Then the pharmacist sniffled(with a cold) every few moments, she then wiped her nose on the back of her arm several times and I could literally see the snot on her arm. She also told they didn’t have one of the prescriptions. After I asked how I could have the prescription transferred to another pharmacy because I needed it ASAP, she went to the shelf and got me some.

This is probably a good CVS store, but my experience with the automated checkout was awful. I only had a few greeting cards, but they refused to register properly in the bag, and then it had a real problem with reading my credit card. An employee had to come and reset the machine twice! A customer was checking out beside me at the other machine with no success, and finally just left her purchase on the machine and walked out in disgust. I use automatic checkouts all the time at other retail stores with no problems, but these machines are atrocious, and need to either be removed or replaced.

If I could give negative stars I absolutely would. Every time we have a prescription sent here there is an issue. Pharmacy employees are rude and have no respect for people's time. I will never be returning to this one again.

My prescriptions were transferred to CVS when my regular pharmacy closed. The first time I got a refill, there was a mix up with the number of refills left. The pharmacy said the previous pharmacy made an error even thought I was looking at the two bottles from CVS which showed the discrepency. Then the next time, my doctor called in three one- month supply of a medicine. The pharmacy gave me all three months at once, even though it was a medicine that was highly addictive. When I questioned the pharmacist, at first she said that the doctor had called in a 90 day script. Then she said that I had agreed to getting a 90 day script when I came in last month, although I only been using the drive in since March. Finally she said that what she did was perfectly legal, which says to me that she knew she had screwed up and was trying to cover it. How can I trust a pharmacist like that? The pharmacist at my new pharmacy is more trustworthy. I will never use CVS again.

stop using coupons and just lower the prices on the items. Saving paper and less work for the customer and staff.

Came for a COVID test and got in the wrong lane because there was no visible sign. The actual sign for the covid lane is so close to the building you would have to be next to it to be able to read it. The lady conducting the tests was pretty brilliant. However, when I called into the pharmacy to make sure I was in the right lane I spoke to a different young lady who was so angry she couldn't understand what I was trying to tell her. It's convenient because it's close by but I usually avoid this place if I can. Long waits and a very mix bag of people working here. I can only imagine how great the management is...

My prescription was in process for three days. Called this AM and was promised it would be ready by 3:30 at the latest. Arrived at 5:35 and it was still in process. Still waiting ....

I don't understand why the pharmacy thinks it is ok to be rude to people all the time and talk to you like a child. Every time we go into this place they have really poor attitudes and think they know what they are doing. They have tried to over charge us on multiple occasions and we would have to get the insurance involved because they don't know what they are doing and won't admit when they are proven wrong.

Your store is clean and employees up front are helpful. The only thing you have gone back in the pharmacy is the older lady with white hair who runs the check out.( im sorry wish i knew your name) others are rude and very impatient. CVS hire more people like her and make her employee of the month and while your at it give the woman a raise she goes above and beyond any employee at that store.

My new insurance is forcing me to go to CVS. This was my first experience at CVS in New Holland Pa. today. My doctor called in my script today. i got to the pharmacy to pick it up and they told me they didn't receive the prescription. Came back an hour and a half later, still nothing. Called the doctors office and they tell me the pharmacy received it an hour and forty five minutes ago. Had my doctors office call them and no one would answer the phone, I could hear it ringing for almost seven minutes, finally a girl answered and put them on hold right away. she came over to where I had been waiting and I told her to pick up the phone, my doctor is on hold. She did...I heard her say, oh, I know what happened and then told me it would take a long time to get my prescription ready because they were swamped... As I was waiting there, almost every customer was complaining of prescriptions not being ready or never received. People on their phones wondering to the person on the other end if they were in the right place because they didn't have anything for them. I walked out...2 hours of waiting and got nothing. When I got home I had 2 voicemails on my home phone from two and a half hours ago stating that This was CVS and I should be sure to bring my insurance card when I pick up my prescriptions and WELCOME TO CVS! I'm calling my insurance company tomorrow. There has to be a better option.

On Sunday October 18th at 10:20 a.m. I met with Jade Lee, NP through the drive-thru window at the New Holland CVS for a COVID test. I made my appointment approximately 24 hrs before. The CVS website stated that a picture of my insurance card was RECOMMENDED, not required. Jade Lee informed me that she would not be able to give me a COVID test because I did not upload my insurance card as “required”. When I informed her that the website did not state that she immediately became defensive. More than once, she accused me of being at fault. Her tone became harsh and her responses were short. I was not allowed to hand her my insurance card, rightfully so, however, she would not allow me to get back in line and simply email a picture of my insurance card or hold it up through the window. The way Jade Lee behaved was not only unprofessional but disrespectful. I understand that what she’s required to do in her current position at CVS is not easy but I work in a school and also have been faced with unpleasant situations however I’ve learned that remaining respectful and giving grace is what we should all practice during these times. I’d also like to mention that I was able to make another appointment at a different CVS within the same hour. At this CVS, the person in front of me did not upload their insurance card prior to her appointment and the NP was very kind and accommodating and allowed her to hold it up through the drive-thru window. **The website now states that uploading a picture of your insurance card is required.

The woman that works the counter with the red Britney hair is very rude. Will be moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Last month she delayed filling script five days because she entered wrong numbers and refused to check what she did and it's not the first time

Cvs New Holland is the worst pharmacy in history. Guarantee it. If you need prescriptions go somewhere else. They constantly give patients the wrong medications! You will wait not minutes, not hours but days for medications. They constantly tell people the doctors office didn’t send over the medication, they call me and I tell them we did, I call the pharmacy and the pharmacist says yeah we have it ready here, I call the patient back and tell them, they will go there and the pharmacy will say they don’t have it!!!!! It’s so frustrating! This happens on a daily occurrence. We have many people that get the wrong medication!! Not even the same thing we sent over. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

I've never really interacted with the pharmacy. But I can say without question that the front house staff is incredible. They n don't just point to things when you alsk where things are... They show you!! When extra bucks don't work right they are super accomodating and fair! I've gotten to know about them and they know my name and speak to my infant. I just really love these people and expect great customer service when I go here and I'm never disappointed

Been going to this pharmacy for years and never had an issue until the last 20 hours. Went to drop off a perscription for my son yesterday for an ointment for pink eye and they didnt have it said they would have it today around 3pm. Went back today at 4ish and they said they did not get it in their shipment. Being that my son is 9 months old with pink eye and super goopy eyes I called back in around 6 to see if they could tell me the closest CVS that had it and the woman who answered the phone first off had no manners at all and said hello very grumpily and then proceeded to tell me i had to call around to other CVS pharmacies to see who had it on hand. Oh and then had to drive over an hour to get it. As of today my sons perscriptions will never be getting filled here any longer because clearly they are too incompetent to get a perscription filled when they say they'll have it filled. Pharmacy of caring i think not.Sincerely the mom of a very unhappy 9 month old who was having issues seeing because of pink eye all because your pharmacy doesnt have the ointment on hand.

My daughter was diagnosed with pneumonia doctor sent in a script for an antibiotic at 11 am. We went to pick it up at 1 and was told it wasn't ready and would take 30 minutes. We ran some errands went back 30 minutes later and told it wasn't ready yet again and it would take 20 minutes or so. At this point we had to get her home so my friend volunteered to go back and get it for us at 5 pm. she also had to wait 15 minutes untill it was finally ready. This is not the first time this has happened but will be the last as we will be going elsewhere for our prescriptions.

Horrible. I requested my prescription be ready at 3:00 and it was not ready until two days later. Went to pick it up and, and waited in the pickup line for 15 minutes, only to be told it wasn't ready. Couldn't wait around so had to make another trip to pick it up. So frustrating! Why do they tell you it will be ready at a certain time if it's not going to be! Not even an apology. It also appears that the pharmacy doesn't have enough staff.

This is literally the worst pharmacy ever. Totally incompetent. I waited in the drive thru line for a drop off. Man said it would be ten minutes. Fifteen minutes later I ask about it and a woman said it would be twenty minutes. I said it's already been ten. Twenty minutes later still nothing. I went home. I would give them less than a star and do a store survey if I could. Total jerks. I am so upset I signed a medication agreement for this pharmacy, I don't ever want to visit this CVS again

Last night I went in CVS a minute before closing which I know is not a good move on my part but I really needed cold medicine for my husband and this was the last store open in the area. Ken was more than happy to help me which meant staying after their closing time. And instead of him being frustrated he was friendly and said he hoped my husband would feel better soon. I thought this customer service was impressive, thanks Ken!

It doesn't matter whether you're dealing with the pharmacy or taking a few things up to the regular register--plan to be there a very long time! If you're going to use the drive-thru, be sure to gas up your car too. I have been there at all hours of the day/night and there are never enough employees to handle the volume. After 6 months of frustration, I've decided to take my prescriptions and business elsewhere.
