The place to go if you don't have a lot of money to spend. I wish they had more selection and a bigger building. Lesser known brands here. I'd rather support this place than pay the high prices of Giant Eagle. You can get twice as many groceries here for the same price. Two locations in New Castle. They will bag it for you at the one in Neshannock Twp.

Not the best selection. Some good. Some bad. Minus was no bags for purchases. There were boxes to use off to the side. Only stop by here once in a while for some specific items. Just okay. Maybe a 3 even...average. There is mostly off brand items. But good deals to be had if you look and check their ads. Hope that helps.

Didn't have any of what I was looking for, hardly any "diet" food and no "lactose free" milk. Prices are very good. Bring your own grocery bags (or buy there at the register). The customer service and cashiers are fantastic!! Friendly, efficient, and helpful!

To be clear, this review is for the Butler Ave. location. Good store that has (mostly) pretty good prices on a pretty wide variety of products. The store is a little outdated, especially compared to the one on Wilmington Rd., and you also have to bag your own groceries, unlike the Wilmington Rd. location, but I don't mind. It seems they don't care as much for the Butler Ave. location or it's patrons, and I'm pretty sure I know why, which ,if I'm correct, is pretty sad. But this store has very friendly employees and they do have good prices on most things so I feel it deserves a lot of credit. I shop there often.

Tiny selection and my baby was thirsty. I wasn't wearing shoes and the lady working said "state law you can't enter the store without shoes" and told me to leave. I was only there for a water and thats an outright lie. Its not illegal to go barefoot anywhere. Theres a difference between store policy and the law Karen.Good cheese though.

Disorganized Managements, Staff and Store as a whole. Working there is not worth the pay of 7.50 hr. A lot of their meats are either freezer burnt or brown. Their prices are a bit extreme considering they sell nothing brand named. Such as Kraft Cheese, Hamburger helper and many other items that are considered "off-brand.

Being a retail store manager, I appreciate a well ran store. I shop at the New Castle, PA store about once a week and I live in Boardman, Ohio. Your store is always very well stocked and organized and I always find what I need! I never wait very long at the checkout and the cashiers are always so pleasant. I also want to point out the greeter/shopping cart guy is extremely friendly and helpful. I actually asked him for his name tonight to include in my review. His name was James. You should be very proud of your employees! I always look forward to your store.

Great prices, products and friendly employees. And today I would like to apploud this Save a Lot store for the courtesy they did to their employees. Not many companies would do this. After the loss of an employee, Save a Lot closed for the day. For the store's thoughtfulness to their employees, I will highly recommend grocery shopping there to my friends and family even more.Condolences on your loss ❤

Overly high priced for a low cost food store compared to other save alots this one doesn't even bag your groceries and I have been in a lot of save a lots and they have all bagged ur groceries plus poorly set up. First and last time I will ever utilize this store

Save a lot is great in my opinion. Not only because you can be in and out but because of their prices. I can fill a buggy for $100. That and their off brands are comparable to name brands. Great!

over cost for a save a lot.mid as well do giant eagle.shop and save mason jars $4-6 depending on sizesave a lot was marked $13.99/ can asparagus/between giant eagle and save a lot $30 cents difference.
