I researched a lot a LOT of places/breeders when looking for my axolotl. Most of the places that came up had terrible reviews and seemed unethical. A lot of the bigger breeders felt untrustworthy and I saw some people saying their axolotls lacked the care they needed. We saw a mention of Tina’s Happy Axolotls on a thread specifically for axolotl owners and saw very good reviews. And we ended up having a very positive experience with Tina! I contacted her about a specific axolotl morph and she showed me what other ones she had before they were listed. That’s when I found my baby Clementine!! We loved her the second we saw her photo. Tina was very helpful and responsive when it came to answering my questions and concerns. And I asked a fair amount of questions because I wanted to be fully prepared. Overall we had a great experience with Tina and her axolotls and we definitely recommend going through her if you’re looking for an axie baby!

I had such an amazing experience with Tina. I was interested in an Axolotl morph that she didn’t have listed yet and she went above and beyond to show me what she was going to have available. I ended up getting Stella (short for stellar) on the 2nd anniversary of my daddy’s passing which made her arrival even more special to me. She arrived happy and healthy. Even better I can tell she was interacted with frequently by humans because she does not have any of the apprehension my other two lotls had. I’m so in love with her already.

We received our axolotl a few weeks ago. It arrived healthy with plenty of information on how to care for it. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We even were able to get supplies (sponge filter) to set our filter up the same day! I highly recommend getting an axolotl from Happy Axolotls!

Was happy with getting my axolotl very experienced and knew what she was talking about when we went to get my axolotl. Then after I came home and had questions wouldn’t answer me when she said at any time we could call or text. She would get back to us and didn’t help us after we got home barley at all. She was very helpful when we got my axolotl but then we got home and now can’t get ahold of her. We even told her this was our first so we didn’t know how to do much or set anything up. We will most likely never get one from her again. She gave us wrong information about some stuff also.

Exceptional breeder! I bought my daughter a Axolotl from Tina. We are very pleased with our new member of the family. She was shipped to us with extreme care and arrived in good health. She is exactly what we wanted and more. I have seen plenty of Axolotls in person from local Breeders and the one Tina sent us is exquisite. The pricing was also better than anyone else.
