Had such an amazing experience with giant eagle that I have to rave about it! I had a picture in my head about how I wanted my kids cake to look and that nailed it!! Talked on the phone with the bakers for maybe 5 mins explaining everything and said half would be monster truck theme and for them to run with that idea and they did!! I bought the monster trucks and quad from dollar tree but I needed a good base to the cake and they went above and beyond! Would definitely recommend a 1000x over! Plus got deli slider sandwiches and fried chicken which were amazing!! Thanks so much giant eagle family!! Also shout out to Jonathan with party planning for making everything so painless!!

Go somewhere else to buy alcohol. It's nice that you expanded that section but never have a worker there to check anyone out. And when you complain about waiting they send their slowest worker who always looks like they are hating life. You can always find someone's purchase abandoned at the register. The people at the deli just watch you stand there. Thanks for the great service.

This is my "Go to" supermarket mainly because they have all of the components for a great shopping experience: an amazing bakery, helpful and friendly staff, super awesome sales on products that I normally would get as opposed to just buying something because it's on sale, the deli and it's thoughtful employees who ask if you'd like paper between your cheese slices (so that the cheese won't stick together) even though it might take a little more time for them to do that, super efficient curbside service, and convenient location.Bakery: I absolutely love, love, love the bakery's Asiago bagels!!! Let me just say they are second to none & if you find a loaf of bread, but would like it sliced, simply ask and they are happy to slice and rebag it for you :) Are you in a rush and need a last minute birthday cake to pick up??? No problem. Pick one out -n- they will personalize it for you :DFinally, I decided to write this review today, because of the excellent checkout experience. If you ever have any type of issue, they will do what they can to put that smile on your face.So, whether it's curbside or from the time you enter the store to the time you leave and everything in between....FIVE stars!

I ran into the store today to pick up a few items and when I was almost ready to check out realized I had left my card wallet at home. I mostly use curbside as it is sometimes hard for me to get around in the store. I pushed my cart over to the curbside area in the store to see if they could let me run home to get my credit card. It was no problem whatsoever and the one lady grabbed my cold items to put in cooler and had them push my cart inside their area till I got back.When I returned they immediately got my cart and items back, so I could finish shopping. Kudos as this saved me from having to just give up and go home empty handed!

Seafood department rips you off!!! We paid for 3.4 pounds of crab legs today. Weighed them at home and you can see it’s over a pound less. Very disappointed.

Regional supermarket with average pricing and large assortment of foods to choose from. Hot foods, deli, bakery, produce, and meat departments are very good.Update: times have changed and so has customer service.Update II: bagging isn't that difficult if you take your time, especially when the checkout lines aren't busy.Update III: prices reflecting the current socio-economic changes. ⬆⬆⬆Update IV: prices reflecting new competition 😁

I think for quality and quantity it's one of the nicest supermarkets around. On the same note it's one of the most expensive supermarkets. Miracle Whip was 7.99. Walmart , Aldi's ,and County Market are considerably cheaper the same bottle. But Giant Eagle has very nice products.

Little bit of this and that. Has the most decent prices on fresh seafood as far as grocers go. Local chocolates and jam. Ethnic food selection is a bit better then other places as well. Deli meals are on the bland side but chicken is always good

Got right in with no waiting, store was very busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Shelves were all very well stocked, store looked clean and organized. Plenty of help at service desk. Lines moving along smoothly at checkouts.

I used to love shopping at Giant Eagle. Now I hate it.It is clean, bright, and well-organized. The aisles are wide, the selection is great, and things are easy to find. I used to feel happy to pay more just for these advantages.Here's why I can no longer stand shopping there. I see something I want. It has four prices: regular, advantage card, digital coupon, and five-item-mix-and-match. Okay, I find four more items with the mix-and-match tag. Sorry, sir, these two items cannot match unless you also have a digital coupon. All you have to do is download an app or exchange the items while a line of customers waits behind you.The people who work there don't even understand the arcane rules. It reminds me of Sears right before the bankruptcy.Bottom line: at Aldi, I can get a great price just by shopping. At Giant Eagle, I might get a good price by winning their Chinese checkers game, or I might look stupid by losing. Goodbye Large Bird.

The store is usually kept clean, and fairly decent with keeping things stocked. Variety is lacking with some things, as with any grocery store. However, just like any other Giant Eagle, their prices can be unnecessarily high. They get a 3 star rating due to pricing and variety.

They were not very well stocked, however it was a few days before Christmas so things were quickly being bought up. The store was clean, the bathroom could of been a little cleaner paper towel were all over the floor. Staff seemed to walk different direction if I was walking towards them to ask them a question about where a product was. As I don't come up to this store often.

For my wife, it's her #1 grocery store in New Castle. For me, it's a great parking lot where I can walk our dog and help her overcome her ongoing anxiety from previous owners. Not sure how it started but thank you GE for allowing us to use your parking lot while Pet Mommy shops!

Beautiful flowers by the entry as well as a great selection of produce, the bakery is always busy and has some delicious breads. Constant sales makes this one of the better grocers around, and the gas savings do add up.

I work right beside here. I usually run over at lunch time and am able to get in and out. It's always clean and put together. Lots of selection for groceries. Signs help easily navigate the store

Last three times I’ve been here have tarnished my opinion of this location. First, the young gentleman in produce on his phone right upon entering the store: why? The other two times were within an hour of closing. Both cashiers seemed it was a good time to check their phones rather than stand at the only open register in the store. Are the managers inept or just stupid?

This was my first job coming out of high school, and I've never felt so un-included.The staff is not so friendly towards POC (people of color). I've been pushed away many times by the same three people I worked with for the time I was there. I worked at this giant eagle for four months and they were all terrible. I would never shop nor work here again. This giant eagle is so disappointing.

Produce is horrible here. THE WORST. I've complained numerous times. They don't care. Have to dig through everything to make sure your fruits and vegetables don't have mold and/or spoiled. I can't believe some of the stuff they put on the shelf. Absolutely disgusting. There have been yogurt's which are two months past due. Just about every time I get them. I tell them about it and they just say well that's what they send us. Same story before and during pandemic. Only now you have to dodge the employee "shoppers". They literally run everyone else over to fill their carts and don't help with anything.Pharmacy is slow, horrible. Good workers don't stay long. Palpable problem there.Closer than the post office to buy stamps. Other than the stamps, I won't go to this place anymore.
