Great selection of clothes but poor staff. A good amount of them don't know how to do a return or exchange. It takes forever when checking out. Also the clothes could be organized a bit better. I've worked in retail, I know good customer service when I see it and unfortunately most of them aren't.

Been there a few times just to look what they have. Nothing different. What is interesting is they have a HUGE help wanted banner on the front of the building. Usually means help is hard to keep .

Gabe's is a great store to save money and get name brand things! If you love Disney decor like I do, you'll find cute things for cheap! I always find nice things at Gabe's.

I am still in awe...The New Castle Gabe's has it going on. A big shout of Thanks to all the employees there that work hard at keeping their store neat, clean and most importantly, organized.I have been to the Gabe's in Boardman and Hermitage which are hard for me to shop in. They are very crowded with merchandise and it doesn't allow for a good shopping experience which is what some of us are excited to get back to after Covid.So again....I am screaming "Thank you " to the New Castle store for caring about your work environment and your customers 😀💞👏👏👏

Gabe’sKind of reminds me of a Gaylords back in my days! Though I do gotta say the place is clean and the staff here is friendly! I asked for assistance and no gripping, pleasant to talk to! Overall I’m happy with this place!

I been to games at other places and was always able to leave spending hundreds (oops I'm a splurger) but when I went in to the one in new castle I barely was able to spend 100. Maybe I'm just old fashioned, and my style is out of date. But the clothes didn't seem appealing to me. They do however have some nice home decors, pillows that are really comfy. Everything is cheap here so if u are looking for a bargain and need to spice up ur wardrobe I recommend stopping in maybe your style is there. The options of shoes were few and in between.

Update: Been a year since I wrote a review here. I got to say completely different experience the other night. 7-22-23 Night shift. The staff was so helpful and nice, especially the man at the counter he was so patient and I could really tell he was trying his best to help me. Wish I could remember his name. The employees were laughing and smiling which I find delightful. The store itself was clean and organized and had a lot of great deals!Old ReviewGabes is great...I have always loved Gabes and was super excited when New Castle finally got one. But the staff and management is just plain rude and have horrible attitudes. An item had wrung up wrong the cashier went completely crazy with yelling about it was her break time and she don't need this (Cuss words) and she asked the manager for an override and her attitude was just plain out very cold tone. I don't even want to go in to shop because of this. Who wants to be uncomfortable when shopping?

Great place to compare place and always check their clearance, you never know what they have. Store clean and as long as you are in 2weeks period and you have the receipt they will take return with no problem.

Took a chance and shipped here. I needed to find a nice dress for an event. They have a nice selection... and I found what I needed, and then some! Found some faith based t-shirts... love it! Good selection of purses too. Got a snack for the little one. The staff was very friendly and helpful. So stop in and shop. I know I will be back!!!

Gabe's is a great place for kids clothes, including back to school shopping. Name brand clothes with significant discounts, and they have a pretty good overall selection for a store that sells overstock.

Gabe's is okay. I bought a phone charger and a ten foot long charging cord there.... The prices were right, but neither works. They would not return either, so I'm out that money now. Also, the New Castle PA location REALLY needs to have more registers open during the day. One other comment - to the management - PLEASE allow your cashiers to speak to the people who continually cut line. I was there today and 2 old women with carts full COMPLETELY cut the line all the way to the front!! I don't care if you're old or dead, you gotta wait in line like everyone else! No one wanted to speak up and the cashier said she wasn't allowed to. Incredible.. I won't be back!

This store is so unorganized. Tried shopping for girls and boys clothes but they had alot of infant clothing mixed in these sections. The shoe area has sizes all over and not in the correct sections. Finally after getting fed up and just wanted to get what I had and leave to shop elsewhere, we had another issue. As we were checking out the one item that we had had a price tag of 9.99 but the cashier said that it wasn't ringing up because it wasn't their tag. She called for a price check and the item was marked up to 12.99. I will never shop at this store, ill shop elsewhere from now on. I couldn't even fill out the customer survey online because the page was deleted.

I've been here a few times. Employees are friendly. Many items that are great prices! I'd recommend taking a look at their pantry section if you like trying new and interesting snacks!

Until just recently I didn't even know Gabe's existed anymore. When I was just a little girl my parents would take me to to local Gabe's near me and we would go shopping. Now that I live in around the New Castle area there is new Gabe's in the area. And there are all kinds of really nice things there. And for named brand items they give you one good price on their products that they sale for you. You can't beat Gabe's deals they have for you. You want some name brand items go to Gabe's. They treat you right

They completely re organized this store and don't bother moving there over head signs so now you have to spend more time looking for things because they moved everything to a new location
