This was such fun. Owner Christy is a wonderful host and alpaca mom! I discovered the opportunity to take a tour when I bought alpaca socks from her online shop. Loved shopping in person and stocking up on the best socks! The credit towards shopping made it even better!! Thanks for having us!!

Wow, what an awesome and fun time we had! Christy was very friendly and knowledgeable about the alpacas. We also had the pleasure of petting, hugging, getting our picture taken with them and giving them treats. Afterwards, we visited the store there, where we learned of all the different things that alpaca wool can make.We definitely would recommend going there!! Thank you Christy

Charming little farm and cute alpacas. The host Christy was very nice! The girls and the 2 boys were so cute. We got to pet them and feed them then we got to check out the shop. Recommend if you love alpacas 😀

Highly recommended if you’re looking for something fun to do one afternoon. The owners were wonderful and it was amazing interacting with their alpacas. The store credit at the end was an added bonus to grab some alpaca socks!

I visited the farm over the weekend, and Christy was a fantastic host. I’m considering keeping some farm animals in retirement, and she shared a lot of information about how she got started with alpaca farming, what it takes to keep the herd, and the financials. And let’s not forget the stars of the show…the alpacas themselves. It was great getting up close and personal with the herd, especially the super-outgoing (and hungry) Butterscotch Krimpet. I finished off my visit by putting the store credit to good use and went home with a beautiful pair of teal fingerless gloves. Definitely a fun, interesting way to spend some time on the weekend.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was casual and relaxed. You could get as close to the alpacas as you were comfortable with or not at all. The animals are well loved and cared for. I liked the store which had items that were made from the fiber of the alpacas that you just met and interacted with. You could say they shared their warmth 😊

Christy did such an amazing job talking to us about the alpacas and letting us give them their snacks. It was so awesome to see them up close and interact with them. We learned about the operation and about the business. Plus we were able to shop in the store and got some yarn that I am excited to try to turn into something! The yarn I got was actually from Q, one of the males on the farm!

If you get the chance to visit, GO! The tour is fantastic and the ability to meet an alpaca and then buy its yarn, if you choose, is a gorgeous and rare opportunity. Watch out, though, Butterscotch Krimpet will try to get ALL of your feed! ;)

Positively Alpaca was such an amazing experience. Christy was very knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful tour. You can tell this is her passion and she cares so much for the alpacas. Loved being able to feed them and interact with them. Her shop was amazing too, we got some goodies. It was a great experience for all members of our family. We enjoyed being close to the alpacas and learning about them. We were able to hand feed each one, hug and pet the alpacas. The tour guide, Christy, was very patient and gave us lots of interesting knowledge about the animals. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Went to Positively Alpaca this past weekend and had the best time! Our guide was so kind and incredibly knowledgeable about EVERYTHING alpaca! What a fantastic alpaca farm to visit! Christy was very welcoming as she met us by our car. As we toured the farm and met all these warm and wonderful animals, she explained to us all about the alpacas.Christy showed us how to hold the animals, so we could get pictures hugging them. The alpacas were friendly and could not get enough of the treats she gave us.This alpaca farm has a store to purchase items to take away as souvenirs that can be worn as well.If you are in the Mohnton, Pa area, you will surely enjoy time here.

If you're looking for an up-close experience with the world's softest animals, I highly recommend Positively Alpaca. Tours are by appointment only so you and your group have lots of time to spend petting, feeding, learning about (and hugging!) the alpacas. Christy was friendly and knowledgeable and just wonderful all-around. The price includes a credit at the gift shop where you can purchase products made from alpaca fur. We had a blast and plan on going back.

We were able to get a tour on short notice which was tremendously helpful since I failed to plan well. Christy was friendly and knowledgeable and answered every question I had about alpacas. We were able to spend a lot of time with the herd and feed/pet them. We did the tour because my daughter wanted to see alpacas in person but after the tour I’m not sure which one of us enjoyed it more!

Thank you for accommodating our friend who required a wheelchair. This was an especially joyful experience for my friend who is blind because she loves interacting with and petting animals (the alpacas were very patient and friendly). We also thank you for the generous discount in your shop...we all were excited to have a pair of locally made alpaca wool socks!
