Scratch that it gets better, did you know price gouging in one of the poorest cities in America is legal!! this place shows! its a must you always shop here the miserable workers embrace everyone!

I bought money orders and stamped envelopes. I thought it was very expensive. 2.00 for 2 envelopes and 1.00 for a money order. Now the money orders cost more after all

Tried to use atm was told ” we don’t keep money in it”. On another occasion, after making a purchase asked to use restroom, was told no restroom. The fruits are sub standard and this place has a dingy feel about it.The ppl who work there are nice enough but this is not the apex of grocery stores.

Consumer alert by the ACHD for rodent chewed on and peed on food items. Absolutely disgusting. How on earth could they not notice this? Should be closed to the public. NOW is actually ORDERED to close by the board of health as of 7/14. Someone is going to get sick if they reopen it. EDIT: CONSUMER ALERT AGAIN. Rat infestations. Chewed and gnawed on food. A disgrace. Close this place before it kills someone.

I came in cause I forgot something at the other shop n saves this place should just close. It's dirty staff was rude no reason. Also I had my own car but they had wat I perceived as jitney drivers asking for rides. All of this makes no wonder why businesses closed in this high traffic area.

Meat looked terrible. Chicken wings tips were brown. Roasts were darkNot red or pink. What happened? Never noticed before. Is it safe to purchase?

Groceries are too expensive to be offered brown fruits, vegetables and meat. I've noticed most grocery stores offer limited products of the items listed above; but to have close to expired products at the full price to your community is sad. Because you serve a poor community, that doesn't mean they should have such poor quality food, at full price. SHAME ON YOU!

Closed their bathroom due to COVID and have yet to reopen it. Masks aren't required but customers can't use the restroom? Feels like they just don't want to deal with letting customers use it. Spending my money elsewhere.

They never carry a quarter of items that Giant Eagle has there meats and produce are horrible. Not to mention there customer service etiquette leaves something to be desired from cashiers all the way up to there white and black broads that work office who are management and some white dude

Staff, the ones I've met, have not been friendly and seems I get asked if I want drugs before I even get inside. Some things in the store are good but the prices are definitely not shop n save. Produce is outrageous on pricing.

Surprised the health department isn't there more often. Dairy department is always horrible. They never check dates. Also the woman who works in the office (not Sharon) but the older black lady is extremely rude to customers. Trys to also chase the jittinies away

Walked in place was dirty and unorganized. Went to the deli, male and female both barely had a mask covering on. His bread and mustache was clearly visible. Very rude when I tried to place my order. He also did not have a hairnet on. The work area was filthy. Ended up leaving my cart because of this. Come on mangement get your staff together you are clearly not in compliance with food safety standards.. Health department needs to be notified. Won't be back. Don't want to even give one star.. By the way I realize it's cov19 but you all need to do better than this.

The older cashier needs to stop snatching cards and let the other cashiers do their job. Being helpful is one thing but to take over another cashier as the are asking customers questions is another. Grrr

This store stinks but it’s the closest store and gas is quite high. Idk what they need to do but the smell is unbearable. I look around and everyone seems to not mind it. I asked the cashiers at two different visits did they smell that and they both said no.

Like their produce & bakery selections. I can typically find items here that I can't find elsewhere. Just watch the parking lot bc ppl don't always watch how they pull in & out here, almost got hit a few times. Other than that it's a decent store.

Horrible, the very last store,that I would go to, went there last weekend because giant eagles didn't have what I needed, they had one pack of my meat, so I went to the other shopnsave in Olympia shopping center, same owner,Ross, the exact same meat package, was 1.80 less per pound, I can not make this up,yes they hike up the prices on 5th Ave in McKeesport, taking advantage of the residents in McKeesport

Not a lot of variety in food. Sometimes the shelves are empty and a lot of times they dont have the items i want in stock.But they have a bad employee that took my stuff back 1x and I tried to take some stuff back a 2nd time (tv dinners) which my husband couldn't eat and the employee wouldn't take the food back. Stated, oh you just brought stuff back the other day we can't take no more stuff back because that is causing us to lose a lot of money.Plus jitney drivers hound you for a ride at this store too.Unbelievably pathetic!

The service was great. But their meat is below standard. Wouldn't buy anymore meat from this place. I known the manger for years. He was transferred to another location. And the current manager is about profit before quality. Which is fundamentally inexplicable

I hate this place. They think everyone is stealing from them. And they will also talk about you while your standing right there. The old white haired guy manager is the worst. He should have been fired years ago. If your looking for a jitney in mckeesport they are all parked at shop n save. The owner charged each driver a fee to park there till the IRS and the PUC fined him. All about the money. Same owner as the one in Olympia shopping center and you'd never know the stores are night and day. If you want treated right drive the few extra miles to their other location...

Wonderful..the lady at the counter was very friendly...the manager is so very nice..the employees are happy...the true reflection of the managers compassion towards her subordinates...I would reccomend to people to stop and check it out...the community is very fortunate to have this store..one last thing is the cleanliness of the store...outstanding!

Come on people, one of the worst supermarkets I have ever seen in Pittsburgh. The meat is not good , the veg and fruit are a trip . Don't waste your time .
