Tried to return a $20 flare tool. It was never opened. They would not give me my money back even with a receipt. They did only offer a store credit. Terrible business.

I usually like this store...but last few times I tried to call, it rings twice and goes into a recording saying "this person does not have voice mail, try again" and hangs up. Heading to Och's I guess.

They have some very nice stuff at this store, the staff is attentive and wants to help. A must visit of you have a camp in this area.

My friend asked about honoring a store credit and the owner was unwilling to work anything out. (His right to deny and our right to take future business elsewhere. In my opinion poor business practice, but I digress). Said friend politely told the owner he will be taking our future business elsewhere. Unhappy with that comment, the store owner thought it was necessary to verbally berate him with explicit language and threaten upon my friend physical violence. All the while his wife behind the counter pulls a pistol! The owners son who works at the store threatened to put a bullet in my friends head. My friend had just spent money in their store! This is a true story and it is a documented incident with the Pennsylvania State Police. Tread lightly with these loose cannon owners.

Poor service:me and my dad were in there for not even 5 minutes before the owner came up to us and said to"get what we need and leave"when my dad said we are just looking,the owner cursed us up and down and told us to leave...if you are in need of a hardware store in this area,I recommend shoups true value in Marienville.
