We stayed at the Rocky Mountain cabin which allows dogs, has a hot tub, and if you need is also handicapped accessible! The cabin is spacious with an inviting front room consisting of the kitchenette with dishes, dining room table, futon which doubles as a two person bed, and the TV which we were too busy to use. The bathroom is spacious and accommodating. The bedroom has a queen and a base heater if you’re here in a colder month. Key though is the hot tub! Private and preset to 102 degrees it was the highlight of our weekend outside of the hiking. Would certainly stay again! Bring your own bedding and towels!!Noteworthy details: Forest cabin with hot tub

We had an amazing time staying here for the weekend. The cabin was beautiful and the view was beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer. We actually got married in our cabin in front of the fireplace thanks to Lynn helping us out. This will definitely be a tradition for us to come back here. I’m looking forward to coming in the summer. Bryan and Lynn were the nicest hosts and very accommodating.

Amazing campground with spacious campsites! Very friendly staff and a nice little camp store. Our kids enjoyed playing with the toys they have there.Nearby activities: Cook Forest is not far from the campground.

Figured I'd take a moment now that we are back home to give just a small thank you for our stay at the Rocky Mountain cabin this week. Upon arrival we were shown everything we needed to know about the cabin and the campground. The lot was spacious and had everything we needed. The cabin was super clean, I hope you were satisfied in the condition we left it. Both Brian and Jon were very pleasant and made us feel welcome. We very much enjoyed the hot tub, spacious rooms in the cabin, and even a couple of the DVDs from the shed on our rainy nights. We hope to return next year! Only complaints we had was the wifi connection which was basically none and those pesky fire alarms which made cooking a hassle, however both manageable for a weeks getaway..

SPOTLESS! if clean makes you happy, this place will make you delirious with joy! Friendly and warm staff make you feel like their family. They were welcoming and available to chat. The hot tubs are sparkling clean and well maintained, and oh so perfect for our crisp fall weekend. The cabins are close together, but they are oriented so you cant even tell if there are people on either side of you. It was very quiet, and we enjoyed their community camp fire a few nights and also borrowed a few of their movies that we took back to watch. Situated in the heart of the "fun zone" in the PA wilds, the only thing we lacked was time to fit in everything we wanted to do. The fall foliage provided a perfect backdrop for our kinzua sky walk, and the hiking we chose, and the zoo at Farmers Inn. We will definitely be back to this jem of a campground!

These cabins are the best for a week or weekend getaway absolutely any time of the year. They're stocked with everything you need to make amazing food and have a comfy place to read, play games, and watch movies. In the summer there are tons of hiking trails nearby, and in the winter the hottub is PERFECT. We've gone three times so far and cannot wait to go back again. The owners are very sweet and do everything they can to make your stay amazing. Check them out!

Spent close to a week with my children. It was their first lengthy camping trip and a much needed vacation, we all had a great time!! Would've booked another night had the cabin we rented been available. The park is close to other activities in cooks forest which worked out great to get the kids out and about. But also plenty to do in the park ( the kids loved being able to pick movies to watch since we did have some rainy weather) and littles first time In a big pool. The staff we seen ( John and Brian) were awesome taking the time to interact with my kids ( my little has 101 questions about EVERYTHING) we hope to make it a yearly vacation for us ❤

This is one of the best campgrounds I've been to! We stayed 2 nights on a road trip from Buffalo to Raleigh with our 2 kids, in the Allegheny cabin. Lots of stuff for the kids to do- very clean pool, outdoor arcade, basketball, volleyball, playground, lots of open space, lots of common areas and staff is great. If we ever come back this way we'll be checking them out again for sure, whether cabin or with my camper. Just can't say enough good things!

We recently spent a few days in the Rocky mountain cabin at forest ridge and it was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was very nice from the staff/owners to other campers. It was also pet friendly so we got to bring our pup which is always a bonus for me. My favorite part was being able to watch the horses from our cabin. We will definitely be returning.

My husband and I just spent a wonderful, relaxing, and peaceful weekend in the Allegheny Cabin. It was super clean and perfect! The hot tub was amazing. I love how up front the owners were about the rules, what you need to bring, etc. Brian checked us in. He was very friendly and helpful. I highly reccommend Forest Ridge if you are looking for peace, quiet, and relaxation.

Very well maintained campground. We stayed in the Allegheny cabin with a nice hot tub. The pool was heated and clean. Cute outdoor arcade and playground for kids, with ping pong, air hockey, and a mini basketball game. Also a basketball court and volleyball pit with balls. Quiet and scenic.

My wife and I loved staying here. The owners are the friendliest, most helpful people, and it truly is a family atmosphere. The bathrooms are immaculate, the pool is amazing and well kept, and each site is comfortable and clean. It really is a quiet slice of heaven if you want to get away. We will for sure be going back, and hope to bring some friends along!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Very quiet and beautiful scenery in February. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a few enjoyable days. The owners were so sweet and friendly. They were extremely helpful, gave great details for our stay, and they were easy to deal with while booking. The hottubs were maintained daily and they maintained the parking spots daily so we wouldn't get stuck in the snow. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely love it here. My husband would choose a different camp in the area to stay at each spring for my birthday and for some trout fishing. The year he chose Forest Ridge was by far the best. Beautiful, peaceful location. Cozy, warm, clean, and very well maintained cabin. Enjoyed the relaxation and privacy of our hot tub. The owners are a very sweet couple, who sincerely strive to make you feel welcome and at home.<br/>It's no surprise that my husband chose to propose to me in the Adirondack cabin! l will always have a very special place in my heart for Forest Ridge! (We went on to purchase our own cabin nearby in the area, but hope to get back there soon!)

Very nice campground. Close to Marienville, yet you get a secluded feeling being surrounded by trees. Just about all the amenities you need, clean showers and restrooms, playground, pool and more. No issues navigating and settling in, with the mh and toad, to a nice wide and level site. A great place to get off the road for a couple days, as in our case, but would also be a very nice destination. Thanks for everything Jon and Brian!

This is a beautiful, well maintained, secluded campground. I definitely want to visit again. I don't have young kids but I think it's made for a great family stay and very dog friendly (unless you bird dogs see the free range chickens LOL).

Wonderful campground! Perfect place to get away and relax. Camp hosts are extremely friendly and run a great place! Sites are immaculate, shower houses are very clean and well stocked, and it's quiet enough to relax. They have an outdoor play area for children with a lot of toys and a big grassy area for the children to play. Definitely a perfect place to stay when you want to get away from the hustle of everyday life!

Stayed in the Adirondack cabin and it was absolutely amazing! By far the cleanest and coziest cabin I've ever been in! The private hot tub was great! The owners are great and sooooooo sweet! We just spent our 5 year anniversary here and will continue to make it a twice a year tradition, once in the tent with our two boys and once in the cabin for our anniversary! Highly recommended and nothing bad to say about this place!!!!!

Once a year, my rather large family gather from all corners of the state for a weekend camping trip. This year we decided to try out Forrest Ridge Campground. We couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The owners were incredibly accommodating and friendly. To start off, my wife and I got in very late (around 12:30 AM) from Philadelphia. We had let the owners know in advance that we were going to be very late, and they still stayed up to get us checked in. The cabins were absolutely immaculate, and very cozy. Each of our cabins also had a personal hot tub, which were all very well maintained. The grounds were also VERY well maintained and pristine. There was no shortage of things to do for our nieces and nephews (age ranges 2-12). This was particularly great, because the adults and kids could all have a great time. The pool kept everyone preoccupied for a good while, and there are a ton of games in the pavilion area for both kids and adults. We also took advantage of some fishing and light hiking at Buzzard Swamp (don’t let the name fool you). Our only complaint was that the weekend went by too fast. Everyone had a great time, and chalked it up as a success. We will likely be visiting again. It’s a great set up for families, and very kid friendly. I could also see this as a weekend getaway for couples to enjoy some R&R. I’d highly recommend giving Forrest Ridge Campground a chance.

This was the best camp ground I could hope for. It's a little out of the way of all the fun, but it's a hidden gem.The owners treat you like family and are so nice. The campgrounds are nice but a little too close together for my taste. We were able to see a deer and her babies right behind our tent.I really felt close to nature there. Their ice cream is also really good and the cheapest you will find anywhere. The showers were very clean and offered a lot of privacy. #64 is the best spot to camp!

Forest Ridge is a very quiet and peaceful campground. The swimming pool is nicely sized and in the morning you will hear a number of birds serenading you to a new day. My party and I were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend it to people seeking serenity.
