They harass customers.Every time I stop in here the one lady follows me around. She's not being courteous or anything. Just stalking me like I'm doing something wrong.I avoid shopping here because of the unfriendly staff. If you're an older guy, they're probably really nice. But if you're under 35 and don't look like a contractor, get ready to be profiled by the psycho manager lady.

this place is honestly a huge joke and has been since day one LMAO not a soul in SIGHT to help at all, EVER mind you!!! and the ones that you hunt down don’t know what they’re talking about. funny how when it’s time to close up that’s when the entire staff magically appears to ask if you’re okay, absolute JOKE, and get some people in there that actually enjoy their job and have a positive attitude🤣🤣unfortunately ace is close and convenient, hence why i had to visit today. also took multiple visits and returns/exchanges (because no one wants to do their job and help!) and in the end, we got nothing but our money back!! 🤣 one more time, they’re a JOKE!!! thank you for listening to my rant :)

Just down the road from New Hope Ministries Littlestown location, the Ace store is handy repair job materials. Clean & bright inside with helpful staff.

They have a decent selection of tools. Reasonable prices, but it was all high school kids. They don't know anything. You ask them basic questions. They don't know the answer. Woke ask anyone or pick up a phone. You go to check out and they are busy chatting with the friend who stopped by. 3 teens, worst service ever.

Great place to work! Ace was my first job & I've learned A LOT. Flexible, & easy evening shifts for when you are in school. I started out as a cashier, and then got promoted to " floor " or a " Sales associate " my co-workers quickly became family & people I looked up to. I love my job & all the opportunities & learning experiences i've had along the way. I have worked there for a little over 2 years now & can still say "i love my job"

I like certain things that they have, but they are definitely overpriced on a lot of stuff, but you can still find your good deal here and there. I'm upset I bought the kobalt shovel from Lowe's instead of the john Deere from here. Just something about it 😂

Needed to add this to my review. I was in a pinch again this evening and needed a part asap I was working on my main drain line and realized I had the wrong fitting so I called ace hardware and Gideon was amazing with checking stock and quickly replying that he had one and would hold it for me and he did. I wouldn’t have been able to shower this evening if it wasn’t for him lolI enjoy coming here everyone is always so friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint would be the prices are a little higher than a typical hardware store but when I’m in a pinch and need something quick and don’t feel like driving to Hanover to go to Home Depot or lowes I choose ace.

Been here a few times since I moved into the area. Every trip into the store, the employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They know exactly where everything is and offer to show you where the item you are looking for is located. No need to wander aimlessly around the store. This last trip, I purchased a big box item that I needed help with. The associate was pleasant and came across as very happy to assist me and didn't act like I was a bother like you get in most big box retailers. You may pay a couple dollars more for something, but I'll do that to get the customer service I always get at the Littlestown Ace.

The only hardware store within easy driving distance. So this is our go-to store . Most of their items are more expensive than the big boxstores, but for convenience I don't mind.If they do not have an item in stock, they can order it for you.Clean store, helpful employees.Their garden center outside has a large variety of market packs and other plants available.The only con I would say are their useless coupons. If you are a "rewards member" you are sent coupons in the mail for 5.00 and sometimes 10.00 off a purchase of a set amount. But the exclusions that apply almost always makes them useless. Does not apply to anything on sale??!!. And a lot of brands also are excluded.

This place has very helpful staff. I came in with a part having no idea what I needed they sized it up and found the correct items I needed to purchase. Had to lock my while up in the reserved parking, let them know and they didn't mind.

I went in to get a dog liscense and was immediately greeted by an above average worker. Great customer service is becoming rarer in businesses these days. I had a lot of questions and found the young man who greeted me extremely knowledgeable friendly and although I did not get his name I was Thankful for his help! Would definitely recommend Ace Hardware of littlestown.

Purchase a 32 ft extension ladder and called the head three days earlier than pick up with a quoted price from the store. Went to pick up the ladder and they increase the price by $20, wish I would not accept. Had to get the store manager who reluctantly agreed to the lower price. Received Good help from the store loading the ladder onto my pickup truck. But to my dismay female worker told me while tying down the ladder that they were expecting a delivery. So I move my truck without having a ladder fully tied down. The delivery never came, while I tied my ladder off to my pickup truck. Seems the woman was deceptive because the delivery did not come when she said it would. And, they wouldn't extend the courtesy to allow me 5 minutes to tie down my ladder. Other than mixed help, some good, some not so good, it is a nice store. To get to five stars they have to be responsive to customers and honor their commitments without reservation.

Every time I have been there the staff has been extremely helpful. When a manufacture would not honor their online price for a snowblower attachment the people here decided to honor that price. I would recommend them without ant reservations. They define customer service. I rarely give anything 5 stars. They deserve at least 4.5.

The sales people are always helpful and can help you find things. I bought an item here several months ago and liked it so much that I wanted one for my dad. The item was no longer in the same place and the lady found it right away. The item was in the clearance section and I bought the last one.

I hope someone reads this. I have been a customer of Littlestown Ace for 10 years. I am always impressed with how courteous and helpful the floor people are, as well as the phone personnel. However, when you get to cashiers, they undo all the goodwill that floor and phone personnel have done. In all the years, I have never had a courteous cashier. Why is that? Are they all temps? Sometimes they say nothing, just stare at you and ask for ID which baffles me since I have an Ace card. Other times, they are just plain rude. Maybe they need training? Plenty of times, I have left store frustrated because of cashiers but this time, i am reporting it in the hopes someone will read it. If the cashier who waited on me today worked for me, i would fire her immediately.

Everyone was so nice and helpful! When I couldn't find the drill I wanted, Danni checked the computer for the item and went and searched it out for me. When the accessories I wanted weren't there, she checked on those as well. I was also shocked at the selection of everything in general. The drill was a few dollars more than online, but I got it immediately and supported local business! I will definitely be a repeat shopper.

I felt like the cashier was racial profiling bc i was in there with a black man and our total was less then five dollars but as soon as my friend gave her the money she checked to see if it was counterfeit. I was never so shocked and embarrassed in my life!!!!! We are all the same color on the inside so it shouldn't matter what color our skin is on the outside we all deserve the same respect!!!!!! I will never be shopping here again!!!!

I love this store. It is like a candy store for old men. Tey have everything. he staff is very helpful and, on several occasions have shown me that I did not need what I thought i did and showed me what I did need. They were motivated to sell me the right tool for my job. Now, I ask you, where do you find customer service like that in 2019?

Picking up an online order? Head to the center-isle station to claim your stuff. Staff is friendly, but overwhelmed. Better signage and available employees would be welcome. Parking lot design isn't horrible. Drive to the right-rear for propane refilling after paying. Don't bring your empty canister inside.
