Really enjoyed our stay. The reservoir was far more beautiful than we had expected. We rented paddleboards one day and kayaks another and enjoyed every second out on the water. Some sites have a great view of the water. The only thing we really didn't like about the campground was the location of the dump station.

One of the cleanest and nicest campgrounds you can find. Great fishing.

We were not overly impressed with this campground. The sites were very close together and felt kind of run down. It rained while we were there and our site and the ones around us flooded and turned into a huge mud pit making getting around without slipping difficult. The shower I used had a broken shower head and was about chest high (i'm only 5'2") and it twisted around on the wall once the water came on and made quite a mess spraying into the next stall over because of the pressure. (Hot water & good pressure were nice, but the setup of the showers and broken shower head holder left much to be desired.)On our second night, we lost power around 3pm from a storm. They locked up the bathrooms so they couldn't be used and told us we had to drive over to the beach area bathrooms (not a walkable distance, so we had to jump in the truck to go) and these bathrooms were DISGUSTING. Broken sinks, feces on the toilets, the water would only come out the sink if you held it on, so it made washing difficult. In addition to that, it was pitch black and had 0 safety lights, so to use the facilities, you had to try and prop up a flashlight. The campground also did not have any emergency/safety lights anywhere, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable and unsafe when it was later at night.Overall, we were pretty disappointed with our stay and do not plan to return to this campground.

Pymatumin is a wonderful lake to visit. If you like outdoor recreation this place is phenomenal. The only negative thing I've noticed, first hand, are the beaches. The sand in the water has gravel. Tough on the feet but not too bad. Water shoes would help. All in all a great place for you and the kids.

Last stop on our way up North. This park is on the largest lake in Pa and it was highly populated by boaters. This was a large sprawling park and I thought we were in a different section of it, but it was closed yet. We went hiking, driving back to Ohio, only a ten minute drive, and the path was very mucky.

Sites are really nice. Fairly level. We have a site on the outside. The lake is close but we can't see it very well because of the trees. I'll take the trees and walk to the beach. Staff is very friendly. Quiet hours start at 9pm. The bathrooms are bit dated and could use some updates. This maybe in the project plan for this park. The lake has a horsepower limit, probably 10. I will be coming back. It's only 1.25 hours from home. The lake is beautiful and you can rent a boat by the hour or for the full day.

Nice camping sites. Close proximity to boat rentals and basic camping needs. Friendly staff. The on site facilities were clean though some of the other state park managed ones were a bit rough. Most all of the people staying in the Linesville camp are were friendly and unintrusive. There is a small beach area where you can launch unpowered boats if you desire.

Pymatuning State Park-Linesville. This place is a hidden gem. Plenty of things to do. Marina store for boat rentals, bait, ice, etc. Fishing, Beach, Cabins, Large pavilion to rent, Volleyball, Walking, Biking, all very nice. Facilities in the campground are adequate. Rangers patrol regularly. Clean and quiet. If you are looking to camp don't miss this one.

As a state campground goes this is a really nice place. Access to fishing, a beach, boating, and more.Restrooms: For state campgrounds they are clean and reasonable.Dog-friendliness: Keep you dog on a leash and quite and all is good.

Shame on them for the preparedness in which lights go out in the bathroom facility! The Cleanliness and Comfort of The Campground needs TLC. Wouldn't recommend

This is a nice, wooded campground that is quiet and tucked away in the woods for the most part.

Love the campground. Sites in our circle were well spaced. As others have stated, bathrooms are dated. We have camped in state parks over 40 years without an issue. This time although we were quietly talking around the campfire, we were told it’s quiet time. Just be aware that the curfew is strictly enforced by the camp host and overnight park ranger. All other staff were wonderful, bat talk Friday night very informative.

Small, quite, but nice camp ground. We chose this one because the others were booked but we are glad we did. The other parts of the state park are 20 minutes away. Have us something to do. We experienced hiking in one part, and Halloween party in another. Overall great time

We had a large site that gave us reasonably good privacy from those around us. It was level and access to the hookups was close and easy. The facilities were kept clean and the park was quite nice. Part of what made it even a little nicer is that it's quite small.

The campsites are stacked on top of each other, so if you're looking to get away from your rowdy neighbors, you'll need to look elsewhere. We had the fun experience of listening to a drunk couple calling each other nasty names not more than 10 feet away at 3 am. There was a camp host who made a show of enforcing rules (he chided someone for letting their dog run off the leash, but didn't actually stop them, and stopped me to check if my small child was using the right restroom), but apparently stepping in to stop drunken fights is too much to ask. The place seems mostly for rv campers looking for fishing, which is fine, except many left left overs from their catch on the swimming beach and around camp. The lake was beautiful, but frankly, there are better campgrounds.

Relaxing atmosphere, very clean restroom & shower facility, helpful & Friendly camp host! Wish the drainage was better though, when it rains you have a lot of standing water on/around your campsite. Beautiful view of the lake from most campsites.

ATTENTION: Families with dogs....This was our first time staying at Linesville State Park. Although the weather was beautiful and our site, small for our camper, we fit just fine, plus it was facing Pymatuning lake so we saw wonderful sunsets. Unfortunately we will Not be returning. They have a 2 dog per site rule(I have 3 dogs) (mine are small but not the point) when making reservations I informed them of this and nothing was said. But upon arrival we were treated Very rudely! About having more than 2 dogs and were told we would have to keep 1 in the camper at all times...I can not do that, we camp to enjoy nature and be outside. have never had a problem with other state parks, Or private campgrounds when I have told them in advance of my 3 dogs. Because of how we were spoken to we will Not be returning.

This campground has been awesome both times we were there. Has a swimming area, nice bath houses, disc golf is nearby, and our site was in a good spot. In fact I came back a year later with a group of friends and stayed at the same site. The place where the ducks walk on the fish is nearby and should at least be checked out.

The campground is quite nice...clean...set up nicely, BUT, the lake shore was pretty awful smelling. Apparently the fish had gotten some virus and there was dead fish smell as soon as you walked close to the lake. I was so glad our campsite wasn't one very close to the shore. Poor signage to the lake's attractions. Disappointing trip.

Real Nice Campground. Quiet and the site's are not to close to each other. They are gravel site's and not are all level. All sits have just electric. No water or Septic but there is a dump station and fresh water station's. Sites are well maintained and have a picnic table and fire ring with grate to cook on. Showers and restrooms are keep clean. If you are a fishermen this place is a great campground to spend the weekend! There is a boat launch just outside the entrance to the Campgrounds. We camped here with a travel trailer and there is plenty of room for the biggest Rv to park. I will come back again!

As an avid camper, I will not return here. Camped with a group of adults for a weekend. The bathrooms were unclean and the toilets were often clogged. Rangers constantly came by, not to reprimand us for doing anything wrong but just to “remind” us about when quiet hours were. I have never been so harassed while camping. I will not come back to this campground.

Very very close neighbors, so much so the neighbors to the right, their dog went to the bathroom beside our chairs under our awning and the neighbors kids to our left ran through our campsite! Not enjoyable! The restrooms were clean. Nice area in general.

We had a full hookup this trip. Very glad we did even though it was a little more for the camp site .
