My 8-year-old adopted a dolly from the thrift store, she absolutely fell in love with her she is a vintage doll and one of a kind when we got home we noticed her hair had fell off. We walked over to Kohl’s to get some help and a gentleman by the name of Bob took her on the operating table lol and fixed her all up for us was such a great guy

I ran into Coles with a minor emergency and needed a quick, solid fix. The employees were so helpful. I brought my broken bookshelf piece in and they brought it into the back shop, used their own wood glue to fix it, and I all I had to purchase was two screws. They were very helpful and knowledgeable.

They have a smaller store then the one in Mifflinburg where I usually go, but still have most of the things I needed, the only thing I didn't like was there bad choice of music! 🙉

If you need material or tools for a job. It's a great place for a quick stop to get them especially if you are working in the town of Lewisburg. Reputable hardware store that's been around this area for years with multiple locations. Keep up the good work. Great employees too. Customer service is A plus here. AWESOMENESS.

Placed a phone order for pellets needed to heat my house. Paid for them on my account and scheduled a pick up time and was told they would be marked and held for me till then. After driving an hour round trip to pick up, was told they sold my pellets to someone else the day before. They refunded my account the day they sold them to someone else and never even bothered notifying me that my pellets were not there anymore. Devon the manager was rude, offered no reasonable explanation for what happened and offered no solution to the problem.

I’ve been using Cole’s ever since it took over the Weis Market building 40 years ago. I thought the Walmart’s superstore would put it out of business, but the managers very cleverly avoided competing by carrying goods and brands that Walmart doesn’t carry along with excellent basics at reasonable prices.Many of my friends buy there for the same reason I do: I prefer to shop locally and not with an out-of-state company that does so much trade with America’s major economic competitor, ChinaAnyway, I find Cole’s carries not only the basic auto care products and tools, gardening supplies, but the new products advertised on TV, like the Flexseal line. Today I bought led light bulbs, birdseed from a wide selection, and wood glue from a wide assortment of adhesives including Gorilla Glue and Flexseal.The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They can tell you how to use everything they sell. They also repaired everything that I have purchased over the past 40 years that has broken.Cole’s a little economic miracle sitting right in the middle of Lewisburg. It had survived by means of very shrewd management.

You don't need to go to the big box hardware stores when you have a store like Coles Hardware in town. Sure they don't have the quantity of items the big box stores do, but they have 99% of what most people need from a home improvement store. On a recent visit I only needed some screws, but walking through the store I found a few items that I had on my wishlist and kept forgetting from the big box store. But those items were easier to find in this Coles Hardware. Thank you. I'll be back!

I love this store. As a female citizen I am not really familiar with a lot of hardware items and there is always a courteous person to help me. I also love all the products for dogs.

Coles, in reality, is not the quaint local hardware store from yesteryear as it projects. The front of the house in the Lewisburg location is rude - one clerk in particular. I have now substantiated this fact through multiple transactions. The "new" credit card system is dysfunctional. Today, the clerk proceeded to lecture me about using a completely funded, authorized gift card. She then "shushed" me when I attempted to explain an aspect of the transaction. She had the audacity to get on her headset and claim to some anonymous recipient that I was "talking over" her. Just unnecessary and rude. The only saving grace for Coles is Ben Moore paint. However, at least at this location, the consistency is sketchy. Coles price gouges COVID PPE. I will go to other local lumber yards or box stores to avoid Coles. It's a shame because I am local; spend significant amounts on home improvements for various properties; and I would rather support at least a smaller chain hardware store. Without at least civil customer interaction, what's the point? I would rather check-out via computer. It's a shame to write this because most of my adult life was frequenting Coles in Danville, but it is what it is.

They always have what I need and at a very good price. It beats driving to the big stores where nobody helps you. It's nice to go in there to Cole's and have somebody guide you in the right direction and help you with the project.

Generally speaking, if Cole's doesn't have it you probably don't need it. Best local hardware store by a mile. Sometimes though part time help aren't as knowledgeable as you'd like them to be.

I noticed this week that coles now has alot of items regularly priced lower than Lowes.. ex. 40 gallon hot water heater at Lowes clearance $434, comparable model at Coles Regular price$399.. propane soldering kit lowes $17.99 , Coles $16.99. 👍👍 for Coles..
