This is an amazing pet shop with a huge variety of toys, treats, and equipment for your animals. They have a fun bird room, beautiful cats that roam, and a nice dog, Luna, who hangs out near the door. I would highly recommend stopping over to see their inventory.

Love this place! Family owned and run, very friendly.When you first walk in, you will be greeted by the family dog, and then you will see free-roaming kittens that they have rescued, socialized, and are for adoption.They treat our birds like family while we are away, and they love being there.They carry a wide variety of all-natural and good-quality cat and dog food and treats, along with goat's milk too.

I have birds. Our usual bird boarder suddenly closed after I confirmed I was bringing them so we could go on vacation. Thank goodness our vet knew of Blue Dog. We called and got a spot with NO notice at all as we were leaving the next day. It was better than perfect. Wonderful people to deal with. Very affordable. Extremely professional. Followed the instructions to a T. Two customers asked if they were available while we were away, LOL. They are back even as I write this for the second time and will be back there again in January. They have quite a selection of all things pets and can usually get what they don't have in stock. Including the obscure food for our birds, as they are just a little uncommon.

We went there to look for a kitten. They had several. They all looked to be in good condition. They also have a dog that belongs to the shop (Luna). Luna was so friendly. It was a really nice business. Will definitely go again.

Small, family-owned business that truly cares about your pets. I have been shopping at Blue Dog for at least 5 years and will continue to do so. If they don't happen to have in stock what I'm looking for, they will order it and hold it for me. Great selection and service.

They made my skittish cat feel very welcomed amd calm. They clipped her nails without any issues. The ownership will treat your pet like family. My wife and I are definitely going back. They also have plenty of items for all your pet needs! Thanks again!

My daughter and I visit this little mom & pop pet store quite often. I love that they rescue along with have birds on consignment to find loving homes for them. You can interact with the birds to get an idea of their demeanor. The owners are wonderful and very conversational with you. You're treated like friends. My daughter loves to pet and visit with their husky that hangs out at the store during open hours along with their beautiful felines.

My favorite place! They are friendly family based business who is helpful, informative about there products,if they don't know will find out for you. Some items are pricey but quality is good. Lots of new unique items. Pets and birds 🐦 for sale and sometimes other nice animals. See for yourself.

Very nice pet shop. Was greeted by some friendly kittens who were being adopted. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. Got to see some beautiful cockatoos and parrots. Everything you need for your pet is there.

Very cute pet store. The owner was so nice! There are cats and a husky that roam free in the store, many of the cats are adoptable and they're all adorable. Prices seem on par with the other area stores and they carry the Fromm cat food I'm looking for.

The store posts birds as being "for adoption" when they are actually selling retail and/or on consignment at high prices. Worse, they have large parrots of various types in cages far too small, where they can't even stretch their wings without hitting the bars, much less move about. Customers need to insist these poor birds' housing be improved, and if proper enclosures cannot be provided, Blue Dog should not be carrying large birds at all. The store should also stop representing itself as some kind of bird rescue - they are NOT.

It's a small shop but I am able to get my dogs food there. They will order ahead of time for you. Limited inventory but they sell grain free dog food and without preservatives. Sells birds and has cats and kittens for adoption through a rescue group. Closed Sunday.

Great shop! Our little Kiera, who was adopted through Castaway Critters out of the Blue Dog Pet Shop, will only eat the Verus line of cat food (that Blue Dog carries).
