Nice alittle diner in the middle of no where really. I liked the atmosphere. Ice cream was good, anything that was chicken/fries it was good the hours are nice 9am to 12 midnight. I didnt like my hamburger it had seemed to have a old freezer kinda taste, and the service seemed alittle crazy and seemed stressed out like I was inconveniencing them when ordering food. They forgot the bacon and cheese on the bacon cheeseburger, and the lettuce was brown. They where out of hoagie buns and bananas at the time and must have just been a bad day. I will have to try it again someday.

Where to start with this experience, first off breakfast ends at 11 they don’t open till 11?? Makes no sense, we had to order at the counter, 4 out of 5 of the meals were wrong, I asked for melted cheddar they microwaved it in a styrofoam cup? The 10$ fish sandwich my wife ordered had nothing on it but a gross piece of fish and a bun. I have no idea how on earth this place is still running, they have to have really good ice cream because their prices and food and service was awful. Save your money go get gas station good right next door

By far the WORST experience I've had in 20 years and I place it ALL on management. If I could give 0 stars I would. 3 teenagers working, 2 adults in the kitchen. Floor was littered with leaves, fries, other food and paper wrappers from straws. Tables were dirty and plates from previous customers were left with no sense of urgency to cleanup. LONG wait for food to be brought out 1 plate at a time with nearly 5 minutes between plates. Turkey melt sandwich, ordered without tomato, came with tomato on it. Fish sandwich came with a black curly hair on it. And cheese for the fries came in a plastic cup with mold on top! The thing that really got me was watching one of the teenage girls, long dark hair with ripped jeans, eating ice cream behind the counter as if there was no other work to be done. Again, I put this on POOR MANAGEMENT. Long story short, after 1 hour we couldn't wait for 2 more fish sandwiches to come out. We approached the male teenager and asked for management. An adult female came out and asked what we wanted her to do. We asked that our money be refunded. Reluctantly she did so and we left. For the record, this was at 2:30 PM and maybe 7 other people in the restaurant. $84 for 5 people.WAY overpriced for the food we ordered. We will NEVER be back. VERY disappointed.

$5.50 for a reassess cup avalanche that use to be big now it's only the size of hand, place has gone downhill and yet their prices keep going up. I think everything in this area and marienville has gone down hill thank God I moved to West Virginia

Patty melt was yummy. I like my fries crispy so they could've cooked longer, but they were delish with salt n pepper on them. The sawmill burger was so yummy!!Came back later for ice cream too! Highly recommend the s'mores sundae!!When we came in a few men, in a booth, were giving the guy a hard time about their orders and just being nasty, it was literally one guy and one girl running the whole place, breakfast had just ended and they were doing the best they could. They had been so busy that morning they were running out of things and had to run to the market next door just to get by---give them a break they were doing fine.We made sure to be extra kind.Would come back again when here! Thanks you!Kid-friendliness: Chicken tenders are delicious!

This is a small dinner just outside of Cook Forest. My wife and I have stopped here a few times for lunch when we're in the area. I've found them to have fantastic burgers and french fries. It's a nice little restaurant with a friendly staff. Definitely a go to spot when we're visiting Cook Forest.

As Covid has hit many places for help needed, I sat and waited patiently for my food, it was the steak sub and it was delicious, my grand daughter had a cheese burger with fries, it came out from the kitchen in reasonable time considering they were working hard with the orders coming in, we had ice cream cones for the desert, our favorite but they have many different ice cream shakes, And the Different flavor Sundays, but we like the soft serve ice cream cones, waffle bowls, waffle cones. I enjoyed our stop and look forward to going back on our way threw to Erie every time. Nice service and they took our order were pleasant although short staffed and had a small wait time, I recommend stopping and trying the food and the ice cream and pleasant service.

I do not know where to begin... We arrived at 7:20 and walked in because the sign said they were open until 9:00 (first clue, we were the only ones there!). We were met with the introduction that they stopped serving food at 7:30. Incredulously, we asked for any recommendations to eat and were given some, but the staff stated they were not likely open. With that news, we went to the car and asked Google. The same person ran to the car and told us the manager said they were indeed serving until 8:30. We had very little choice so we went in and ordered. Two of us ordered the fried chicken dinner, even after asking if the chicken was white or dark. The answer was dumbfounding - I don't know. When it arrived, we expected what was described on the menu as a 4 piece chicken dinner with a choice of a side. We each got 2 pieces of chicken with mashed potatoes and beef gravy. The food was typical road side diner and nothing special. Simply based on the guest treatment and staff attitude (along with the misrepresentation of the menu), I cannot see myself ever going back or even recommending this eatery to ANYONE. Stay away unless you enjoy such treatment when dining.

The food has gone downhill. Twice now I have found hair in my food. I ended up getting a refund both times instead of having the food returned and new made. Use to love going here, especially in the summer for ice cream. As of right now, I will NOT be going back.
