We were able to return to Sportsman's Paradise today after about a year. Still a 5 star meal! It is a bar atmosphere, laid back, casual and rather dark inside, and the food is awesome! We shared the clam strips appetizer, small but yummy. For our meals my husband always gets their wings, they are called whole wings (honey mustard sauce this time), and I got the fish sandwich (more whale size). A must stop restaurant.

Love eating here when we are in the area. Fantastic wings!! I do mean Fantastic...a must try. In fact, besides burgers I can't tell you about any other food besides it looks good. Just can't stray from those wings!! I can tell you that you will not be disappointed with the wings and burgers though. We stick the the restaurant side and it is a nice country atmosphere with friendly staff. Give it a shot....get the wings!! 😁Update 5/3/24. Stopped in for more wings...still delicious!!!! Tried clam strips and the fish sandwich too...both great!!! Still a must stop of you are in the area...don't miss out!!

I'm glad we stopped! Our server was very friendly and attentive. Had the broiled haddock dinner(note- broiled fish is not on the menu but you can get it instead of fried, just ask your server ) and the beer battered fish sandwich, both were very good and nice size portions. Dessert was homemade, peanut butter pie and blueberry pie..delish! Very reasonable price tag too! We will be back!Kid-friendliness: 2 words- chicken tenders

The Liver and onions are so good! that's the best I know that is around!!Plenty of onions and that's what I love! Have to have plenty of onions with your liver, and I've been to places where they chop the onions up in little pieces!No good that way!Kid-friendliness: Besides the bar side they do have a dining side for family!

A blink and you will miss it restaurant, my advice is don't blink. It was a delight to eat here and the food was great. They had the biggest burger that I have ever had.

Been here twice now in the last few weeks and definitely plan to return. Wings are freaking huge and really good. Staff is kind, steak sub was good. No complaints at all.Update: took my 11 year old son in instead of adult friends. Staff was still awesome. They were really busy on a Friday night and we still got our food in a fair amount of time. That is impressive with how busy they were.I love this place.

I’m from the area but moved away years ago. Had their wings, pizza logs and an Italian hoagie on a recent trip. The full crispy wings are how wings are meant to be. Food was great, staff was patient and kind. The order was perfect the first attempt. I will be back any chance I get.

Been so disappointed by the dinners and restaurants in the area. This one was pleasantly very good. The food was good and the waitress Karlie was fantastic. I like that the bar and dinner are split. Both of us had the beer batter cod, fried shrimp, Baked Potatoes and green beans with salad and the other coleslaw. Very good. Large portions and dinner roll on the side. Dinner was low $40 but fed us and a toddler. New owners recently and I had never been inside before but it is clean and bathrooms pretty new. Very friendly Staff with prompt service. Food is so much better then last owners. Highly recommend a try. We will be back.

My wife and I have eaten numerous times. Food was always great! Exactly what we ordered and hot! Sometimes we had to wait for our food but it was also during the post pandemic. Maybe waited 15 minutes. No big deal to wait for such excellent food!!! Cold beer, hot food, great waitresses! The owners are good people too!!!!!!

Probably a half dozen restaurants close to the camp we were at. So we figured we'd give it a try. Had a great turkey, ham and bacon club sandwich with very tasteless fries needed lots of salt and ketchup. I also had a cup of homemade beef vegetable soup, the soup was good, but it was made with ground beef, I've never had it this way, I think beef pieces would've been better. Hubby had the roast beef dinner, baked potato with all the fixins', green beans and a soup or salad. He said it was tasty, but could've been warmer. The portion sizes were generous. The menu had a good variety to choose from. We definitely recommend this place.

Service was great. The patrons were exactly what I expected for the type of bar/restaurant. The food quality and price was where it was confusing. The food was better than bar food, yet it was not as good as other "traditional style" restaurant in the area. The problem was the prices compared with the traditional restaurants as opposed to a bar setting.

Nice place right on 66. Had the beef vegetable soup and it was really good. Also had the chicken Parm and Reuben. Good portions and very tasty. Had some good beers on draft, tried a local stout on draft,😋the service was great, highly recommend.

Awesome food!! We make sure to stop here every-time we come into town. The food just takes forever to get and sometimes service is not the best
