I've waited 3 years to buy a new Kayak and finally did so today. I've been told great things about The Rivers Edge, so today I went to see if everything was true. I met directly with the owners today and they are awesome. Both took their time showing me the 3 Kayaks I was interested in and answering all of my questions. I bought the Kayak and some accessories and could not be happier. I highly recommend them if you need anything Kayak related. Thank you very much guys appreciate you both very much.

We rented a canoe here last weekend, and had a wonderful time. Owners and employees were kind, canoe was comfortable with padded seats, and the views were beautiful. We want to squeeze in another trip before end of summer. Highly recommend.Edit: visited for the second time. Beautiful views, as evidenced in photos. Great, peaceful experience.

Great buying experience from here. I contacted them check on availability of some Hobie Mirage kayak's, and they got right back to me. I went in the shop the next day and took a look at them. The one I really wanted was still in the warehouse so they took me over there, we unwrapped it and I decided to take the next up version home. They were super knowledgeable about not only the kayak's, but even the area and kayaking + fishing. Gave me tons of information and were super helpful. I found my tackle storage that is supposed to come with the Hobie Pro Anglers to be missing and they are already reaching out to Hobie (we saw that when we unwrapped it too, but weren't 100% sure if it was actually included or not).

After seeing so many great reviews we decided to call Rivers Edge to see if there was availability for that day to have our kayaks shuttled and also rent one. Neil and Evelyn couldnt have been more accommodating! They were so friendly and helpful! We had an amazing time…the day was beautiful…and we will 100% be back!

Just bought my first kayak and I am very pleased I went to the rivers edge! Was referred by a friend. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Don’t be fooled by the street view because they have a great selection especially during the covid fallout. Most new kayaks I’ve seen in one place in 18 months and I didn’t even see all of them. River’s Edge is awesome. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We’ve only ever rented tubes but it’s always a great time.One of the best things to do in the summer in western PA.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! From the first phone call to picking up my 2022 Hobie Pro Angler 14 a week later, the River's Edge was a model excellent customer service. I would give them 6 Stars if possible !!!A Great Deal (20% off) on my first kayak was a great bonus too !!! Highly recommend checking them out "in season" -- live bait, 412 and Kiski lures in stock as well.

Great place to Kayak! For those with bad backs, would be great to have option to pay to have canoe taking back up steep embankment upon exiting the river.

They do not do shuttles anymore if you have your own rafts but, still helped us out because we didn't know. They went above and beyond to make sure our day wasn't ruined. They have always been friendly and accommodating.

Went rafting on 7/5/20. 93 degrees and the river was low. Even though it was low, it was limited walking rapids (actually, it was kinda fun walking a bit) Really enjoyed the raft and the "cooler raft". The staff was really great. Very helpful with all our needs. Explained things thoroughly and really nice folks there! I will be back!!

Awesome day on the river! Owners are friendly and helpful, process for shuttle and drop-off is smooth. The Kiski is beautiful (slow, yes, but lovely). We tubed and swam and played. With several stops for snacks, swimming and birdwatching the tube trip from Vandegrift back to our car was just over 3.5 hours.Lot's of little helpful thoughtful details, for instance, there is a small changing booth for after the river so you don't have to change in the car. They also have sell odds and ends you might have forgotten (and the prices are not unreasonable). Nice selection of kayaks and accessories. It was our first trip with Rivers Edge, but it won't be our last!

Our group a great time our group had canoeing on Memorial Day on the Kiski River at River's Edge. The weather was gorgeous too. We did find that nice stopping point just past the blue-green bridge, and we enjoyed our bagged lunch in the little park pavilion there. The whole trip was very nice, and everybody said they enjoyed themselves immensely. I thought you might like to know.

Fantastic place for a family tubing trip!!! We had age ranges from 3 yrs to 12 yrs...and the kiddos had a blast!! Would recommend this trip on a hot dog day of summer ! We actually took a picnic lunch and made our trip a bit longer goofing off after lunch

1st time canoeing at rivers edge and we had an amazing day! The water was low and I had to pull my husband and son a few times.. haha.. but it made it fun.. we stopped and swam a few times, pulled over for Dairy Queen, and even met a few new friends along the river.Wonderful owners and driver(Rich)Can’t wait to go back!!!!!!

Easy to contact and nice service making the reservation. Clean and current vehicles to transport you to the drop off. Kayak and canoe were newer and in very good condition. We did the short float and it was very calm, water was low and very few obstacles to watch for. All around nice relaxing family day.

Great little place. Very friendly owners. As a matter of fact, one person in my group left a pair of sunglasses glasses in her kayak. The guy waved us down on the road to give them back!Awesome place. Would definitely come here again!

The owners here are great people to buy from. They have good prices, expertise, and great attitudes. I was quite impressed with the selection of paddling gear they had in stock. Do yourself a favor and buy some good gear from local people. Skip the big box stores.

Me and my wife bought two kayaks here a month ago my wife got a hobie compass she loves it and I got a bonafide ss127 me not so much the Bonafide ss127 tracks terrible feels like I’m cramped in it and it’s not made for shallow rocky rivers I think Bonafide mislead people on the Bonafide ss127 the best thing I like about it is the seat staff was very helpful I just feel like I made a $1800 mistake

I arrived at the rivers edge today and demoed a the new coosa hd. It was nice. Really, really nice. Only problem was we (the family ) can't deside on a single color choice . So I guess we will be buying 4 boats.also I want to thank the nice gentle men that I meet at the Monroeville sportsman show &who was with me on the demo. I hope to get back down there again & maybe we can hit the creek fishing.

The on-river experience is fantastic. Their transportation is not air conditioned, and the exit from the river is very long and pretty steep, especially while carrying a kayak!

Nice little operation. You can rent a canoe or kayak and they will take you up river and you can float back down to their launch. They have a couple options based on how long you want to be on the river. With the water level, the Kiski river can get shallow in the summer.

Neill and Eve are great people. If you want to do a float or buy a kayak, they can help you out. Before you make a purchase at a big box chain store, be sure to stop at RE first and give some business to the local small business.

Having run into several kayakers on Lake Arthur, I questioned them about their higher quality kayaks. Two different people mentioned River's Edge. After visiting their website I set my sites on the Jackson Tupelo, hoping for my favorite color combo of turquoise and purples. After phoning Evelyn, of course she had one in stock and on sale! I drove the hour's drive to Leechburg (totally worth it!) My excitement surged as I pulled into the lot to see my new kayak displayed on their trailer on an angle. She helped me find the perfect paddle by sitting in the kayak and even threw in a bag of tasty kettle corn!😋I ADORE my new Jackson kayak!! 😘😍😎Evellyn showed me all the great features like the removable seat with lumbar pillow and dry bag and slots for future gear. Her hubby also came over and gave my copilot/sailor buddy Odie (my kayaking pooch) some love and congratulated me. I have wanted a kayak like this since I started! I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the people who I purchased it from!! I would recommend them to everyone! Thanks guys! I am happily paddling in my Jackson Tupelo! 😍😊😁😘
