I came into the store and requested a wheel alignment and was greeted warmly by Darryle. He was not pushy and listened very well to my request. I asked him about recalibrating my steering angle sensor in my car after the wheel alignment was done. He said it would be no problem. He gave me a price quote and how much time it would take. Then I got a call saying my car was done, and in less time then he said it would be. My car drives perfect now. The team at the fruitville pike Pep Boys did an outstanding job. I will tell at least ten people I know to bring their cars to that location for service. I teach automotive in a school locally so I am very careful about who I let touch my cars. All I can say is outstanding work and now you have a new customer. 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

None of the lugs on my car were torqued after a tire rotation. Resulting in me having to tighten every bolt myself, also one of the lugs came off while driving. Called and complained, got no apology or anything. DO NOT COME HERE, your life is in danger.

Absolutely trash every time I come here. Last time I had an appointment was 2 years ago and it took 8 hours to change 4 tires.. I was originally going to wait and they told me it would be 3 hours.. They were nice enough to get me a Lift home.Today I had an appointment for 1 tire replacement and told me it would be 1 hour or so and it took 2 1/2 hours of waiting.. Actually if you are reading this, I am probably still waiting..The waiting room has trashy torn chairs.I am not sure why they have a cashier staffed since there was no one here. They could be working on cars with a bell for when someone walks in.I am very sad that nothing has changed in 2 years. Maybe this is why it took me 2 years to come back. Sad..The 2 employees that were working seemed friendly.

Pep Boys provided my vehicle with the repairs it needed to be safe for the winter months. I appreciated their honesty about pricing and how scheduling would go for the appointment. The actual job was finished in a reasonable amount of time and so far everything works great.

They made sure to check what type of tires they needed for my car and ordered them in a timely fashion. The tires were not to arrive til after there tire promotion ended but they honored the promotion price for me. The tires were changed once they arrived in a timely fashion. Service was prompt and curtious.

I am 100 percent convinced that the last time I took my car to Pep Boys for an oil change, they did not actually do the oil change. For several reasons - 1) did not reset the mileage indicator in the settings on my vehicle. 2) did not install a new mileage sticker 3) when I took my vehicle back to Pep Boys, they told me that the plug for the oil was not a manufacturer plug and blamed it on the company that did the last oil change.... which was the same exact company and location where I was currently getting an oil change.Asked them to clear all service lights- did not clear all service lights.Terrible experience. Would not recommend Pep Boys on the Fruitville Pike. It is so convenient because it is close to my work... but the experience twice in a row has been terrible.

I called on a Saturday afternoon for prices on two tires and was immediately put on hold for over 10 minutes. I hung up and called again and put on hold for nearly 20 minutes. Nobody ever picked up my call. I'll go somewhere else!

8 months pregnant and don't want to get under my car to change my oil, techs knew right away the "special" oil for my car and didn't charge me an arm and a leg for it. Much appreciated 👍

Accidentally scheduled an oil change at the wrong store (LOL). Despite that, they still decided to squeeze me in for it. They didn’t have to do that, but they did and I appreciate that customer service. 5/5

I had my State Inspection and Emissions done at this place but it's not a place where I would like to return. When the mechanic suggested that I get new tires, I agreed but I had a specific brand in mind which was not available in their stock. They tried to sell me one of their off-brand tires, which I didn't want. It was apparent that I had to go somewhere else, but the sales associate became rude and hostile. In addition, while I waited to pay and leave, they intentionally kept my car up on the lift for thirty minutes.

My front driver’s side tire has been going flat and in the mornings it only has about 6 psi left in it and we’ve been having to fill it multiple times per day.After having the car for about an hour, the technician called and said they could not find any leaks in the tire, and said they checked all the tires (none of the other tires have been losing air). I asked how it was possible that there was no leak when it’s been getting down to 6 psi overnight, and asked if there was anything else it could be. He said it could deflate with extreme cold temperatures (it has been in the 50s overnight) but there was no leak so they could not fix.When my husband and I picked up our car, my husband noted that when they checked the pressure it was at 24 psi, he told them we had filled it to 34 psi on our way to the store (about 11 miles/ 20 minute drive). The technician said “well if it is still doing it in a few days you can bring it back, I have a dunk tank I can put it in,” indicating that he did not fully inspect the tire before telling us there was no leak to fix. The employees were very dismissive and unprofessional.

I made an appointment online, to have tires installed. The online scheduling was pretty easy. However, when I arrived at Pep Boys, I was told I would have to wait about 2 hours for the work to be completed, due to the service department being back-upped. That was disappointing but I understood how these things can happen. Other than that, the service was good!

I literally spoke to a sales associate prior to my appointment, specifically in regard to the issue I had with the compressor and belt component I had serviced at Pep Boys less then 18 months prior before.I was told specifically at day of drop I would not have to pay anything at all even just to look at it. Originally when I scheduled the service appointment I asked if the piece that was looked at which was the compressor and belt,would be covered under the warranty. I was told the warranty was good for 2 years.After my car was looked at I paid almost $80 just to have it looked at with no work done and was told I would have to pay a replacement and service fee on top of it and that now the only thing that would be covered was the tension belt, which needed to be replaced, according to the service mechanicsI asked for just the belt then and then they said they could not give it to me. Even though I was told that's all they could give me at the end was that.This is by definition a text book example of bait and switch. Along with poor customer service in regard to Pep Boys providing inaccurate and misleading information to have me pay for service fees that were not even provided. Its ridiculous especially when all service questions were asked specifically in great detail prior too turning my vehicle on 2 seperate instances.

Made an appointment to have a tire repaired and put on the vehicle. Got there and they said it would be at least two hours before they even got to us. They said we could leave the tire there. That was fine with us since they said they would put it on for us when it was ready. Over two hours later it was finally done. We asked again about putting the tire on and they said it would be another couple hours before they could change the tire!! Needless to say we took our tire and left. Found an amazing place on Dillerville Rd that put the tire on for us right away and didn't even charge us for it. Pep Boys sucks don't waste your money or time at this place.

My husband call them on Friday to find out when the best time to book an appointment for a service we needed for our AC in our vehicle. He confirmed with the person on the phone the best time to make the appointment. He was advised to make it for Sunday at 9 am through their online service. They just called the night before our appointment to cancel, leaving us with almost no opportunity to book elsewhere. It is extremely hot in our area at this time and we called ahead specifically to ensure we could be accommodated without inconveniencing them. Very poor service.

I scheduled an appointment online, and selected the option to wait there for my car to be finished. But that was not possible, because there were 4 other cars ahead of me. Even though I made my appointment a week before, I still had to drop of my car. I left it there with them at 8am. They were finally finished at 3pm. The price was lower than I expected it to be for an oil change, and inspection. That's probably the only good thing I can say about my experience here. DO NOT USE THE ONLINE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING OPTION, AND EXPECT TO HAVE YOUR CAR DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR HOURS.

Do not recommend, waste of time!! Appointment at 8am (oil change & tire rotation) and I was going to wait there. They called me the night before and asked if I could drop it off, being my only vehicle I was at least provided with free Lyft rides home and back in (only positive)! Called to check on vehicle at 2:30pm and it had not even been touched yet. Highly recommend going anywhere else!!

I went online after realizing that my tires were down to the wear marks. Ordered tires and were installed within 2 hours, it doesn't get any faster than this. The Associate's at the shop were great and showed an intrest to making sure that I was treated with respect and that I got what I wanted. Kudos to the team!

Dropped off our Tuscan for tires and an alignment at 10:30 had it back by noon. Can't complain about that. Honestly this was the first time I've ever used PepBoys for any car service / repair and I was quite pleased, I'll definitely be back for future needs.

Don’t recommend. My oil change took 3 1/2 hours even though I had a scheduled appointment time for 10 am. I checked in two hours in and then was told they only had two technicians working. Definitely won’t be taking my car here again due to the poor service.

The Lancaster Pep Boys spent well over an hour diagnosing my tires. They didn't charge me for the work and for changing out the spare. I later went back for 4 new tires based on their customer service.

Got a flat tire. Saw when left the house. Called AAA to change the the tire. He cameand put on the spare but couldn't put in a plug, didn't have them in his truck. But said it would be able to get fixed without a problem.So. Made appointment with Pep boys..Jordan scheduled, no problem. We got there and as soon as the mechanic took it out of the back, he said I cant fix it, you have to purchase a new tire!!.. didn't even try! By the way, it was NEW tire. Pep Boys just wanted us to buy a new tire from them. Cory was very rude..We left!! And went to K and W Tires, had no problem. They put in a plug and 25.00 later.and 15 min later , we went home with a fixed tire!!!PEP BOYS IS A RIP OFF!!!

Came in with a vehicle emergency at the end of the day, while from out of town, with the in-laws in the car. My guy was able to not only fit me in within record time but also didn’t charge me a thing to put the heat shield back on. Legend!
