Hands down the best Submarine Sandwiches in town. The Ham Salad sandwiches and subs have been a favorite of mine since as far back as I can remember. They used to have the original gobs and the sani-dairy iced tea I liked as well. Family oriented and made fresh sandwiches and subs, will have you craving for Kochs every time you pass by on your way in or out of town, via Route #56.

Yeah idk it's been bought out. I used to go daily now I never go in. Tried to update store, but foods not the same,its terrible. Tried a sub and never again, bread was stale looked they put a whole head of lettuce on it hardly any actual meat or cheese. They premade salads.... 🤢. It is truly sad. I miss the old Koch's.....stuffs more expensive n it's not as good.

Best subs in town. I drive from Salix just for their subs. I grew up in the westend and that was our go to sub shop. None of the others subs can compare. My kids love that they sale individual pieces of candy and ice creams. I hope it can stay the same. Enjoy your retirement!

Have been going to this place since I was a kid and when it was at its original location. Under new ownership now but still the same place everyone has loved for years. They made a few updates as far as cosmetic and checking out makes things a bit smoother and it looks great in there. As always will go back.

Koch's is the ONLY place I buy lunch meat and cheese. The subs are always great, the pasta salad, macaroni salad and potato salad are the BEST! Fresh selection of everything. Nice selection of sides and drinks too. Always such friendly faces there too. Simply the best of Johnstown!

I will never go back there again. They tried to limit the amount of Blks I could buy just because they just got them in. A sale is a sale. It shouldn't matter if it's one person spending 15 dollars or 15 people spending one dollar. There was no sign posted stating that there was a limit on this item either. Tried messaging the Facebook page but they don't seem to care and I noticed that any negative comment that's mentioned on their posts, magically disappears. What are they trying to hide if they're not doing anything wrong? If they didn't treat their customers like this, they wouldn't have bad comments or reviews. How many others have they done this to? My money will go elsewhere.

Prices are reasonable, and they make great sandwiches!!😁I have been going here for almost 10 years.The new Owners have taken the prices up a little bit but the service and the sandwiches areoutstanding and worth it!!😉. And it's convenient for me because I only live a block away.P.S. And this is the 1st and only grocery store I ever comment on!!!

Anytime I get the chance to stop by Koch's I JUMP at the opportunity! Their subs are AMAZING, the staff are helpful & friendly, and the prices are decent! Koch's is definitely at the top of my list for "Sandwich Spots/Convenience Stores to shop at"!

Great place to visit. New owners took over with a few changes but nothing drastically and he said they are keeping all the old owners recipes.
